Physical Appearance: Alex has light blue eyes with dark brown hair cut short, and white skin (no tan)
Physically, Alex is fairly average, standing at 5'8" and having a fairly skinny build, and very little muscle to show. On his left forearm, however, is a permanent burn mark left by a Houndoom's attack.

Apparel & Accessories: Alex wears a plain white short sleeved shirt with a sleeveless, hooded red jacket over it, with blue jeans and white trainers. His left arm is kept bandaged, and wears a black belt for his pokeballs.
Alex also usually wears a red bandanna with a black pokeball design on the front, and carries a black, single strapped bag to carry his items in.

Personality: Alex has a tendency to sound overconfident, and sometimes even condescending to opponents, although this to cover up his belief that his affliction would only bring pity from others, and prevent them from battling at their best against him. He can be friendly and respectful to anyone he sees as truly superior, and hates any insults to Normal type Pokemon.

History: From a young age, Alex was inspired by his home town's gym leader, Whitney, to master the Normal Type, seeing them as the most versatile (and therefore, most powerful) type. His starting Pokemon, Eevee, was initially the 'family pet' his upper class parents bought for him.
One day on holiday to Blackthorn City, Alex (now 12) and Eevee wandered south of Blackthorn to play in the area. There, he came across a girl being attacked by a Houndoom. Without thinking, Alex rushed forward and pushed the girl out of the way of an oncoming stream of fire, but his left arm was burned when he tried to evade. Eevee battled (poorly) against the Pokemon until the girl ran back to Blackthorn to alert others of the attack.
From what Alex remembers, the Houndoom was abandoned by its trainer and it had wandered various routes in Johto until the girl (who was named Lucy) accidentally rammed into it while running around. Due to the Houndoom's flames leaving a permament, painful burn, left his afraid of Houndoom's, and wary of other Fire types.
Two years after this, Alex became a trainer to master the Normal type, and overcome his fear, which he sees as a liability that only makes him weak. Year after year, Alex trained for the yearly tournaments, but was always eliminated. However, he progressed further each year, strengthening and catching new Pokemon around Johto (and later, Kanto) to use in the Indigo League. Finally, he won the Indigo League tournament, and was asked to become a Gym Leader for the Almia Region one month later.

Goals: Alex wishes to master the use of Normal Types, catching and training every single one, and overcome his fear of Houndoom's.

Gym Layout & Challenges: Alex keeps the design of the gym simple, with a simple white, square building as the gym's exterior, with a slanted grey roof.
Inside the building, is the entrance hall, which holds a 'Opponent' machine, where Alex's team is displayed on screen and the trainer chooses the two Pokemon he wishes to battle. The trainer presses a button on the machine, which releases a medium sized white ball with the picture of one of Alex's Pokemon. The trainer is randomly presented two of Alex's Pokemon to battle against.
The arena is in the next room. It's the largest room in the building, and the trainer is presented with three arena choices:
Normal - No obstacles.
Gale - A large gust of wind is blown from special fans on the roof, which affects lighter Pokemon's balance and may interfere with some attacks.
Aqua - The centre of the room has a trap door open which reveals a body of water for Pokemon to swim in. 70% of the floor is used by the water.

Badge: Blank Badge - A grey, pentagon shaped badge with a faint 'A.W.' insription in the centre.

Alex's Team:

1. Species - Eevee

Gender - Male

History - Alex's first Pokemon, originally his 'family pet'. He's the veteran of Alex's team, being around the longest. Eevee has the most victories under its belt, but also a high number of losses.


2. Species - Aipom

Gender - Male

History - Aipom was Alex's first capture, and is the second longest runner in Alex's team. In the wild, it was a bit of a prankster, stealing several of Alex's items and, after 'returning' them (As in, leaving them strewn around MooMoo farm) began following him around just to annoy him until Alex finally captured it. It still occasionally messes with others if left unattended.


3. Species - Ditto

Gender - None

History - This Pokemon was captured one year earlier. Alex noticed that this Pokemon seemed to have some problems transforming, (sometimes it couldn't use any attacks) and the Pokemon blames itself for Alex's defeat that year.


4. Species - Smeargle

Gender - Male

History - This Pokemon was captured just prior to Alex's journey to Almia, and his very little battle experience. Alex mainly uses this in his Gym line up to build up its list of attacks quickly.


5. Species - Miltank

Gender - Female

History - Alex caught this Pokemon two years after begining his career as a trainer, hoping to one day match Whitney's in strength (Before he left, he re-challenged Whitney his Miltank and barely lost against hers).


6. Species - Pidgeot

Gender - Female

History - Another long runner of Alex's team, Pidgeot provides Alex fast transport in the air, and is fairly decent in battle.

Physical Appearance:
Lucy is pretty short, at only 4'7", and is very lightweight. She has light green eyes with long black hair down to her lower back. She has white skin, which became slightly paler after moving to the colder Sinnoh region.

Apparel & Accessories:
Lucy wears a shirt with alternating green and viridian coloured horizontal stripes and a light green jacket over it. She wears pale green trousers and white shoes. She usually wears silver jewellery, consisting of various Pokemon designs. She carries a small yellow bag to carry items and various accessories.

Personality: Lucy is very shy around strangers, but among friends, she can seem a bit loud and sometimes deliberately says idiotic sounding things for no real reason. When she lived in Johto, she had no interest in Pokemon Battling, but an incident with a Houndoom left her with a desire to become a powerful trainer so no one will need to risk themselves to help her again.

