(had to retype :/ long post yay!)

Dylan beamed happily as Kaiser was looking at him, clearly impressed by his heroic comeback. Kaiser then glanced around, looking at the nearby Pokemon, then locked his glance at a Rapidash, a fire horse Pokemon. Once Kaiser's target was 'locked on', he had no chance to live or escape. Dylan looked around cautiously as well, worried for an ambush, then when the coast was clear, Kaiser spoke, his eyes still locked onto his 'prey', his claws and insignia shimmering under the sun.

"You are full of surprises, young Buizel." He said, charging at a Rapidash. "Come! Let's strike these Pokemon together!" He yelled to him, aiming at the Rapidash with a Slash. The Rapidash was injured by the slash, and felt to the ground, struggling to get up with his four agile legs, but Dylan wasn't planning to let him. Seeing the chance given by his tutor, Dylan wrapped himself with water, then headbutted the Rapidash with Aqua Jet, the attack, knocking him unconscious, the Rapidash body skidding across the arena. If people didn't check properly, people might have thought think he's dead.

Dylan turned around to face his tutor, a proud smile on his face, but his smile faded instantly when he saw a Gengar standing behind the Zangoose, ten meters away from them, a large blob of energy in his hands. Dylan's eyes widened, and when he was about to warn Kaiser about the Shadow ball, the Gengar had already fired his attack, hurling it towards Kaiser's back.

"Kaiser watch out!" Dylan screamed, then propelled his body towards the Shadow ball, spinning in mid air, his Iron Tail slamming onto the shadow ball, whacking it towards another direction, the shadow ball sent flying towards another opponent, knocking the opponent away and off the Spire. Standing behind Kaiser's back once again, Dylan stood in battle pose, ready to fend of Pokemon that were too stupid to come close. The Gengar seemed to be enraged as his shadow ball couldn't hit its designated target, and his body was glowing with power (or anger), ready to launch a powerful attack. Opening his mouth, the Gengar launched a strong dark pulse of destructive energy, and Kaiser was still busy fighting some others without noticing.

Raising his hand, the mini blizzard around them came to his aid, the hail and the ice grouping and forming a large ice wall before the Buizel, just large enough to block the strong pulses. Despite that, the pulses left craters and holes in the wall, and blocking it only made the enemy even angrier. Launching a large number of shadow balls towards Dylan like a machine gun, Dylan left Kaiser's side in order to dodge them, and dashed from side to side in a zig-zag manner, dodging all of them, then when he was near the Gengar, his fist glowed bright white, and slammed his fist onto the Gengar's body with Meteor Mash, the punch knocking him back for a few meters, then when the Gengar was recovering, Dylan ran towards him again, both of his fists glowing white, then slammed his fists together from both sides, the Gengar's head in the middle, the action a little like a man squishing a fly with his hands clapping together, but with much more energy and force with his glowing fists.

The Gengar scowled and disappeared in an instant, fleeing the battlefield for now. Was he coming back? Or was he forfeiting, Dylan didn't know but right now that was one opponent down for him, and on his own! Dylan smiled, being happy and proud by the thought, when all of a sudden he was lifted into the air by a strong telekinetic attack, unable to move mid-air, his body suppressed by psychic energy, forced to stretch out like a long, stiff piece of wood. Moving his eyeballs and glancing to the right, he saw a Medicham chanting a psychic spell, his eyes glowing red with power. Then, when Dylan was still suppressed in the air, the Medicham jumped towards the Buizel, then jabbed Dylan's stomach with his knee with Hi-jump kick, forcing a painful moan out of the Buizel's mouth, the large strong impact knocking the Buizel out of the psychic trap. Tumbling onto the ground, the Buizel pressed his paws onto the ground firmly, stopping himself from tumbling anymore, then quickly rolled back to his feet in a second, facing the Medicham, panting rather heavily now.

The Medicham stood before the Buizel, in battle pose, a knee in the air like a mantis, then when Dylan lunged towards him with Meteor Mash, Dylan couldn't believe his eyes when the Medicham vanished into mid-air, Dylan's punch slamming against nothing but the air, the momentum causing Dylan to spin uncontrollably. The Medicham appeared from behind like magic and did a low sweep, tripping the Buizel with his leg. Falling onto the floor face-first, the Buizel with a black eye, turned around, just in time to block the Medicham's punch. The Psychic-Fighting pokemon unleashed a strong close combat, and Dylan fought back with his Meteor Mash fists, managing to block his enemy's strong attacks while attacking with his own.

Dylan's punches were getting faster and stronger with every punch as if he was in machine-gun mode, getting used to this fighting rhythm, and the Medicham kept fighting with his close combat, stepping farther and farther away from the Buizel. Smirking, Dylan knew it was disgusting, but he spat on the Medicham's eyes, blinding the Medicham for a couple of seconds, then slammed his fist onto his handsome face, sending him flying. This is a battlefield, sue me!

Turning around, Dylan jumped back, dodging a Machamp's lowercut punch from above. The attack missed, but Dylan could see how powerful he was as a large crater was formed on the ground. Pushing a waterball towards the Machamp, the Machamp roared like a chimpanzee, and blocked the attack by placing his arms together as a shield, then charged towards the Buizel with amazing speed, giving him a body slam, then bashed the Buizel's head with his. Being blasted by the painful attack, Dylan's vision blurred and stumbled around, dizzy, his forehead bleeding a little by the head-slam.

