I just jot down what i just did. Thats it.

I'm not even up to Mt. Moon and Drowzee is level 17. I'm pretty sure I'll beat Misty easily. After all, Hypno is one of the Kings/Queens of Special Walling.

And wow, only Grass is left. Someone probably will take it by tomorrow afternoon, though. I'm just glad I got Psychic.

UPDATE:
After defeating Brock
i went towards Mt. Moon
i defeated every trainer there and every wild pokemon that disturbed me there
then i got the dome fossil and went to fight boohooo(rival)
i completely destroyed him i 1hit all of his pokemon with scythers
wing attack
i also caught a paras in Mt. Moon and trained all the way to lv 28
so it evolved into parasect
i got the S.S ticket from bill
and defeated misty without a problem

you can only have one of each species. You can have a Mankey and a Primeape on your team, but you cannot have two Mankeys or two Primeapes.

Lol, well i applaude your efforts, training a Pikachu alone. The fight scene in the Anime against Brock was child's play compared to you, I'm sure.

Dang, that's pretty nice. My team in my cartridge LG is only level 28 and I'm up to Fuscia City already.

Anyways, I got a Hypno, yay.

- Bought Magikarp (Strength/Surf/Waterfall/Rock Smash slave if it can learn all of those)
- Traveled through Mt. Moon, beat the Rockets.
- Picked Dome Fossil from the crazy Rocket Nerd.
- Entered Cerulean City
- Beat PKMN Rival O'Henry
- Beat Nugget Bridge
- Xelos my Drowzee evolved into Hypno
- Saved Bill from a life of Pokemonhood
- Got the S.S. Ticket from Bill
- Caught Abra, named it "Felix."
- Fought Misty with Felix in first slot, won.
- Felix became level 15, one more level until evolution

That's pretty much it. I plan to train Magikarp to get another Pokedex entry, Gyarados. I'll evolve Squirtle and then catch a Meowth as a Flash/Cut slave, evolve that into Persian.

After defeating misty i headed down to vermillion
i deeated every trainer by vermillion the ship and fought a lot of digglets
then i went and defeated LT. Surge
it was hard because raichu kept using
Double team so i missed like 8 times
then i chose out my kirkly
and killed him with confusion

Oh, it was an EPIC battle... (Spamming Slam XD). And those levels are nothing... I had four lvl 50s on my squad when I beat Koga (trained on cycling road AND Silence Bridge).

I have my Hypno spam Headbutt now. After closer inspection, there's 31 IVs in ATK and SP. ATK, so it's good for anything.

Yea, in FR/LG they made it that non-Kanto pokes can't evolve and Kanto pokes can't evolve into non-Kanto ones until the National Dex. It sucks a lot, though.

OK, seeing as though most of you have already voted, and the Majority went to the tougher challenge, I guess there will be more rules.

BONUS RULES:
-After you beat the E4 the FIRST time, post your Party, time it took you to beat it, and the number of Pokes owned in the Dex

-Catch any amount of Pokemon you need to, then continue with obtaining the Nat. Dex

-It is recommended that you do Bill's Sevii Island quest BEFORE the E4 (first time)

-Do any quest on the Seven Islands

-You may add any Pokemon from the other regions, as long as they are your type

-I don't really want you trading in others from other games, but you can trade in ONE from the outside, and they must be level 65 or under

-You MAY... MAY use ONE Pokemon that is NOT your type to beat the E4 a second type, under certain conditions
-*You cannot trade in any Pokemon from the outside if you use this rule
-*This Pokemon MUST have a move of your type (T-tar Thunderbolt :))
-*You CANNOT use legendaries, Flying, Dragon, Ice, or Ghost types

-When you are done with the Seven Islands, post your Team, Time, and any other info. (Owned # is not necessary)

-You must then beat the new and improved E4

-After that, you have beaten the Monotype Challenge! Post your FINAL Team, FINAL Time, and any other comments about this challenge

Nooo, I have to restart... The encounter code I used caused the ROM to be infected with a broken box. If I go into the PC, all the boxes are filled with ?s and bad eggs that suddenly crash the ROM. And I was just up to Celadon as well!

I'm back!!!

After catching Pipa and Ratti, trained until I beat Gary. Then finished Viridian Forest and beat Brock, which was not easy with a Pidgey and a Rattata. By which time team was:


Rattata (Ratti) LV 20, Hasty Nature, Ability Run Away
Moves: Tackle, Quick Attack, Hyper Fang, Tail Whip


Pidgey (Pipa) LV 20, Rash Nature, Ability Keen Eye
Moves: Tackle, Sand-Attack, Gust, Quick Attack


Bulbasaur (Bulby) LV 5, Mild Nature, Ability Overgrow
Moves: Tackle, Tail Whip

Also caught a Mankey, Pikachu, Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle and Kakuna.

Then headed to Mount Moon, caught a Jigglypuff (Jiggly) and a Clefairy (Cleffa.) About to head through Mt. Moon to Cerulean after I train Jiggly and Cleffa to LV 18 or so.

After pretty much taking out every trainer in Mt. Moon, Nidorana grew to level 22 and then I evolved it with the Moon Stone. On Route 4 I caught a Sandshrew at level 10. I trained a little and just beat Gary.

Since you are doing BUG, you cannot use your Charmander, unless you want him to be your ONLY other type AFTER you reach the Sevii Islands (SEE PAGE 3 FOR BONUS RULEZ).

Since Scizor IS part bug, you can trade and trade back to evolve Scyther after you get the NAT Dex.