History: When Lucy was 9, she had been playing around south of Blackthorn, when she accidentally ran head first into a Houndoom. Seeing this as a challenge, the Pokemon cornered the terrified girl and would have burned her if not for the intervention of Alex.
She had ran to the city, mostly just to escape from the Pokemon, but told her parents and Officer Jenny what had happened.
She felt too ashamed to visit the boy when he was being treated, and a month later, her family moved to Sinnoh, thinking there were much less dangerous Pokemon in the region.
While living in Veilstone, she befriended the young gym leader, Maylene, who gave her many battling tips (although Lucy decided forgoing food and shoes wasn't for her) and often let her use one of Maylene's Pokemon for battle practice.
When she was thirteen, Lucy decided she was ready to be a trainer, and her parents allowed her to travel to Twinleaf Town to receive a starter. Using a Machop borrowed from Maylene, Lucy made her way to Rowan's lab and chose Turtwig, and travelled around Sinnoh, slowly obtaining badges. She returned the Machop to Maylene on her first opportunity.
Lucy entered the Sinnoh League and was eliminated after three matches. After this, Lucy decided to travel to Hoenn for more training and a chance to expand on her team(right now, consisting of Grotle, Chatot, and a Bronzor) Here, she obtained the Hoenn badges and entered the Hoenn League. She faired slightly better here, making it to eighth place. After this, Lucy then travelled to Almia to take part in the new League challenge here.

History - Technically, Lucy's first Pokemon. This Pokemon is her main powerhouse Pokemon.

History - Lucy's was traded this Pokemon by a trainer for a Staravia she'd found previously. This Pokemon is used for generally annoying the opponent with its sound based attacks before moving in for a proper offensive.

3. Species - Bronzong

Gender - N/A

History - Lucy caught this as a Bronzor, mainly for defensive purposes. After it evolved, it sees extensive use as her team's 'shield', and can mount a decent offensive when necessary.

4. Species - Plusle

History - Lucy caught this mainly because it looked cute with its partner, Minun. Plusle is usually used in conjuction with Minun, and is the 'attacker' of the duo.

History - Caught with Plusle. Is often used in conjunction with Plusle, and is the 'supporter' of the duo.

No muscle, slight, delicate frame. Has a silver mark of Lugia's wing down her right arm. Small nose, small ears, nice, big pearly whites. Long-ish legs, arms tht reach halfway down her theighs, small hands and feet.

Apparel and Accesories:
She wears a light violet t-shirt, a pale blue jean skirt, and light green sandals. Chrome wears white, woolen fingerless gloves that reach to her elbows, and they have chrome stripes that reflect almost everything. She also wears a pale green baret that rests atop her head like an artist's. All of her nails are painted a silvery violet, and has small silver earrings in the shape of tornadoes.

Personality: Chrome is very uplifting. She can raise even the lowest of faces like a Milotic. She is very cheery and supportive. But there is also a serious side. She can see through people, tell if they're lying. She herself is very honest, and really doesn't like it when people lie to her. She is careless and loses things quite easily. She can't see things that are in plain sight and can be careless and lazy. Chrome can be shy with people that she is uncomfortable with.

History: Chrome was born in Hearthome City to the upper-class, but not snobby Sophias, and was the sister of two little sisters(Gen, currently 7, Linda, currently 11) and two big brothers(Helson, currenly 15, Leon, currently 17). She was the smartest of the family, with her IQ reaching an incredible 78 at the age of 5. She, at the age of seven, thought Pokemon were the coolest thing ever and she had received her first Pokemon at the age of eight: a Togepi. Chrome had loved her whole family, but also resented them for not treating her siblings as well as her. At the age of eleven, she finally snapped. She took enough money, her Togepi, and some clothes and supplies. And then she ran away from home. She ran to the airport, and bought a plane ticket to Johto, where her aunt and uncle lived, and has lived there for the past three years. Last year, Chrome had entered the Luege challenge. She was actually one of the top ten, and that was for her dedicated team: Togetic, Swellow, Skarmory, Xatu, Absol and Altaria. She was the first to make it to the Champion of Johto, Lance the Dragon Tamer. Her whole team played an equal part in defeating him, each Pokemon one-on-one. Chrome is still praised for her victory today.

Chrome has about 4 years of experience up her sleeve, and is very skilled in the art of battle. She has trained with Gary of the Viridian City Gym, Clair of the Blackthorn City Gym, Juan of the Sootopolis City Gym, and Volkner of the Sunnyshore City Gym. She may know how to handle any situation in battle, but that won't stop her from losing once in a while. She has beaten all 32 old Gyms, and because of that her Pokemon are exeedingly strong. She is more of a strategic girl rather than to "go with the flow". She is very passionate about what she does, and she wouldn't let anyone take that away with just one little loss.

Chrome has recently applied for the Almia Luege and made it. She was picked for her upbeat and reasurring attitude, which allows her to befriend many Pokemon quite easily. She is currently travelling to Pueltown to take her position as Flying-Type Gym Leader.

Starter: Violet the Togepi

Gym Exterior: The gym is a giant transparent dome. Above the door is a silver plaqe that reads: "The Wind is Transparent and so are my Walls."

Gym Layout: Chrome's Gym has air vents all around the floor. The air flowing out is the strongest in the world, so that the Gym is like a zero-gravity environment. Each Gym Trainee has their own platform, and each time you get to a platform, the air flow strengthens until, after the challenger has beaten all of the Trainees, they will be able to float up to Chrome's platform.

Badge: The Gym badge is called the Twster Badge. It is, in fact, in the form of a tornadoe, exactly the same as Chrome's earrings.

Type: Flying (except for her Absol; you'll learn later)

Winning Reward: To all those who have beten her, she teaches one of their Pokemon Twister. To those that have proved to be extraordinary, she also teches them how to befriend Pokemon the way that she does. Note: This is not a special ability. This is just because of her friendly demeanor.

