  • Round one was finally over, and Dylan was just thinking about one thing - Anna. She was at the Spire right now, standing before the 'Visitor Portal', which led to the main arena, where the 16 portals were, where Dylan was standing in right now. Right now, it was about her turn to enter after waiting for hours at the visitor line, and when she does enter, she'll find herself in the Main Arena, with Dylan and the other Gold Tribe members staying together down there.

But he didn't know that, and he was worried about her. Even the visitors and the spectators were rather vicious-looking, and a small, young Buizel girl was bound to be bumped and pushed around. Thinking about it, Dylan worried even more, and he glanced around, trying to find a little Orange figure in the crowd, but he couldn't find any. "Where are you...?!" Dylan was teleported to an underground resting place, together with the others, but he wanted to see her. He wanted to see Anna.

Just then, Rector and the other Keepers appeared at the middle of the Arena, and the large Aerodactyl raised his wings, ready for another announcement. Curious, the Buizel turned, facing the host, interested in what he was about to say. Scanning the other contestants around him, he could see Kent about ten meters away from him, perking his ears, listening as well.

"Congratulations, combatants. Those who remain here have passed the first round, and are advancing to the second round! You are all tired, and must be hungry as well. All combatants that have advanced the round are now welcome to go below the arena. There, you will find a buffet of foods and drinks from all over the Continents, as well as rooms prepared where you may sleep and rest. There is also a healing center you may go to for anyone who has injuries or pain." The host announced, and Dylan frowned, looking around when he said 'those who remain'. The Main Arena wasn't as crowded as it was earlier, which meant there were a lot of casualties on the first round, and some were unfortunately out of the tournament. Soon, there will be less and less competitors standing here, and Dylan had no idea how long he could hold on for. The crowd exchanged glances, and some where whispering to each other, but then the Aerodactyl spoke again.

"Now listen to me, combatants. All of your rooms are closeby each other, which means that all of you will be next to each other. In the past that this Tournament has gone by, there have been a few...incidents of battling and killing. I should let you know that these are...looked down on by the Keepers and myself. The Keepers will escort you to the underground. We will see you all tomorrow, where we will begin ROUND TWO!"

The crowd cheered, and everyone rushed downstairs, heading towards the large underground city, and Dylan was forced to go along with them. it was really uncomfortable moving along with the crowd as he was squished in the middle. "My body's Orange! I'm colorful enough! So stop stepping on me!" Dylan wailed, growling as he ran forwards, trying to dodge those large heavy feet that were trying to crush his bones. Up front, he saw someone familiar, and the Gold Tribe member talked back.

"Hey little buddy, why don't we both explore a bit, eh?" Fallax spoke, walking closer to the Buizel. Smiling back, Dylan found it hard to decline his offer. After all, he could protect him, and he could do it pretty well. But then, looking at the arena behind him, he had a feeling that Anna's near. And he could almost see her. Looking at Fallax, he shook his head, "I-I'm sorry. I'm waiting for someone....I'll have to stay at the arena for now. You can follow if you want though."

Seeing a large rectangular pillar up front, Dylan dashed towards it and hid behind it, watching as the crowd stampeded through the underground city. And after a while, when the coast was clear, and everyone was gone, Dylan turned back and ran towards the arena, then jumped onto the stands, running from row to row. Some were sleeping there to save their seats, and some were leaving to the portal leading back to Abel so they could go home.

    "Where are you Anna?!"

  • Genevieve Demetrius
    Gold Tribe

Genevieve watched the Regigigas go into a portal as she listened to Kent. What are they up to? Do they possibly have enough members to try a comeback? That's not possible....Isn't it? Genevieve's thoughts were interrupted by Kent cutting off his sentence. She watched the Blazekin fall forward and Kent catch him before he hit the ground. It was too fast for anybody else to have done anything. No matter what anybody said, Kent was a born leader. He'd grown from when Genevieve had first meet him during the war. The wartime brought good and bad memories, but both made her happy and sad. It was hard to explain.

