Pokémon: Argeth Region Championship [PG-16]

[FONT=&quot]Plot: [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Welcome to the Argreth Region, home to Pokémon from all different regions. Pokémon from Pikachu to Zoroark live there. Argreth is a new region with lush forest, fierce jungles, vast oceans, treacherous mountains and caves to big open fields. As a new region Argreth unlike the other regions has yet to have a Pokémon champion run their Pokémon league. Argeth has an elite four but they lack the skill to become champion.

Just like every region Argeth has eight gym leaders located throughout the region. Vike, the first gym leader specializes in dark and steel Pokémon. Janeth, the second gym leader specializes in electric Pokémon. Keenai, the third gym leader specializes in flying Pokémon. Luke, the fourth gym leader specializes in fire Pokémon. Lucida, Luke's twin sister and the fifth gym leader specializes in water Pokémon. Megan, Keenai's wife the sixth gym leader, specializes in normal Pokémon. Jaret, the seventh gym leader specializes in dragon Pokémon and has only been defeated by the trainers in the elite four. Garlav, the eight gym leader specializes in psychic Pokémon. Each gym leader is stronger and more difficult to beat and have strange ways of battling.

The elite four are the only trainers in all of Argeth who have beaten the gym leaders. Urlk, the first and weakest of the elite four specializes in ice and ground Pokémon. Rin, the second elite four member uses bug and water Pokémon. Alith, the third elite four member specializes in ghost and fighting type Pokémon. Zaren, the fourth member of the elite four is the youngest elite four member ever he is only 14 years old and specializes in dragon and fire Pokémon and is the son of Garlav.

Just like ever region Argeth has its own evil gang. Argeth is plagued by Team Ragnarok. Team Ragnarok believes that Pokémon battling is useless unless it's to gain power over something or someone. They specialize in dragon and dark Pokémon and love to wreak havoc wherever they go. Unlike the other teams Ragnarok's boss is not idealistic or wants to go after a legendary Pokémon. He just wants to gain absolute power and control over Argeth by any means necessary. They steal Pokémon, rob pokemarts, and kidnap gym leaders to force them to join them and mug trainers for money or Pokémon. Argeth is a new region and has yet to have anyone challenge its league [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Where you come in: [/FONT][FONT=&quot]You are a Pokémon trainer either born in Argeth or are coming here to be one of the first trainers to challenge the Argeth league and become the Pokémon champion. You will have to first beat the eight gym leaders then the elite four members. After each trainer has tried to beat the elite four members there will be a tournament to see who the new champion is. If you get defeated during your challenge against the elite four you are knocked out of the trainer challenge and have to watch the others who win fight it out in the tournament. The professors from other regions have sent out their own trainers to become champion for bragging rights.[/FONT]

His hair most of the time sways to the right but sometimes randomly it sways to the left. His eyes are a light sky blue gleaming with happiness. They light up a bright blue during the night if his happy but they seem to be a distasteful black when he's sad. Ether is about 5'8 he looks very skinny but is more muscular than he looks. Due to this people are always shocked when he does daring and sporty things.[/FONT]

Personality: [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Bold, daring, cocky and loving describes Ether in a nut shell. Ether is head strong and never backs down from a challenge. He loves to help people and Pokémon in need and hates Team Ragnarok evil ways. Ether is extremely cocky and loves to provoke people and make jokes he sometime he can't keep his mouth shut. Ether can be described as brave as he never shows fear in the face of danger and never steers clear from it. He is a very loving person and makes friends easily.

If you ever needed someone to talk to or help you with something Ether's you guy. Besides his personality Ether can be very shy and timid around a big group of people and not talk at all. [/FONT]

History: [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Ether was raised in Karamiku town with his mother and father who were both Pokémon trainers from other regions before he was born. His mother Elaina is from Sinnoh and his father is from Kanto. His mother use to be a fifth gym leader of Sinnoh before she moved to Argeth and Crasher Wake took it over. His father used to be the eighth gym leader of Kanto before he moved to Argeth and Blue took over. His parents meet on the boat to Argeth to be the first people to explore this new region. The two moved to Karamiku town and have lived there together all of Ethers' life. His mom works at a Pokémon center in the town over and his father works as a Pokémon league representative and judges who becomes a gym leader or elite four member. Due to his parents' history and jobs Ether knows a thing or two about Pokémon and wants to become a trainer one day but Argeth didn't have a Pokémon league yet.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] Ether would spend his free time reading books his mother had lying around or watching videos of his parents Pokémon battling. He would go outside and try to figure out what Pokémon was flying over Karamiku town. When he was 14 and a few days before his birthday his father came home and told him that the Pokémon league in Argeth would be ready in a few months after Ethers' birthday.