History: Violet was given to Chrome as a Togepi. She was hatched on Cianwood City, and while she was there with Chrome on a trip to visit Chrome's friend, she was allowed to go to her breeding center. She got a chance to reunite with her parents and her many siblings. She is Chrome's closest companion.

History: Navory is the only non-flying type that Chrome owns. She was given to Chrome as an egg by one of her friends as she was leaving Hearthome City. She was the baby of the team until Silver came along.

History: Silver was a baby when she was found. She was on the street, cold and partially rusted. Chrome tried to befriend her, but Silver was intent on waiting for her family. Eventually she was befriended as she was pushed out of the way of an oncoming truck. She is still the baby, only reaching 3'1". She is loyal and true to her team.

Nickname: Corey=Core=Middle=Middle of the Ruins(it's where she was found).

History: Corey was a little Natu when she was caught in the Ruins of Alph. She was jumping from ruin to ruin. She saw the concerned look in Chrome's eye and immideatly came down and nuged herself into an empty pokeball.

History: When Chrome was flying on Corey once, she found a Swablu diguised in the clouds. She immideatly threw her pokeball, and Drachea was caught.

History: Skyrie is the most recent addition to the team. She is also the second youngest, but she is loyal, loving and caring. She was found while moving through Mt. Silver.

He wears a deep purple t-shirt that has the smile of a Dusknoir's stomach, and a caption sayng: "beeyonde yuur compreehenshun." On the back is the Dusknoir's smile of its back. Leon wears dark navy blue jean shorts, black flip flops and a white baseball cap with the antennea of a Dusknoir drawn on the bill. He also wears black leather fingerless gloves and a necklace with a luminous orb on it.

Personality:
Leon is an opposite kind of guy. He cand be serious, he can be laid back. He can be careless one minute and make sure everything's okey-dokey the next. His mood depends on the Pokemon that he last spent time with; he's their nature until he spends time with someone else. So he's very unpredictable.

History:
Leon was the firstborn of five children, two boys(himself, currently 17, little brother, Helson, 15), and three girls(Chrome, 14, Linda, 11, and Gen, 7). He was born in Hearthome City, Sinnoh, into the upper-class, non-snobby Sophias, and as a rich little boy, he got everything he always wanted. When he was eight, he recieved his first Pokemon: a Likitung. He has loved this kind creature ever since. He was sort of jealous of Chrome, as she was the smartest, therefor getting the most attention. But he was the second smartest, and when Chrome left, he was the saddest of them all. So sad that he had decided to move out and live alone. He moved to Mossdeep City, Hoenn because of his fascination of the Psy powers of Ghost and Psychic types. He has won the Sinnoh Luege once and the Hoenn Luege once, qualifying him to be one of the new Elite four.

His experience of an amazing seven years has lead to a fully evolved team and extremely powerful Pokemon, matching the power of his sister, Chrome(no one knows her whereabouts or howabouts, though.) He is currently on his way to the Almia region, to take his rightful place as second member of the E4.

Physical Appearance: About 5'6" in height, jet brown hair that looks black indoors, coffee brown in sunlight. Hazel-gray eyes, light, fair skin. Soft cheek bones with a strong jaw line, long limbs making him only appear taller than he is.​

Apparel & Accessories: can usually be seen wearing long sleeved sweaters, hoodies, and shirts. Sometimes the sleeves will be rolled up. His most common outfit is his dirt-gravel-brown khaki pants, black shoes, lemon-yellow v-neck shirt, and his light gray hoodie with a white heart-shaped seashell pendant necklace. For official league matches, he'll wear his favorite black vest with a white stitched heart on the back, white long sleeve dress shirts, slim black dress slacks, and black dress shoes. He is always seen with a pair on sunglasses either on his head, on in front of his eyes due to having light-sensitive eyesight. The sun is decently blocked from a special custom pair.​

Personality: Dustin is a very humble person. He believes in pure equality as well as love being the most powerful weapon. He loves to smile and loves seeing others be happy, even when in depressing situations. He is respectful of others, no matter how disrespectful they may be to him. He is loving to all, as well as nurturing. He can also be a little "mom like" at times.​

History: Dustin started his journey rather early. His "first" Pokémon, Magikarp, was a birthday gift from his grandfather for his seventh birthday. Throughout his years in school, he and his Magikarp endured the tormenting and taunting of other kids, who had the more "fancy" Pokémon. In Junior High, he and his Magikarp were jumped by a few other students. They attacked and won with Pokémon like Pikachu, Lairon, and a Kirlia. Magikarp evolved during the fight, to defend its honor, and to protect its friend, Dustin. After the match, Gyarados and Dustin became even closer. Years went on and Dustin officially received his Pokémon fro Prof. Rowan, leading Pokémon researcher of Sinnoh, but instead gave his new Starter to his mother, for protection (she now owns it, and has since evolved). He went on his own journey when he was just 15 years old. He headed first to Hearthome City, since it was the closest Gym. On the way, he met a hiker who happily gave away an egg his Pokémon laid. The egg a few days before Dustin's Gym match with Fantina, hatched, into a bright pink baby Happiny. Dustin remembered his mother had given him a TM before he left, from when she was a trainer, and taught Happiny a new move, Shock Wave. He won his badge by defeating Fantina with Gyarados and Happiny, and continued on towards Oreburgh Town. About 6 months later, Dustin had collected seven badges, and six Pokémon. A Hariyama that he befriended at his old karate teacher's dojo, a Weavile he caught on Route 217, a Kirlia (now a Gardevoir) that he caught in Route 208, and a Rhyhorn (now a Rhyperior) he found during a trip across the mountains. Another six months later, all eight Sinnoh Badges in possession, he challenged the Pokémon League Championship, and then challenged the Elite Four and the Champion. Long months passed as he won his challenges. Each month he trained almost 24/7, readying his Pokémon for the most difficult battles yet. Finally, he had defeated the Sinnoh League Champion, and took his place as the new Champ. Finally, after years of chasing, he was the Champ. Just one month after his victory, he received a letter inviting him to become a member of the Gym Leader in an entirely new Region. The letter stated that his humility in his strengths, his utilization of his and his opponent's skills, and his love for people and Pokémon alike had alone nominated him to become Gym Leader member. Dustin gave it a week to stew around in his head, and finally accepted the letter. He packed his belonging, and moved to the new Region, eager to see the growth of younger and beginning trainers everywhere.​