Later, a Keeper came up to Kent, telling him round one was over. Finally. Genevieve thought. She had withstood the poison this long, which was a good surprise. But she didn't want to push it. Her whole body ached and her mind was a little fuzzy, but Genevieve was still able to think clearly. But that probably wouldn't last much longer. Genevieve followed the rest of the Gold Tribe back to the arena and listened to Rector. Underground? Genevieve thought following the rest of the fighters down to where they'd be rested for the night. She hadn't expected them to have a place for them. Why keep the fighters together when fighting down here is 'looked down on'? The way Rector had said it chilled her to the bone. If its happened already then its most likely going to happen again. And it wasn't a rule, so they probably don't do anything to the survivor.

Genevieve pushed her thoughts away and looked at the small town unfolding in front of her. It probably could fit half of the people in the city in it. She looked around for the other members of the Gold Tribe. She seen the excitable young Buizel run back up towards the arena. And she had to smile, he reminded her so much of Neptune. Once again she wondered of the possible conection between Neptune and him. One way to know was the triton, but that was far too risky to use. Dylan was so young and if he wasn't, he'd..... Genevieve let her thought hang there, not wanting to finish it. Then she noticed Fallax, standing amist the crowd. He looked a little shocked, Genevieve shrugged it off. Thinking it was due to the small town underground.

Genevieve turned and started walking towards the center, not sure how longer she could last. She made it into the center and then collasped while explaining her situation to a Chansey. The Chansey began to treat her.

    Annabell Grace

Anna walked into the Spire, into the arena. She didn't sit, she stood off to the side so she wasn't in others way. But Anna could still see the arena. Anna looked over the Pokemon in the arena, but she couldn't see Dylan. Then her attention went to Rector and her eyes grew wide. Rector wasn't like a Pokemon she'd ever seen. It looked be made of stone, but Rector was flying.

As the remaining combatants went underground, Anna tried to spot Dylan, hoping he still stood. But her hunt was made difficult when the audience got up to leave. They didn't seem to care about the young Buizel they were pushing around and stepping on. Anna knew she was short for her age, but they should have been able to see her. She struggled to try and get to a wall. After a couple minutes of ducking and pushing, Anna made it to a wall. Anna wrapped her arms around the wall the best she could.

"Dylan?!" Anna yelled clinging to the wall. She doubted he could hear her, if he was even in the arena. Anna looked around, searching. After most of the crowd was gone, Anna was able to walk around without fearing of being pushed or stepped on.

Anna walked along and then stopped when she seen something orange across from her. She squinted and then smiled widely when she realized it was Dylan. Anna ran towards him, and then tackled him to the ground. Anna landed on him, their faces a couple inches apart. "Dylan!" Anna cried happily.

Her heart skipped a beat when she heard Rector speak. She shuddered at the thought of "foul play". Of course, what else could she expect from games where the stakes were so high. So high that a fall from their stance could be...deadly. She straightened herself and began to walk towards the end of the stadium. A Peacekeeper stopped her. Matilda. She had seen her...but that was impossible. She looked at her, dressed in Tournament Robes, the silk of the sun, badges only matched by that of sunset. Her arms bandaged, hiding her fur. Strange. Matilda, -er-, the Peacekeeper looked at Ambrosia with stern eyes, as if looking at a stranger.

"I will take you to your dorm at once." she walked in front of her and kept at a steady pace. She maneuvered through halls of rooms, but none of them seemed to be her's.The black and white tiles of one hallway were unmatched by the tiles of others. What a strange building. Finally, she arrived at a staircase, and a strange one at that. The rug was burnt around the edges, as if a fire had been set over and over again. The bars around the stairs were singed, and she cringed at the thought of the room at the top being her's. But, of course, the walking came to an end and Matilda faced her.

"This is your room. Now, go. A feast will be prepared soon enough."

