As I had posted earlier, I wrote up a poem. This is my first attempt at Pokemon poetry, so I had a lot of trouble with rhyming especially.

The title is, umm.. Christmas in Unova!

Spoiler:

Christmas in Unova
The stage is set for tonight;
A stage amidst Unova.
The twinkling stars in the sky up bright,
Sing praise to the chilling aura.

Zuruggu and Zorua and Zekrom;
Mamepato and Munna and Magyo,
Leaving behind the dull Autumn;
Merrily sleigh across the snow.

The little Snivy runs about,
Gracing the lonely tree,
Hoping that his tree would stand out,
Amidst a blanket of snow wintry.

Out again in the snowy field,
A spooky Furiijio helps about,
The baby Oshawott who squealed
While fixing his snowman's snout.

The lonely Tepig roams about,
Through the streets of Hiun City.
Petrified and anxious on a lookout,
For a trainer; whom all would pity.

The city is filled with lights bright,
And a silent whisper floats by;
And then the carols to all's delight
And the presents awaiting untie.

The night is jolly, lively and gay
With Pokemon thrilled and gala.
Oh! And this unforgettable day
Of Christmas in Unova!

The new region Isshu,
Known as Unova,
It is here,
With a challenge for you,
New Pokemon,
New Cities,
And new towns to explore,
Unova is a new pokemon galore!

The eight gym leaders,
Whom you will meet,
Are looking,
For a trainer to beat!
So get your pokemon ready,
Get 'em tough and strong,
Or your battle with the leaders,
Is gonna be long.
And yes, it is the wintery season,
Unova/Isshu,
Is here for a reason,
To Bring Fun and Happiness,
To All,
Merry Christmas Members And Pokemon,

I finished drawing and outlining my picture (Gochirazeru decorated like a Christmas tree) But I have no idea how to make the image smaller on MS Paint. a quarter of it's head covers the screen, and I can't make it smaller... Anyone know how (I was planning to colour it on paint or something like The Red Chain's pic)

Well, here's my entry. Looks like a little kid drew it, but hey, I'm a bit rusty with my drawing. I think I also did good with the coloring, considering I used crayons. Except Vanipeti's eyes are wrong. And um my signature got cut off in the scanner for whatever reason. Oh well. Enjoy!

This is my pic outlined, in Black and White lol. That twirl around her arms is going to be tinsel. She is dressed up like a Christmas tree with items in pokemon XD I though of that because of Gochi's body shape, but also I was going to keep her black and white because of the theme. Black and white. But since her only colours are B/W anyway I will colour her.

And I made her smaller, by pasting it on Word, making it smaller, pasting it on paint and ta-da. So simple XD ~~ Time to colour now.

Poem - Christmas Eve

Cheren checks his Christmas list,
Hihidaruma heats up tomorrow's feast.
Round the tree Touko places ornaments,
Ishizumai comes out of its shell to see the merriments.
Silly Bel broke a bauble,
Tidy Chillarmy sweeps it up in a doddle.
Minezumi is on look-out in the kitchen since,
Aianto aren't allowed near the cooling mince.
Season's Greetings cards are sent out by Touya.

Elegant Prof. J,
Vaguely dressed as Mrs. Clause,
Excit'dly sings carols.

Inside his grand castle,
N, by decorating, gets in a hassle.

United, all of Unova prepare
Night and day with flair,
On come the final lights of the tree standing tall,
Very well is all done and everyone wishes you all

• I kept Hihidaruma and Chillarmy as their Japanese names because I'd already written that part before their English names were revealed, and they suit better :)

Story - Snivy in the City

"Oh wow, Castelia City!" Uyi exclaimed as he stood admiring the grand metropolitan area around him. "Doesn't it look amazing Leavi?" he asked his Snivy who was standing to the left of him.

"Sni," replied Leavi, who then tugged her scarf tight.

"And it looks like the snow hit this place hard as well. Come on, let's go. Mum said that there was an awesome gift shop here, let's get some gifts before we head back home," Uyi began. "Now where did she say the place was again?" he asked, as he pulled a folded piece of paper from his back pocket.

"Snivy vy?" asked Leavi. They had now begun walking in Uyi's supposed direction to the gift shop.

"The gym? Well that's Arti's* Gym, but it's closed for the holidays. We'll just have to come back later to challenge him, and boy will we be ready!"

"Sni!"

"Yeah! But you do know that you'll have a type disadvantage against Arti's* team, he's a bug type user, so you may not get to face him Leavi," Uyi informed her.

"Snivy."

"Haha, that's right Leavi, that's right," replied Uyi with a mellow grin.