Goals: Dustin hopes to always see growth in other trainers and Pokémon, as well as teach people the importance of humility and love.​

Gym Design: Ivory walls, marble columns, and golden drapes. Dustin's gym is the definition of elegant. The Gym's main lobby is littered with stained glass windows, marble tiles, and a giant fountain in the center, ordained with a Gyarados statue in the center. The Gym's out design resembles that of a castle fit for the angels with pure white bricks, gold brick rooftops, a moat and a castle's bridge to wrap in the tacky, extravagant design. The battle field is located in the center of the castle/gym. An open field rich with luscious green grass, vibrant flowers, and small Pokémon playing in the field, and white walls surrounding the open field decorates the center yard. Dustin, being the only trainer and the only need is to have a ready party of Pokémon. Within the gym contains a Pokémon center, beds for guests (free of charge of course), a restaurant, and a library for research and pleasure.

As she has studied martial arts, she does have a lot of muscles that are firm, but "natural" looking.

Apparel & Accessories: Miharu wears a dark blue t-shirt and black shorts in the late spring, summer, and early fall but in the winter, early spring, and late fall she wears a white long sleeve shirt and long, black pants that are restricting. Her nails are painted both black and blue and she wears a light blue pendent in the shape of the Japanese symbol of strength on a silver chain.

Personality: Miharu is cold and sometimes apathetic to everything and everyone around her. She is known as a pessimistic person, but every time she makes a prediction of something going wrong, it is usually right. (Though she's not physic) Miharu usually uses sarcasm to get her point across, though no one's never really figured out when she uses sarcasm or not as she says sarcasm the same way she says everything else. She can also curse like a sailor and is very prone to use violence to get her point across. She doesn't trust very easily and is very observant to her surroundings. She loves pokemon though, and will get pissed if you ever hurt a pokemon in her presence or if she finds out. Also, she is very claustrophobic but she has learned to push it down, not forgotten, but seemingly not there.​

History: Miharu was found on Prof. Oak's doorstep when she was a year old with a light blue pendent in the shape of the Japanese symbol of strength on a silver chain. As Prof. Oak felt that he couldn't take care of three grandchildren, he had entrusted her to one of the neighbors that he knew that would take her in as one of her own. She lived a good life with her surrogate mother and father, however that soon ended when a serial killer had came into the house and tried to kill Miharu. He had barely missed her heart, though thinking that he killed her, he left leaving her to die. Thankfully, Prof. Oak had came to visit her and saw Miharu, then proceeded to call an ambulance. From then on, she swore that she wouldn't let herself be hurt like that again and began to not trust people except for Prof. Oak and her surrogate mother and father. Then she left for her pokemon journey and had gotten an Eevee. She quickly rose through the ranks and had beaten all of the gyms. She had made it into the pokemon league and managed to get fourth place, almost able to battle to defeat the Elite Four, but didn't make it. She left to Hoenn and Sinnoh for two years before coming back to Pallet Town and staying there for a year. She then saw a commercial for the Almia league and had decided to try her luck again... Her family's class was in the middle class and she first got interested in pokemon when she had saw Prof. Oak nurture and take of other trainers's pokemon. She was home-schooled.

Goals: Miharu wants to find out who her parents are and wants to become a pokemon league champion.

Jolteon (Female)
History: Jolteon was her first pokemon ever since she was an Eevee. Miharu had gotten her hands on three of the evolution stones and had asked Eevee if she wanted to evolve or not. Eevee chirped yes in response and had touched the thunder stone.

Dragonite (Male)
History: Dragonite was her second pokemon as she had found a hurt dratini in the Viridian Forest when a poacher tried to capture him and he had escaped. As she caught him and the poacher didn't know, the poacher gave up and dratini went with Miharu on her pokemon journey.

Gyarados (Male)
History: Gyarados was her third pokemon as she had fished in the ocean and had managed to pull up a rabid Gyarados. After sending her Dragonair and it fell in battle, she had sent her Jolteon and had managed to defeat and capture it. Gyarados calmed down after being captured.

Salamance (Male)
History: While traveling to Hoenn for a one-year training trip, she had managed to stumble onto a cave in which held flocks of Bagons, Shelgons, and the leader a Salamance. As they felt that she was intruding on their territory, Salamance had begun to attack her without warning. Dragonite, as they are fiercely loyal to their trainers, came out and defeated Salamance in one attack. As soon as Salamance fell down, Miharu returned Dragonite and ran away from the cave. A hour later, Salamance had came to Miharu and wanted to travel with her.

Gallade (Male)
History: While traveling though Hoenn for a one-year training trip, she had found and captured a male Ralts and had trained it up to a Kirlia. However, she had traveled to Sinnoh for one year before Kirlia could evolve to a Gardevoir without knowing the second option. Kirlia had seen a very powerful Gallade in action and had wanted to be one. Miharu had managed to stumble onto a Dawn Stone (literally) and evolve Kirlia into Gallade.