"This one. The one at the top? The one with the burned rug and singed banister?" she continued, not knowing if it would be a mistake, "Matilda?"

The woman looked at Ambrosia up and down before speaking, "You shall not ever ask for a Peacekeeper's name understand. This is your room, and my name is not Matilda. I assure you, that name will not be found anywhere in this Tournament. Now, on your way. Up up up, you go." she ushered her up the stairs. From behind her, Ambrosia could hear the muttering of the words, "Matilda. No. Matilda. No."

She crawled up the stairs and looked at the door. It was a large door, on it a rose. Memories of her father passed her mind, but she ignored them as soon as she saw what was at the bottom. Near the bottom of the rose, there was a hand with a familiar shape in its hand. Scissors. They were going to cut the rose. How odd? It appeared that this tournament was getting to her. When she opened the door, the rose disappeared and the door blended in with its respective red color. Inside there was a bed. A small window. That was it. What was she expecting? A beautiful tapestry? To her surprise, she found a small package on the bed. A box, wrapped in red lace. The white package blended in with the white sheets on the bed. She picked it up and held it with her tail. Should she open it?

She carefully unwound the ribbon and opened the box. Some music began to play. A familiar tune...a fairy tale song, The Beautiful Round. There was not a note inside, just a picture. It was blank. Oh, and a rose. A simple, red rose. The song continued.

With beauty, poise, and smarts she ran.
From the evil curse put on her hand.
With fight and courage she won the day,
the villages pleaded her to stay.
She dared not stop, in one place,
    she vanished, with another case.
Her heart entails the true side,
up until the day she died.

A sad song the children sing, but a marvelous fable. The girl's name was...Ambrosia's eyes opened. Matilda. The song began to slow and she realized the similarity with the one death note she had gotten. The cruel trick had toyed with her emotions. She threw it against the wall and ran, but found herself in a different corridor. Without singed bars, without burned rugs. She couldn't quell her surprise and the explosion behind her pushed her out the doorway, the scream alerting evryone nearby. From behind, a rose fell gently to the ground, its tips burned and black.

  • Shiro watched the commoners from Trollen approaching the three nobles. He was about to greet them, but Rector's booming voice interrupted him. Shiro listened and a disappointed feeling washed over him when he realized he could not go to his fancy hotel room… and his Biwa was back there. He hoped the staff wouldn't throw out all his stuff. His armor, his biwa, and the scrolls. His thoughts about petty things stopped when Rector told the crowd that killing would be looked down on. Shiro glared at Rector for a second.

'Is he really encouraging us to kill each other? They force us close together then mentions killing and only says it's looked down upon… This whole situation is suspicious,' thought Shiro. He grabbed his swords by instinct and looked a little tense. He followed the others downstairs and before they could split up he said to the group in a strong confident voice, "Duchess Charpore, Sir Zachary, Madam Nova, and um… you" He then pointed at Lorenzo. He then continued, "Come now we need to discuss something." He then turned around he gave off the aura of a leader something he had never shown the others before. Walking into one of the bedrooms he then waited for the others that followed before shutting the door. The room wasn't that large but most of the group was smaller pokemon anyway.

"This whole situation is not good… I don't know about you but I got the feeling they were encouraging assassination attempts. Our main task here is to win and save our king, and we cannot stray from that goal. We will move two more beds into this room and me, Zachary, and the Embola will sleep in here. Duchess and Nova we will get a bed into the room next door and you two will sleep in the same room. Yes these rooms are already small and we will not have much space, but sticking together will decrease the chances of being assassinated in our sleep. One will stand guard while the others sleep. Understood? Now we need to eat and heal, but from now on we do not separate. Always have a fellow kin with you at all times. Finally do not get into a fight unless it is to defend yourself. Do not be drawn into fight… reason for this is even if you win you will most likely be wounded, and others might seek to exploit this weakness. If you do fight the rest of us will have to drop what we are doing to protect the wounded," Said Shiro he paced a little while looking into each of their eyes in turn. For once he treated Nova and Lorenzo (other than forgetting his name) with equal respect as the Duchess and Zachary. His voice was authoritative and strong much like his father whenever his father was addressing the elite guard.