Excited Ether asked his father and mother to teach him a few things. They taught Ether the basics of Pokémon training like what the Pokémon center does and the pokemart but they wanted Ether to learn the rest on his own.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]When the Pokémon league was about to be finished Ether asked his parents why neither of them applied to be a gym leader or elite four member. They told ether that they wanted to live a quiet life away from Pokémon battling and spend as much of their time with him. Ether grateful for his parents to give up Pokémon battling for him made a vow to become the best trainer in all of Argeth and become the Pokémon champion for them. [/FONT]

Home Region and town: Castelia City, Unova


Appearance: Acelina has long straight teal colored hair. When asked if her hair is dyed that color her response is always the truthful it's natural. She her skin is tanned from being outside at all hours of the day and her face is covered in many freckles. She's tall for her age standing at 5'7" and is very skinny. Her hair is usually up in a ponytail with her long bangs framing her face sometimes annoying her by covering her big Jade green eyes.

Her favorite colors are a rich purple and a dark pink and she's always seen wearing them. She usually wears a long sleeved shirt thats the rich purple color with a dark pink tank top over it thats covered in small black hearts. Her pleated skirt is a plaid of the dark pink and the purple reaching down to mid-thigh and underneath the skirt she always has a pair of black leggings on. Her favorite shoes are her dark pink ballet flats but in her bag she also has a pair of purple boots. On her back she carries a backpack thats a dark purple and never goes anywhere without it for it has everything she needs inside..

Personality: Acelina can be very withdrawn. She likes to keep to herself and doesn't say much only talking to people if they either A. Talk to her first. B. She has a question. or C. Her blood Sugar is low and she has nothing with sugar. Though she doesn't talk much Acelina is a very caring individual, she holds a strong love for Pokemon and a dislike Team Ragnarok just from what she's heard.

Acelina is also a very good listener and once she meet someone they can tell that if they have a problem she'll be there to listen to them let out all their worries and never tell a soul about it. She can be a little emotional at times and is very sensitive to people making fun of her even if it's in a playful and joking manner. She's been described several times by people as the type of girl that you don't want to see cry because when she does it's near impossible to get her to stop.


History: Acelina lived a lonely life before traveling to Argeth. She grew up in a very protective family. Her parents never letting her be anywhere alone. The reasons why was simple. Her father was one of the richest men in Castelia City and Acelina was born with type two diabetes. Her parents spoiled her but unlike what the kids in Castelia thought it didn't make her snotty in fact she hated her parents constant spoiling of her. At the age of seven she was saved from someone trying to kidnap her to ransom her fathers money by a Pokemon trainer hat just happened to be in the right place at the right time and after watching him battle with his fire Pokemon Acelina became determined to become a Pokemon Trainer and use mainly fire Pokemon. But upon telling her parents her dream the closest she got to a Pokemon for the next six years was when she visited the Pokemon center after school.

On her thirteenth birthday Acelina was sought out by Professor Juniper who wanted her to go to the Argeth region and challenge the gyms. She was never more excited in her life but her excitement fell when her parents told her no. That very night she packed her bag and taking the money out of her personal account went straight to Kanoko Town where she told the Professor her parents said it was okay for her to go. Luckily her story was believed and she was able to choose a starter Pokemon. She quickly choose Tepig the fire starter naming him Blaze and took a plane to the Argeth region to start her first adventure.

Home Region and Town: Sootopolis City, Hoen region


Appearance: Jade has dark brown hair, harsh golden eyes, his body is tall and slim and somewhat toned, his skin is a light brown color. His hair is always in a fauxhawk, with the sides and back of his hair brushed down, his hair always gives of a shine. His harsh gold eyes brighten up when he sees pokemon playing and when he's in the heat of battle. He is 5' 10, with a slim figure.

He always wears his favorite colors blue, black, and white. He wears a teal blue turtle neck with white and black stripes crossing up and down it, his sleeves are always rolled up to his elbows, he also always leaves his jacket half zipped revealing a black shirt with a white zigzag pattern going down it. He always wears a pendant of a small key around his neck never taking it off, he wears baggy black jeans with a Latios design etched into his right pants leg, he wears a pair of black sneakers with a blue streak going across them. He carries around a blue backpack which contains a stock of medical pokemon supplies and other various trainers supplies.


Personality: Jade's a very outgoing person, and he's also very protective of his friends. But he does tend to shy away from new people he might seem cold at first, but give him time to warm up to you, and the reward will be a lifelong friend. Jades also a kind and compassionate person, he will always be there for a friend. Most of the time Jade likes to think before he acts, but if he sees his friends or pokemon being hurt, he rushs in to help immediately almost like a reflex. When he battles he really gets into it you can really tell if he going all out when you see a flare in his eyes.

Jade tends to pick up if his friends are troubled or if they have a problem, and he will try to cheer up his friends by any means necessary. Even if it means acting as a fool in front of a crowd of people, he will do anything to see his friends happy. He is also kinda sensitive and takes things personaly sometimes, when that happens he tends to be very silent and will barely talk. But other than that Jade is an all around good guy, but he can be a bit air headed when he's goofing off.