Spiritomb (Male)
History: While traveling in Sinnoh for a year, she had seen a tower and had studied it (It helps when you've had a grandfather for a professor) and deduced that she had to meet 31 people and have a special key in order to unlock it. She had counted how many people she's meet on her journey and had concluded that she's already reached her quota of 31 (even though most of these people involved people who just wanted to battle her) and had set out looking for the key. She had managed to find it in a tree in TwinLeaf Town and locked the tower in which held Spiritomb and had battled and captured it.

Physical Appearance: Maxulus' eyes are green. His skin is white (no tan). His hair color was normally black but since he was 10 years old , they began getting white and they are completely white now. He is medium sized and thin. His muscles are normal.



Apparel & Accessories: Maxulus is seen wearing two types of clothes: Casual Clothes and a Suit. However , they share something common: They are white.
The casual clothes consist of a white shirt , white jeans , white trainers and white wristbands. In the middle of the shirt the words "NJ" are written for a reason that he never revealed to anyone. These clothes are worn whenever Maxulus is traveling.
The suit is like an ordinary suit and is only used in official battles.



Personality: Maxulus is usually a cheerful person. He enjoys traveling and meeting new people. He does not hesitate to talk to anyone , no matter who is the one he is talking to , but he shows the appropriate respect. He enjoys listening to music , and watching movies , but he almost never has enough time to do that , as he concentrates on his journey. He can be stubborn sometimes , and if anyone is in danger he will try and help.
However , when he is battling his cheerful personality changes to that of a serious person. He gives everything he has got in battles and does whatever he can to win. He likes fair battles and he does not cheat. He does not like getting distracted during a battle , but if it is an emergency he is willing to stop the battle to see what is going on.



History: Maxulus was once a kid that was not interested in pokemon battles. He never watched a pokemon battle until he was ten years old , no matter how much his parents tried to convince him to do so. He only liked hanging out with his friends and meeting new people. During that time , he had a crush on a young Nurse Joy and she had a crush on him as well. Several years later , when Maxulus was almost fifteen years old , he was searching for a book of his. However , what he found was an album with the photos of his family: It looked like his father and his grandfather were well-known top trainers. Since then , he was sad. He could not believe that he was the one who would stop the family tradition. He soon began getting interested in pokemon battles and had already thought of battling strategies , if he ever had the chance to travel as a new trainer. But , his Nurse Joy friend understood that something was wrong. After asking him what was happening , he said the truth. Nurse Joy told him that he should do as he wishes and that she would be waiting for him to come back as a top trainer. These words were what made Maxulus take his decision. He was determined to become a great trainer and begin his journey. After he told his parents , he prepared himself to go and after saying farewell to his relatives , his friends and to Nurse Joy , he departed from his home for his journey.
In the begining of the journey , Maxulus met with Celio. Celio was really glad to see a young trainer that came from the island , after a long time and so he said that he would help him with his journey and so he did. Celio asked a friend of his to send him a Porygon and he gave it to Maxulus so that he could begin battling. Then , Maxulus departed from One Island and headed towards Johto. There , after having some epic battles with the Gym Leaders he managed to get all of his badges , but he lost at his very first battle at the League after a long battle.
He also seemed to possess a record in double battles; he never lost one.



Goals: Maxulus' goal is to become a top pokemon trainer just like his father and his grandfather.

Species: Porygon Z
Gender: Genderless
Ability: Adaptability
History: When Maxulus began his journey , he did not even have any pokemon. However , after he met with Celio , he was given a Porygon. Since then , Porygon became Maxulus' pal and helped him win a lot of Gym Battles. During Maxulus' battle with Jasmine , it was very difficult for him to hold his own and Maxulus lost. However , after he contacted Celio , he was given an Up-Grade for Porygon so that he would evolve. Porygon agreed to evolve and he quickly defeated Jasmine's pokemon. Then , he barely managed to win his battle in the Blackthorn Gym and later he lost to the first round of the League. After that , he agreed to evolve with the help of a Dubious Disk that Celio sent to Maxulus so that the other pokemon would not have a chance against him after his trainer decided to head to Almia.



Species: Shuckle
Gender: Male
Ability: Sturdy
History: Shuckle is the first pokemon that Maxulus caught in his journey. After he arrived to Olivine City and so that the Gym is closed for a while , he decided to get to Violet City and return for his battle. While going there , he met an abbandoned and injured Shuckle. Shuckle was released by its trainer and was heading towards the Dark Tunnel where he was born , however he was injured by some wild pokemon. Maxulus immediately grabbed Shuckle and took it at a pokemon center that was nearby. There , the pokemon was healed. The young trainer was about to say goodbye to Shuckle , but Shuckle began following him and was eventually caught.



Species: Scizor
Gender: Male
Ability: Technician
History: Scizor is the youngest pokemon in Maxulus' team. Right after he was born , the other Scythers abbandoned him because his size was smaller than theirs and he was supposed to be the weakest of their team. That made him hate the other Scythers. Right after he was abbandoned though , he was found and caught by Maxulus. Scizor seemed to have tendacies to hit himself as he was a Scyther as well , at that time. Maxulus quickly understood what the reason was and asked Celio how he could make Scyther evolve so that he would not hate himself and he sent him a Metal Coat. Since then , Scizor became a vital part of Maxulus' team and manages to hold his own in many battles despite his young age.

Ability: Speed Boost
History: Ninjask is one of the main pokemon that Maxulus uses. Despite the fact that in the begining it was unable to do a lot of damage to his opponents , its Batton Pass attack seemed to help the whole team. However , after the Pokemon League in Johto , he trained a lot and is very strong right now. He is one of the two pokemon in Maxulus' team that are called "Invincible Two".