He then added, "I might be so bold to say… welcome to the true second round. We need to survive the night alongside preparing for tomorrow. Now let's quickly claim and arrange our rooms then we can eat and heal up." He turned to leave then stopped and asked, "Anyone have something they would like to say?"

  • Dylan sighed. Anna wasn't there after all. After searching the stands for over thirty minutes, the orange squirrel Pokemon couldn't be seen anywhere. But Dylan didn't feel like giving up, and he continued searching, more thoroughly this time, under chairs and behind pillars and poles. But she wasn't there. Looking around, half of the audiences had left through the leaving portal, back to their homes, and some where sleeping or resting on their seats, so nobody could take theirs. Maybe Anna can't make it. Well...I guess I can think at the bright side. She's safe at home with Oceania taking care of her. Despite having that thought in his mind, he was still worried about her. The bandits could go for her once again...

When he was about to give up, Dylan could sense that someone was running towards him from behind, and he kept his guards up, turning around, just to see a Buizel tackling him with a large leap, pushing him onto the ground. Dylan wanted to struggle, but he stopped once he saw who the attack was. Looking into her grey eyes, Dylan smiled. She made it! And he was so glad to see her. "Dylan!" Anna cried happily, and Dylan smiled even more, "A-Anna! You're here!" he cried, wrapping his arms around her, pulling her down for a big hug, then let go of her after ten seconds of cuddling.

Their faces were centimeters apart, and their bodies were almost pressing against each other's, Dylan's face deep red like a tomato. Looking at her shyly, Dylan saw his chance and spoke, "A-Anna, remember last time, I said I saved you not only because you're a Buizel? W-well when I first saw you I could f-feel that you're different. In a good, special way. I-I was drawn towards you a-and I don't know what people can see when they look at you, but I saw a sweet, kind, gentle Buizel with unique and special eyes...a-and I-I couldn't stop looking at you..." the Buizel blushed even more, "A-at first I thought I liked you in a brotherly way, b-but then, I think it's more than that...I-I love you Anna...."

  • Duchess Caitlyn Charporé
    Kingdom of Tollen

The Duchess followed the rest of her party who had finally gathered and they made their way back to the arena. There, Rector had already took his position high up and rows of ancient Keepers were ranked below him. He then announced in his usual grim tone.

"Congratulations, combatants. Those who remain here have passed the first round, and are advancing to the second round!" Noise levels shot up as the audience shrilled til their lungs allowed. The chinchilla winced as her ears were briefly tormented.

"You are all tired, and must be hungry as well. All combatants that have advanced the round are now welcome to go below the arena. There, you will find a buffet of foods and drinks from all over the Continents, as well as rooms prepared where you may sleep and rest. There is also a healing center you may go to for anyone who has injuries or pain."

The Aerodactyl's tone then went down like a soft slope, addressing only to the crowd of combatants. The Duchess inched closer.

"Now listen to me, combatants. All of your rooms are closeby each other, which means that all of you will be next to each other. In the past that this Tournament has gone by, there have been a few...incidents of battling and killing. I should let you know that these are...looked down on by the Keepers and myself."

After a pause, Caitlyn put on a frown. What was he saying? What are these incidents about?? She pouted, hurl a glare at several Pokemon besides her, before sniffing and facing her fellow emissaries.

