Wow, we get two starter Pokémon, one from your friends, and one of the original trio from R/B/Y from the professor I'm extremely excited about that. A bit of originality!

The orirginal trio also have mega evolutions. You get a mega ring, to allow the Pokémon to use their mega stone.

Mega Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise look amazing! It's awesome how we are able to have two sets of starters. This was probably the highlight of the entire presentation.

I find it a bit dumb that all Venusaur got was a flower on it's head, and a bit of a birthmark, really boring Mega Evolution. Not much else announced today.