Ability: Speed Boost
History: Yanmega was caught as a Yanma and was the main reason that Ninjask decided to follow Maxulus and become stronger. After she met with Ninjask , Ninjask fell in love with her and joined the team. She is the other pokemon of the "Invincible Two". Along with Ninjask , she never lost a double battle and helped Maxulus have his record at double battles. After the Pokemon League in Johto , Maxulus sent her to Celio to recover after an injury she had during the battle. She seems to be fine now but Celio asked if he could borrow her for a while as he was going to travel far away and he would need a pokemon to accompany him.

History : Kurtis didn't start his pokemon journey until he was 14, his first pokemon was
a Starly given to him at the age of 4 on his birthday, his second pokemon was given to him
by his father a ralts the day Kurtis received the pokemon it was still in it's egg.
The day kurtis started his journey was the day his ralts hatched... so Kurt beleived that
his ralts brought him good luck, His third pokemon Aggron he met at his 3th gym battle
the aggron was a stubborn aron who refused to go along with it's original trainer because
the lack of adventure so Kurtis decided to take it of their hands his other 3 pokemon
Infernape, Cradily and Rampardos were met during his travels in sinnoh were he found the
injured monferno and cared for it, and he was given cranidos' fossil by Roark, when he
traveled sinnoh, cradily was met as a lileep, Lileep had ran away from it's original trainer
and not even kurtis knew who it was... Kurtis befriended Lileep and traveled with it.
After beating the Kanto&Johto League's he was given the oppurtinity to be the new gym leader
of Kanto he mulled it over for a long time and after a month Declined because he wanted to
travel Hoenn and Beat the sinnoh League, When he got back from hoenn after beating the
league he got the oppotunity again and said he would think about it during the sinnoh
league, after losing the sinnoh league he decided to decline again and train, so he could
one day defeat the sinnoh league.


Goals : He Hopes to finally defeat the sinnoh league so he can finally focus on training for the Isshu region

Battle Style : Kurt's pokemon have mainly attacking moves, Although his Cradily and Aggron act as
walls sometimes. He has tricks up his sleeve for the people who think they can win all the time!.


Pokemon Backstory's :

Staraptor : Staraptor was Kurt's starter pokemon he received it on his 4th birthday as a baby starly, Starly evolved into staravia
when Kurt was 7, it evolved when Kurt was being picked on by a bunch of 12 years old's, the evolution brought staravia the move
brave bird early, Staravia's ability to learn move's early made a first class fighter on Kurt's team, when Kurt battled the 6th gym leader another shock came to kurt when he found out that his staravia could no longer evolve, kurt was offered an opportunity to evolve his staravia, the throw back was that staravia had to give up power... when it did evolve into staraptor, the Bird's determination was so overwhelming it's power was in full tact since then staraptor has been the strongest pokemon on Kurt's team.

Gallade : Gallade was the former ralts that had hatched from the egg his dad had given to him, when ralts first evolved Kurt noticed that Ralts already knew Psychic, Confuse Ray and shadow sneak... however it had to control of these power's in battle when it evolved into Kirlia during a dance competition held in hearthome city, it had full control over them Kurt was awarded a Dawn stone for placing in the competition and immediately Evolved Kirlia into gallade. Gallade learnt Close combat and Ice punch up on evolving, which had gotten Kurt many wins. Gallade is never inside of it's pokeball and is seen traveling alongside Kurt..

Kurt offered to take the Aron along with him but Aron refused at first... after Kurt saved Aron and It's trainer from a Fire aron came to trust Kurt and thus they travelled together, Aron evolved into Lairon whilst Battling a random trainer on the way to Johto... Lairon then later on evolved into Aggron during the Johto league, Aggron is no longer stubborn as it was when it was an aron.

Adam is a very serious-looking individual. He has a stern look on his face, accentuated by his rather bushy eyebrows and several small scars throughout his face. His eyes are dark brown of color, his natural skin color is brown, and thus he rarely ever gets burnt, simply getting slightly lighter or darker-skinned depending on the amount of time he spends under the Sun. His hair is completely black, and straight, and he has it fashioned in a fauxhawk with the back stretching into a small mullet. He stands at 5'10" tall, and weighs 185 pounds, and has an amazing physique; he possesses a very lean muscle build, thick shoulders and a thin waist, and has rather buff shoulders, chest, biceps and legs.​

Apparel & Accessories:

Adam is pretty casual in his attires, especially since he lives in almost complete isolation from society. When you reach his Gym, he will most likely be wearing very scarce clothing; soccer shorts, a white shirt, and flip-flops probably… as he sits open-legged and watching his wind-powered TV. However, he always wears his rosary for a Pokémon battle however, and whenever he goes to town, he does dress less casually, and wears jeans, dress shirts, leather shoes, his rosary, not to mention, he'll actually have made his hair.​

Personality:

Adam is a rather quiet person, keeping to himself most of the time, being like this is what kept him out of trouble during his childhood, as opposed to his brothers' generally loud and obnoxious personas. This aspect of himself also gives him a very serious, and stern aura, which can be very intimidating to other people. However, he is truly just a very shy and introverted person. He also speaks in a very quiet tone, but because of his intimidating way of carrying himself, this more than anything compels people to pay attention to him. Adam is a person of deep thoughts, and holds respect towards the earth at the highest priority in values.​

History:

Adam was born in the slums of Pewter City, in a large family with three brothers (one older, two younger), and two sisters (one younger, one older). Thus, his dad had a lot of trouble sustaining the family, and all children were pushed to excel at one area or another of Pokémon training… the fastest way to get rich is through fame, after all. Adam, like the rest of his siblings, was instructed in Pokémon training and homeschooled by a mysterious friend of their father who claimed to have been a powerful trainer in the past, while their general schooling was left without much attention.