"The Keepers will escort you to the underground. We will see you all tomorrow, where we will begin ROUND TWO!" The Cinccino had deftly slipped out of the crowd, to prevent her darling ears from the unruly ruckus. She was ushered by a rather youthful but brawny Anorith with the others. The view she took, was very shocking and unimaginable. The Cinccino couldn't quite put her finger on it; the atmosphere was terrific, the ambiance could be felt however a deep uneasiness gnawed at her inwardly. The whole underground was like a big suburb. Wait, suburb wasn't the right term. It could be deemed a city of a metropolis! There were areas of food and dining, some facilities for healing and medical whatnots and Caitlyn saw, her expression was of an explicit shock, a rather huge accommodation. However its plain ramshackle-like looks gave her a downside of its fashion. She shuffled around the outsides, before skirting through the doors along with the rest.

Shiro, the Dewott, hustled them towards a bedroom whilst he declared a meeting. "This whole situation is not good… I don't know about you but I got the feeling they were encouraging assassination attempts. Our main task here is to win and save our king, and we cannot stray from that goal. We will move two more beds into this room and me, Zachary, and the Emolga will sleep in here. The Duchess and Nova will get a bed into the room next door and you two will sleep in the same room. Yes, these rooms are already small and we will not have much space, but sticking together will decrease the chances of being assassinated in our sleep. If you do fight the rest of us will have to drop what we are doing to protect the wounded," The Dewott resembled much like his Samurott of a father, very authoritative and with a tone that one finds hard not to agree with. Caitlyn wandered her gaze about the room, not the least perturbed by the interior.

"I might be so bold to say… welcome to the true second round. We need to survive the night alongside preparing for tomorrow. Now let's quickly claim and arrange our rooms then we can eat and heal up." From how she was sitting on a sofa, Caitlyn got up to her feet and drifted over nearby the Espeon. She whispered in the ear, "You heard what he said." She paused to stifle a giggle. "Care to join me for a drink or two? Gosh, I think I need a break from all this rush hullabaloo." The Duchess released a yawn, tapping her chin with a tail.

Anna couldn't describe what she was feeling, as she looked down at Dylan. She was so glad he was safe, she didn't want to lose her new friend. And it was great to see him, to know he was safe. "Of course I'm here. I've been here the whole time, I just couldn't see you. I'm so glad you're alright!" Anna said hugging him tightly back. She chose not to tell him about Slice coming. He didn't need to get worked up about it, especially when he was in the Dark Tournament. Anna had already scared him enough, like the night they met. He hadn't needed to fight off the bandits, but he chose to. That was one of the reasons she loved him. Anna blinked. I love him? She thought as she looked down at him. Wow, I guess I do. But he probably doesn't love me. She thought sadly.

Anna blushed deeply at his words. Nobody had even said kind words to her, it made her feel...Well, she didn't know how to explain it. It made her warm, from the inside and there was a fizzy feeling in her stomach. Anna blushed more when he said he loves her. She looked his face over, trying to figure out if he was being serious. Anna wanted to make sure this wasn't a cruel joke. She'd been through that already and didn't want to do it again. Anna couldn't find anything indicating he was lying so she spoke. "Dylan, the first time we met, I thought you were a stupid daredevil. The way you jumped head first into battling the bandits. And for a girl you didn't even know. Then after you brought me into your house, I realized you were warm, caring and gentle. Something you wouldn't expect someone our age to be like. You're easily excitable and loyal. Dylan," Anna said and then bit her lip. Why was saying this so hard to do? "Dylan, I love you too. It was brotherly, but now its something more."

She swallowed and then nerviously leaned forward and pressed her lips against his, softly. She didn't know if he'd kiss back, but she kissed him anyways. To her surprise Dylan kissed her softly back. He loosely wrapped his arms around her waist, making Anna blush deep red. Anna then wrapped her arms around his neck. The kiss only lasted for a minute or so. A little reluctantly, Anna pulled back and looked down at Dylan.

  • "Of course I'm here. I've been here the whole time, I just couldn't see you. I'm so glad you're alright!"

Dylan's life got a million times better after hearing her first statement. Then he blushed and smiled when Anna hugged him back tightly, giving Dylan a lot of comfort as her body was pressed onto his, giving him warmth, her arms around him, her face nuzzling him ever so gently. After hugging, Anna blinked, confusion in her eyes, and the Buizel boy tilted his head, looking back into her eyes, shooting her a glance that meant, 'what's wrong?'.

