  • Anglefire and Geocities are both decent for begining webmasters. They also have bare-bones "page builders". They both have free accounts and paid accounts, but they also have ads that appear on your site for the free accounts.

Now that I think about it, my first site was on Angelfire. Anyway, here are the links:

    https://www.angelfire.com/
    https://www.geocities.com/

Also, I suggest learning HTML at one of these places:

    https://www.htmldog.com/
    https://www.lissaexplains.com/
    https://www.w3schools.com/
    https://www.htmlgoodies.com/

Lissa Explains is the best for beginners. I learned at W3Schools.

  • Yeah, message boards are a combination mix. There is no perfect message board, but there are a few that you can choose to familiarize yourself with

  • For what? Forum software depends, usually around $69-$185 (only permenant licenses go around the $100 range), and naturally I'm talking about vbulletin and invision power board. Webhosting, depends. Some nice people offer services for free with cpanel, others you have to pay with. Most likely you'll find prices around the $3 a month to the $15 a month range, domains usually cost $9 a year..
