How much are they worth?

How much does my set of Regirock (Gold Star), Regice (Gold Star) and Registeel (Gold Star) worth (in approx. NZD please)? They're all in mint condition and from EX: Legend Maker series.

I've never seen those gold stars before - the characters have different colors than their ex versions, and the Pokemon pictures go off the rectangular border. I got them from the first 3 LM booster packs I bought from a Vagabonds store, one in each, so it's either that I'm uber lucky, or they're pretty common (their attacks seem pretty pwnage for non-ex's, although only under some strange Prize card conditions). Anyway, I have no idea what they're worth.

I'll try to have them scanned so you know what I'm talking about.

PS: Instead of the ex's "When this Pokemon is KO'ed, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards", it says in the same place: "You cannot have more than 1 Pokemon (Star) in your deck". Pretty strange...

Pokémon * (it's how you call the Gold Star Pokémon) are very rare cards (even rarer than Pokémon-ex) that have special attacks with cool effects.

They are the card version of the Shiny Pokémon.

They usually worth good!

OMFG!!! I must be 00000000000b3r lucky then - I only bought 3 packs of LM and I got one of each in each pack, that's why I thought they're pretty common.

Anyway, maybe it's just here in NZ, I find the ex's are getting rarer and rarer - I remember when the Sandstroms are just out and I bought 8 packs for NZ$25 on special, 7 of them had ex's: 6 had Gardevoir ex (><) and the other Aggron ex. And after that, I've only got a Dusclops ex and a Milotic ex from Emerald, and a Metagross (not ex, that star thingy) from Delta Species, and nothing else, from the approx 100 packs I bought...

Thats a lot of cards to price individually. It is worth noting that older cards (base-gym2) usually have quite a low value due to them being already collected and stopped in circulation.

From this list I'll give a very general estimate for the rare/more valuable cards:

Most rares from this list are approximately £0.75 (lower depending on condition).
The rest of the holos, promos and error cards fall in a £1 - £3 range. Apart from the Meowth and Electrode, there is nothing here which is of a great interest to most collectors.

Rocket's Raikou ex - £3 (an ex, BUT it's a boxtopper, making it not very valuable)

Raikou is not valuable ? :(
I thought it was an hidden card...

And I have a big card that I've not mentionned before. It's a tyranitar with a pokébody that transform all energies attached to him in dark ones. (This card is 2x the size of a normal one).

Boxtoppers come on the top of every booster box of 36 packs, so if you buy a box of Deoxys you will always get a Rockets Raikou, meaning that lots of people have ended up getting them from retailers/tourneys for a cheap price.

The same with the Tyranitar, its a jumbo boxtopper for Expedition, but since its to big and non modified its worth about £2.

On the up side, you do have a very nice Ray *...;)