Ignoring her confused eyes, Dylan blushed hard, feeling nervous and hot, telling her how he felt about her, how much he loved her. He knew Anna might turn him down on the spot, but he wanted to make it clear. To his surprise, the she didn't run away, and there was a deep blush on her face, and she blushed even more after Dylan's 'I love you' speech. Their eyes were locked onto each other's, and Dylan could tell that Anna was trying to see if this was a joke or not.

"Dylan, I love you too. It was brotherly, but now its something more."

"R-Really....?" Dylan's eyes widened, then blushed shyly, looking at her from below, but then Anna leaned forward, stopping Dylan from saying anymore, and pressed her lips against his. Gasping against her lips, Dylan closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around her back, kissing her gently in return, blushing deep red. Then Anna wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her body onto Dylan's, and neither of them wanted this to stop. It was too good, and Dylan felt heavenly, not to mention he was sure that Anna was feeling the same way as well.

After a minute of kissing, Anna pulled back, and both of them could see each other's blushes, and Dylan was speechless for a second there, not knowing what to say. "A-Anna..." Dylan spoke softly, his breathing a little heavy because the kiss, and looked into her eyes shyly, laying right under her, "I-I love you...a-and t-that was amazing..."

"I-I'm sorry. I'm waiting for someone....I'll have to stay at the arena for now. You can follow if you want though." Dylan replied.

"Its that cutie, ain't it? That Buizel..." Replicus said. Dylan ran off, and Replicus decided to follow the Buizel, although he found it quite hard with him jumping about from place to place.

"Where are you Anna?!" He yelled. Replicus smiled. It was the other Buizel, after all. He silently followed him, keeping a lookout for the orange Pokemon. After some searching, he saw Anna tackle Dylan to the ground, and it looked as if they had a brief talk. Replicus watched them, both of them blushing hard.

"Did Dylan just...?" Replicus thought. All his doubts were cleared when he saw the both kiss.

"Aw crap... Better give them privacy and get outta here..." Replicus thought. He smiled, and ran away, back towards the city.

Once he was back, he felt incredibly hungry. He ran over to the bar, and took a seat.

"One bottle of MooMoo Milk" He said to the bartender. The bartender stared at him, and silently handed him a bottle. Replicus quietly sipped it, thinking about the day's events, the future of the Tournament, the Ultimate Power, and most of all, some kind of connection between Dylan and that Empoleon, Neptune...

He snapped out of it, when he noticed his bottle was empty. He was about to walk away, when a Ursaring blocked his way. The Ursaring pushed him away, saying, "Outta my way, I need a drink..."

"Hey, why are you pushing, you drunkard?" Replicus replied, annoyed at the attitude of the Pokemon. The Ursaring puffed his chest out, and said, "You got a problem, you punk?!" He immediately charged a Giga Impact, but before he could do that, Replicus smashed the MooMoo milk bottle on his head. He staggered back, and crashed into a table.

A few Pokemon looked at the Ursaring, and slowly got up. They approached Fallax, murder in their eyes. Probably the Ursaring was their friend, or something. Fallax was outnumbered, and he spotted Kaiser in some distance.

"Hey, Kaiser, some help here?!" He yelled, just before he was tackled by a Wartortle. Replicus managed to transform into a Throh, and punch him away at the last second.

"Oh boy. A brawl... just the thing I needed..." Fallax thought.

Lorenzo was casually walking around the hallway, when he saw two pokemon lovingly kissing on the floor. He grimaced and thought back to his past, and how..... no he couldn't. He turned around and went to the bar where he sat down for a drink, alot had happened, but Lorenzo chose not to dwell on it.