As time passed, each of the siblings began to leave in order to pursue their parents' ambition to become famous Pokémon trainers. First, Adam's oldest brother, Jesus left for his journey, Adam's older sister, Maria, left afterwards along with their youngest sibling, Eva, and Adam left shortly thereafter, followed by Cain (the older of Adam's two younger twin brothers). Each sibling had the intention of becoming famous, the intention of returning home with a home and power to give their parents, except for the youngest of the males in the family, Abel, who headed to Pallet Town in order to become a Lab Assistant.

When Adam had left home, a year had passed since Jesus left in his first season as a trainer, and he'd come back with seven badges; one short of the required to enter the Pokémon League. Although no one said anything regarding this, it was clear that he had failed his mission. That year, both of his sisters also left to become coordinators, and he went on his first journey across Kanto. During this journey, he managed to catch two Nidorans fairly early on, who both evolved into their Nidorino and Nidorina stages, and along with his starter, a Sandshrew evolved into Sanslash. Although Adam managed to collect all eight badges, he was unable to progress in the League Finals.

It would be next year, when after catching an Onix, and receiving a mysterious egg, Adam made his way to the final of the Indigo League, where he would face off against the man everyone regarded to be a true genius and the favorite to win the tournament… Cain Soto, his younger brother. After an intense battle, it was Raspberry's strength that would allow Adam to beat his brother and win the tournament.

After becoming the champion of Kanto and Hoenn, Adam, famous for using only Ground-type Pokémon, was offered a job as the Viridian City Gym Leader, post which he occupied for a mere two weeks before resigning and instead travelling to Hoenn, where he would repeat the honor of becoming champion. Eventually, he went into isolation for half a year in Mt. Silver, having found a passion for digging and meditation, before his brother, Abel, contacted him with news of the Almia League's implementation and their intent to make him a Gym Leader, to which he accepted only because it was a request from his brother.

Goals:

When Adam was growing up in the Pewter City slums, he wanted to be the very best Pokémon trainer in the world… dream which he accomplished by winning the Indigo League on his second try ever.
After becoming the Ground-type Gym Leader of Viridian City, Adam read previous leader Giovanni's book, "Mysteries of the Earth", and preferred to resign in order to pursue yet another dream… although he's never mentioned it to anybody​

Starter: Sandshrew

Gym Layout & Challenges:

Unlike most Gyms, Adam's Ground-type Gym isn't really something you could compare to the standard, seeing how it isn't even inside a building. Instead, Adam makes a home to his Gym in a vast desert area to the outskirts of a small town (SE of the map?).

Here, the natural terrain is a barrier that will prevent most trainers from entering, and those who wish to challenge him must venture into the desert, guided by nothing but four pillars, which when connected by an imaginary line mark the perimeter of the area which makes home for the Ground Gym. At the very farthest corner of this desert area, is a barely visible tunnel that is placed on the back of the furthest pillar. This tunnel is not lit, and thus, trainers must be able to depend on their Pokémon to transverse its length.

After emerging from the underground tunnel, the trainer will emerge in-between a mountain formation (not previously visible), in which's center is an oasis, with intricate ruins. There is a small hut in the middle of the oasis, and several electrical cables visibly run towards it (if you check, you'll notice that the cables are connected to windmills up on the mountaintops). Congratulations, you've reached Adam's house, where you will battle Almia's Ground–type Gym Leader.​

Badge: Gaia Badge; it is a circular blue colored badge.

Nature: Adamant; Lettuce is a very strong-willed Pokémon. Although he is still a baby, and inexperienced, it has shown incredible resilience and willpower to survive by his own strength. He is probably the most violent of Adam's Pokémon, bar Raspberry.
History: Lettuce was born from an egg that Adam found up in Mt. Silver (how it got there is a mystery), and Adam has come to the conclusion that he'll train the Pokémon to its utmost potential due to Lettuce's strong will.

Adam also has a vast array of Fossil Pokémon, although he doesn't use them in Gym battles.

Also, you will be able to catch Pokemon, but seeing the region is the basis of a Pokemon Ranger game, it's gonna take some time for me to think up which Pokemon would go where. If anyone is traveling to a specific area and wants to catch some new team members, then they should message me, and I'll think of some Pokemon I think would be fair to catch after considering the geography. ;) ...and Rattata's will be everywhere. XD

Fish: You still need to add in the Year's Champ part so I know where to place you in it before you're officially approved. To refrence availible spots, the RP's first post has a section called "League Champions" to reflect taken positions. You might have to tweak your character's timeline a little bit

Tuxedo Clank's character is still pending as the final member of the Elite Four, as we've been tweaking it slightly to try to make it fit into the timeline and match the RP's standards. Godzil's character is likewise pending for the final Gym member. Since these reservations fill up the Elite Four members, and Godzil's character would be the sixth Gym Leader, sign ups for Gym Leaders and Elite Four members are closed. (Oh, btw, I changed it from five Gym Leaders to six, bringing the total GL/EF's up to 10 instead of 9)

With this in mind, Dragonomega, I can't accept your character as a GL, and I'm terribly sorry. :(

jcogg: It's just an opening ceremony. Bunch of speeches and that kind of boring crap. I might add in some fireworks to make it a bit interesting. I might add in some goodie bags if you're all good. :P

First, a trainer.


Name: Sylvia "Sil" Blakeslee

Age: 16

Trainer Class: Trainer

Blood Type: O positive.

Ethnicity: Scottish on mother's side, German on father's side.

Favorite Color: Purple.

Birthplace & Hometown/Region: Violet City, Johto.

Physical Appearance: Sylvia is a short girl, exactly four feet tall. She weighs about 114 lbs. She isn't very muscular, and is in fact alightly chubby. Her skin is pale, almost eggshell, and she rarely gets much sunlight, as she is an albino. She has red eyes and white hair. She wears it in a ponytail, and it falls over her right shoulder.