History: Jade was born and raised in Sootopolis City of the Hoen region. His Father was always away on business leaves traveling throughout the whole Hoen region as a pokemon researcher, so that left Jade with just his mother and his older brother. But it never really bothered Jade that his father was gone, to him his brother was more of a father figure he always told Jade right from wrong at an early age and not mention he tought Jade about pokemon. His brother was a very excellent pokemon trainer he beat just about everyone in Sootopolis, he even came close to beating Wallace the gym leader once, so as a kid learning constantly from his brother he had learned a great deal about pokemon. His brother also taught him to always love and care for your pokemon. He fondly remembers him and his brother sneaking out at night to play with the water pokemon that lived around them. So at the early age of five he already knew that he wanted to be a pokemon trainer.

The one thing that Jade had that his brother didn't was the dream of leaving Sootopolis to explore the Hoen region, to discover the new kinds of pokemon in the outside world and to become a great pokemon trainer. At the age of thirteen against the will of his brother and mother, he left the city to explore the Hoen region and to challenge the gyms. But before he left his brother handed him a small key pendant telling Jade not to forget where he came from and to always remember what he had been taught. After three years of traveling. exploring, and battling gyms in the Hoen region, he overheard people talking about a region with a new league who needed a champion. The Argeth region sounded very interesting to Jade he wanted to explore more of the world and this was the perfect opportunity to do just that. He then decided to travel to this new region to defeat this new league and to further his knowledge of the pokemon world. He went back to Sootopolis to leave all his pokemon with his family, so he could have a fresh start in Argeth. After a few nights of staying and catching up with his family, he left for littleroot town to meet the famed Prof. Birch who was good friend of his Mother. His mother had told Prof. Birch of Jades new quest, and he was happy to help. Jade quickly arrived to littleroot town eager to pick up his new pokemon, he choose a mudkip since he is quite fond of water type pokemon. Now he waits in Slateport City waiting for the ship to take him to Argeth to start his new journey.

Name: Mike Nguyen (Yes I am making him Asian.)

Age: 16

Home Region and town: Petalburg City, Hoenn

Appearance: Mike has a slight, light brown, faux hawk. His eyes are green and his face is somewhat pointed. His teeth are straight after years of braces and a retainer. He prefers to wear a sweater vest with a t-shirt underneath. He wears simple jeans and wears vanz. His right ear is pierced with a golden hoop in it. He got it when he was in his first relationship with another man for the first time. Mike still wears it in the memory of the man he dated. He is five foot five and has a slim build.

Personality: Mike has a problem with his sexuality. He's gay and hasn't come out to his parents yet. He knows that they want a normal son who would marry a nice girl and have a family of his own. Mike doesn't want to ruin their hopes and expectations. All he wants is to be a normal son for them. He believes that he is somewhat of a freak especially when he is around his parents.

Mike is a quiet person, who finds it hard to project his voice and speaking loudly. He has taken speech therapy and has been to counseling to help him speak more loudly and confidently and to break his quiet nature. He isn't too open with strangers, but quickly opens up after a little time. From when he was very young his love of Pokemon encouraged him to try to speak louder so he could become a trainer since trainers needed to speak loudly. Now his volume and projection fluctuates, but it has been getting better.

At the end of day he writes in a diary that his parents gave him at the recommendation of his therapists. Whenever he finishes one diary he must send it back to his therapist and buy a new one. Also once every two months he is required to read lines out of a literature passage, that the therapist sends over, out loud to the therapist, his parents, or someone he knows.

He has trouble deciding what to do or what to pick because he has second thoughts. Mike also has trouble telling people (mostly adults) that he needs help, especially if he is sick. (He'll brush it off and tell people he is fine when he isn't.)

History: Mike was born to a father who was a psychologist and a mother who was a babysitter for people in town. He was born and raised in Petalburg City and just recently moved to the Argeth region. He went to speech therapy and counseling through the urging of his father because his father noticed that he had trouble speaking loudly and projecting his voice. While growing up he was exposed to Pokemon through his mother at her baby sitting jobs. He quickly fell in love with Pokemon and has aspired to be a Pokemon trainer since.

Also while growing up he noticed his growing attraction to men, he denied it for so long until he got into a relationship with another man. This man helped him to mostly embrace the fact that he was gay. They had a great time in their relationship together until the man had to move away. With this man's help he was able to open up and tell his friends that he was gay, but for so long he couldn't find the courage to tell his parents.

When he turned fifteen he moved to the Argeth region. He made a few friends, and his closest friends in this region know of his sexuality. He's now sixteen being sent on a Pokemon Journey and he hopes that his journey will help him build the confidence he needs to tell his parents that he's a gay man.