Lorenzo saw a shabby old piano sitting in the corner, his sister had though him how to play before and he still knew the tune he had practiced so hard to learn. It was called parallel hearts. Over the years he had added some inprovisation here and there but it was still the same old tune. It was hard for him to play keys from both sides of the keyboard due to his small paws, but thats what his tail was for. He felt awfully nostalgic and tears came to his eyes. He remembered his past the small segment that he was hiding from himself it was just within his reach, the memorys he had hidden from himself when...

SMASH! A milk bottle cracked off the back of Lorenzos head.

Lorenzo turned around, anger in his eyes and screamed at the top of his lungs when he saw the bar fight before him.

    "Honorless fools!!!"

Lorenzo charged in and began attacking any pokemon he could get his hands on.

(OOC((OOC perfect thing to get people back in, DI. :D What better way to get to interact with people around than with a bit of fighting?)

    Gold Tribe

Kent went into the restaurant as Replicus ran off with Dylan towards a different direction. Kent hesitated for a second, but then decided that Dylan could take care of himself. He sat there, enjoying his relaxation. He took note of the Pokemon all around. They were all participants from the Tournament. Thankfully, no one from the Order was there.

Kent closed his eyes and thought in his head for a moment, his body and mind, at that moment, completely relaxed and at peace. The sound of a soft piano playing helped him with his state of peace. Then he was interrupted by Fallax, who was having an argument with another Pokemon at the bar. Suddenly, an Ursaring charged at Replicus, and he retaliated. A few seconds later, more Pokemon joined in. Soon, half of the bar was in an uproar.

"Hey, Kaiser, some help here?!" Replicus said. Kent reacted right away, going at the Throh Replicus and fought with him, as a free-for-all erupted right in the bar. Kent looked around to see Pokemon now fighting each other all across the bar, some in pairs, others on their own. Kent struck at the Ursaring who was now up again, pushing him back with his Slash, but the Ursaring was tough, and hit Kent with a Body Slam. Kent nearly avoided it, twirling to the side as the Pokemon crashed down onto the floor. He struck him again with a Slash, and for the moment, he looked like he was down.

Suddenly, Kent heard a loud yell as another Pokemon joined the fray, charging at them all, fighting the crowd.

"Honorless fools!!!" He said as he began hitting Pokemon left and right. Kent, momentarily distracted by this, was hit in the back by a charging Charizard. Kent literally flew to the other side of the bar, hitting a Lucario minding his own business right in the face, and crashing them both down.

Derrick was minding his own business in the bar, even as a fight was erupting. As long as no one got in his way he didn't care.

But that changed when a Zangoose was suddenly flung right into his face, knocking over his drink and sending him crashing to the ground. Derrick spoke out loud, annoyed and angry.

"Ugh...you moron!" Derrick said, kicking the Zangoose off of him. The Zangoose landed on his feet, and faced him now. Derrick rose his fists and prepared to fight. Suddenly, though, the Charizard from before came in charging at both Derrick and the Zangoose. Derrick, and the Zangoose at the same time, both charged an attack and his, Derrick with Close Combat, and the Zangoose with a Slash. Both of them brought down the Charizard with the unexpected combo attack. They looked at each other in the eyes, both examining one another, fully aware that both of them had extreme skill.

But their concentration was broken as a rather large Skarmory burst through the room, seemingly to help his comrade Emolga already there. In a wave of attacks, the Skarmory now shot a Steel Wing towards a few Pokemon, including Replicus. That was enough to make Kent charge at the Skarmory to defend Replicus.

As the fighting broke out in the restaurant, Zachary peeked in to see Lorenzo as one of the combatants. Determined to defend his comrade, Zachary burst through the restuarant doors and charged towards the direction of Lorenzo.

"Lorenzo, you alright?! Let's take them together!" He said, aiming an attack at a Throh, among other. Yet towards the defense of the Throh came a Zangoose, ready to fight. Zachary noticed that both of them had Golden Insignias. Nevertheless, he struck at them both with a Steel Wing.