The two continued walking through the white blanket, dodging busy commuters with every step. Uyi looked at the directions his mum had given him with confusion. Was he to turn here? Was it a right at this street? All the big and identical skyscrapers didn't help matters either. Is this the winding road? Should he ask for directions? Is that Leavi wandering off?

"Leavi!" Uyi exclaimed.

He ran to meet his Snivy who had sauntered off aimlessly. He grabbed hold of one of her arms which was a signal to her that she should stop.

"Leavi, don't wander off like that, Castelia City is a busy big place, you could get lost easily," scolded Uyi.

Leavi only replied with an apologetic look and all was forgiving.

The two then continued following the impossible to understand directions Uyi's mum had given them. Via various turn guessing, the two found themselves in a deserted area of Castelia City. The area was dark and creepy.

"Hey, hey you!" Called a mysterious voice from a dark alleyway.

Uyi spun round to the directions of the voice and asked, "Who me?"

"Yes you," replied the figure as it emerged from the darkness like Giratina from the Distortion World. "I saw you over at Aloe's* Gym in Shippou* City. You used your
Zurrugu* against her, it's pretty good. I want to challenge it with mine, one on one."

Uyi could now see the guy who was speaking, he was slightly older than Uyi himself, but not as tall, the way he dressed and his body frame made him look like a dancer. "I'm sorry, who are you?" Uyi asked.

"That's irrelevant right now, but do you want to battle or not?"

"I sure do. Step aside Leavi, this is Zach's* time to shine," he said, smiling down to his Snivy. "Ok, Zach*, come on out!" Ordered Uyi while holding his Zurrugu's* Pokéball out.

"Zuggu*!" Exclaimed Zach* as he appeared in front of Uyi.

The mystery guy also called his Zurrugu* out and the battle commenced.

After a really short while, Leavi got bored of the battle and wandered off, against Uyi's wishes. She made her way the busier part of Castelia City and began looking for something interesting to partake in. Through the fast walking legs of commuters and thick snow, Leavi walked about the city, looking high and low for something interesting. She got to the sea port railing where a crowd huddled tightly together were watching something on a stage.

Back at the battle, Uyi's Zurrugu* was on the ground, almost out of strength.

"Zurrugu* jump and use Brick Break!" The mystery guy shouted.

This was it, Uyi was about to lose. Then he looked about frantically thinking of what to do before the move hit Zach*. "Zach*, use Sand-Attack with the snow!" Uyi exclaimed, elated at his thought up plan.

The attack caught the foe's Zurrugu* off guard and it fell back.

"Zach* quick; use Headbutt as Zurrugu* lands!"

It was a knock-out blow. Uyi had won.

"Woohoo!" He exclaimed. "Great job Zach*!"

"Zurrugu*!" Zach* replied with a victory jump of his own.

"That was quite a comeback," the mystery guy said as he returned his Zurrugu* back to
its Pokéball. "You've got something special; you might even be good enough to face my father."

"Your father; who's that?" The guy had already gone back into the shadows before Uyi was able to finish his sentence, "Hey, wait up!" Uyi called but all he got as a reply was cold air.

"Did you see that battle Leavi? Leavi?" Uyi began to panic, his Snivy was nowhere in sight. "Zach* did you see Leavi go?" Uyi asked his Zurrugu*.

"Ru*," it replied.

"Alright thanks; return," and then the Pokémon went back into its Pokéball.

Uyi ran out into the busier part of the city in search of his Snivy. He asked several people and Pokémon but all didn't seem to have the answer or attitude he wanted.

Downcast, he ambled to the sea port where he heard some singing.

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Sni vy vy, sni vy vy
Jingle all the way
Sni sni vy sni vy

"Leavi?"

Uyi ran to the area were the song was coming from. It was the sea port carollers. He pushed through the tight crowd and made his way to the front. There was Leavi happily singing away on stage with the carollers.

"Leavi!" He yelled then reached out to pull her down.

"Let it be child, can't you see it's having fun? At least let it finish the song," an older female caroller said.

Embarrassed, Uyi retracted his arm and went back into the crowd.

After the song was over, Uyi went to get Leavi.

"Leavi, what did I say about walking off?"

"Vy," Leavi replied.

"That's right, I said 'don't'. Sigh, just don't do it again, and I mean it this time, I thought I lost you for good."

"Snivy," said Leavi apologetically.

"Oh it's no problem. You did pretty good up there," Uyi said with a smile. "Ok, come on, we have some gifts to get!"

• If this is the only Story Writing entry please discard it, hence discarding the whole section itself. You see, I also want to enter it into the New Year extraveganza Writing Competetion and I'm not sure if they'll accept it since I also entered it here.
• * = Ja[panese name and may change upon English release, even the nickname I give it.
• Oh and I'm the main character and I'll choose a female Snivy and name it Leavi ^_^