Apparel & Accessories: She dresses simply, in a white t-shirt and black jeans, with white running shoes. She wears black gloves and carries a red shoulder bag.

Personality: Sil is a very energetic girl, enjoying her life as she rushes headlong into it. She isn't very smart, and often fails to get jokes or insults. She is usually always smiling, and has never really felt anger or fear.

History: Sylvia was born in Violet City, raised in Sprout Tower and taught at Earl's Academy. Her parents were never around, leaving the Sages to raise her. At age ten she left for New Bark Town to recieve a starter Pokemon. Upon her arrival, the only one left was Totodile, who she was overjoyed to own. She returned to Violet City, living wih Totodile in the tower. At 14, the Sages tired of her living there without adapting the Sage lifestyle or training Totodile, so they kicked her out. She decided that she would take up the Trainer challenge, and headed out for the Gym.

After obtaining the eight Johto badges, she wandered for a while, eventually taking a train to Sinnoh. She obtained a Charmander from Prof. Oak after winning a local tournament in Eterna, and entered a Contest in Hearthome. Her Charmander won a Beauty ribbon, but Sylvia didn't care for Contests. After returning to Johto, she entered the Johto League, losing in the 4th round.

She then took a long vacation in the woods, living as a hermit and (sometimes) training her Pokemon. Now, returning at age 16, she has decided to travel again, seeing the report on the Almia League. She heads out with her starter, Big Al, and her two babies, Plissken and Sally.

Goals: Sil has never really had any goals in life, happy to mooch off of others and have fun. She enjoys raising her Pokemon, especially the babies. She plans to open a Day Care somewhere, but lacks the know-how or funds to accomplish this goal. If she were to button down and actually try, she could very easily excel at this profession.

Starter: Totodile.

-History: Big Al was rightly named. As a Totodile, he was only 2' tall, but his ego was easily twice that size. Always sure of himself and his power, he would rush headlong into any challenge. He also rushed headlong into a Pokeball. Given to Sylvia as her starter, she quickly discovered Al's skill and personality, using them to her advantage. His favorite game is carrying her in his massive jaws, and he rarely takes anything seriously.

-Ability: Shed Skin
-History: Plissken was given as an egg to Sylvia. She cared for the egg, and was startled to find an Ekans inside. While he was stand-offish at first, Sil had gradually earned Plissken's respect, if not his affection. Plissken was born knowing Poison Jab, and was able to defend himself with little help. He spends most his time alone, only appearing for meals and battles.

-Ability: Blaze
-History: Sylvia's newest Pokemon, Sally was a prize from a tournament. She is incredibly rare, as a shiny Charmander that knows Flamethrower. Having hatched shortly before being given to Sylvia, Sally views her as a mother, and is almost never far away. Sally enjoys Contests, and earned a Beauty ribbon in Sylvia's first ever Contest.

Physical Appearance:
Eye Color: Light Blue
Hair Color: Black
Skin Color: Olive Brown(was and is)
Hairstyle: Short spiky hair, full beard trimmed close to face.
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 150 lbs
Lightly muscled, thin frame, average elsewhere. Face partially obscured by beard and sunglasses, the rest of his body is hidden under his long clothes.

Apparel:
He wears black slacks, a black button-up shirt with long sleeves, soft grey shoes, grey socks, and a red tie. He wears large Solar Shield sunglasses (The kind that cover the sides of your eyes too).

Personality: Shino tends to be quiet at first, sizing up people and acting mysterious. He is actually rather energetic, and tends to be outspoken about things he likes. He will criticize people if they make mistakes or stupid choices, and will compliment and praise if they do well. He knows that appearances aren't important, and wants others to know this too. He gets a little overexcited during battles, letting his emotions get the better of him.

Background: Shino was born in Pastoria, growing up with his father and three mothers. His father was a sailor, and taught Shino to work for a living. His mothers taught him about Pokemon, medicine, and cooking.

His father brought him a Seviper from Hoenn, and he caught a Croagunk in the Great Marsh. On his 18th birthday, his father got him a job as a ship's cook. He snuck his Pokemon on board, training them and having them help with cooking. One day, the Captain got sick, and when they discovered he had brough poison Pokemon into the kitchen, he was fired. They dropped him off in Olivine City, leaving him to find his own way home.

While travelling through Johto, he came to rest in Violet City for a while. He met a young girl who had Pokemon of her own, and gave her an egg his Seviper had fathered. In return, she gave him a Bellsprout. Using his Bellsprout, he caught a pink Spinarak outside the city. After training and battling his Pokemon in the Gyms of Johto, he departed for the Johto League. His Spinarak evolved in the fourth round after defeating a young girl's Charmander, allowing him to defeat his next opponent with it's quick Shadow Sneak.

He was crowned Champion, and soon after retunred to Sinnoh. There he lived with his mothers, spending much of his time in the Marsh. Years later, he was offered a Gym Leader position in Almia. Believing that this would be his chance for redemption, he graciously accepted. His beloved poison types would no longer be shunned. Armed with his venomous friends and berries for medicines, he set off for Almia, taking the boat his father works on. How proud would he be...

Gym Layout & Challenges: The Gym is colored black, with a purple and white Pokeball on top. A small Croagunk statue stands near the entrance. Challengers must slog through thick mud to challenge the Leader, and the Gym is pitch black. Challengers are given a lantern to help navigate.

Badge: Venom Badge, a red fang resembling Seviper's.

Type: Poison type, and emphasis on the various strategies used by Dual-Type Pokemon.

Winning Reward: Shino gives those who defeat him a choice. He can teach one of their Pokemon one of the Elemental Fang moves (Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, or Poison Fang), or he can give them a Spinarak egg.