Fighting the dizziness, Dylan punched forwards, his fists glowing again, his punch aiming for his chest. The Machamp was expecting the attack to be 'normal', but since Dylan was dizzy, he couldn't aim properly, and the fist was sent a little downwards, to his most sensitive part, the slam forcing a painful girly squeal out of the Machamp's mouth. Growling, the Machamp grabbed Dylan's arm and twisted it, cracking his right arm. A pitiful and heartbreaking cry escaping Dylan's mouth, the Machamp wasn't merciful, and his arms were in the air, above his head, ready to slam them downwards. Seeing the black blobs in the sky with his blurred and bloody vision, Dylan turned to Kaiser's direction, hoping he could get some protection. But he wasn't running fast enough, and the fighting champion slammed his fists downwards onto Dylan's back, the power strong enough to leave black bruise-like craters on his back. Dylan was blinding and everything was black for a few seconds because of the pain, and the next thing he knew, he was on the ground, his body facing the floor, his eyes half-closed.

Being bullied already eh... Dylan thought, breathing heavily, his back bleeding, blood covering his orange fur as he crawled towards his mentor as fast as he could, "K-Kaiser......!"

Atop the highest tree in the forest, Toro found himself in a duel with a Hitmonlee. Kicks and punches were thrown at each other, each almost falling after every few contacts made.

"You are a worthy opponent Blaziken," the Hitmonlee spoke through his heavy breathing.

Toro didn't respond. The fight was taking a lot out of him and this was only the first round.

"But now I'm afraid I'm going to have to overpower you," the Hitmonlee charged at Toro.

Toro, as fast as he was, found it hard to dodge this coming attack, but managed to do so with much success. The Hitmonlee found himself attempting to balance on the edge of a large branches end.

Toro charged at the Hitmonlee with all his might. Hitmonlee turned around to a Sky Uppercut to the chin, sending him high into the air. When he reached his maximum altitude, fell to the ground, not the branch where he was launched.

Toro watched the Hitmonlee lying on the ground, out cold. And then out of no where, a familiar voice was heard.

"Bellator! Bellator! Where are you? We need to work together," the voice said.

Toro knew the voice to be Ambrosia Dusklore's, also known as "Tactician." Within the Gold Tribe, we were all known by our titles. However, Toro hated being called "Bellator" and preferred his real name.

Ambrosia shot a Flamethrower from the top of a tall oak and then started doing a dragon dance in the sky. Either she was trying to get Toro to notice her or she was trying to get killed.

Suddenly, there was a vine whip that was thrown at Tactician. So it was Toro's time to act. Toro jumped from his tall tree and in front of the attack. He shot a Blaze Kick at the vines, burning them away.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED?!" Toro asked her with a stern voice.

Ambrosia had succeeded in getting someone's attention. She saw a Vine Whip head right for her but hen she was about to stop it, Bellator came forward and used a Blaze Kick. What? She could have easily stopped that.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED?!" he said with a stern voice.

"No, just noticed. And so far, you are the only one who seems to have noticed." she looked around and saw a Skarmory heading for them. She shot it down with a Flamethrower. Obviously, it was not expecting her to be powered up by the Dragon Dance. Strange, that she hadn't actually caught any other attention. She looked at him, "Well, I'm sorry if I did something dumb, but if I hadn't, we probably would have never found each other. Now, how do you plan on surviving."

She turned around just in time to catch three Beedrill heading right towards them. She shot one down with a Flamethrower, but the other seemed to be maneuvering around all her attacks. They began to speed up. "Stay in this tree, if they find you, they'll attack." she thought of something worse. She looked around and saw it, the bright yellow object. "If you do attack, aim the other way, their hive is right in between those two trees. Be wary of your shots."

    Nova the Espeon
    Kingdom of Tollen

"Ah Nova!" the Emolga said with a smile, "I was just about to start searching for y..." His ear twitched, Nova's head tilting as she was too distracted to fix on her surroundings. "Nova move!" he cried out, using an Extreme Speed to push her back to the wall as a Dark Pulse flew by, smacking her hero back. The rocks scrapped her face to open up her wounds a bit more, but she shook it off, immediately checking to see if Lorenzo was ok. He was shaken up, but fine. A harsh laugh broke her attention from the electric pokemon, her alien eyes glaring up at the fog above them. It had cleared to reveal a Darkrai, the legendary of darkness.

"Haha...ahahaha...BWAHAHAHAH! So which one of you wants to die next?" the legendary asked, taunting them. Nova's sharp eyes weren't taken off of the pokemon, as she was slowly gathering information and techniques she could use to counter the Darkrai. "No answer huh? No matter I'll defeat you both at once!". Dark aura quickly arose from its claws, shooting out two separate Dark Pulses, aimed both at Nova and Lorenzo. Her eyes flashed a red, moving in front of the speedy Dark Pulse aimed at her friend. Jumping up from the platform, she shot a Shadow Ball from above the dark attack, a small explosion causing smoke to shoot out as both attacks collided. "I can't have him laying another attack on Lorenzo...". The smoke was clearing slightly, enough for her to make out the shape of the Darkrai, who was only a yard away.

Her smile snapped on, leaping in front of the Darkrai and having her gem flash extra bright, blinding the pokemon with a large Flash of overwhelming light. The pokemon screamed out as it flung her away, Nova hitting the side of the mountain before carefully trying climb back up to the platform. "Y-You little...! My eyes! I'm blind!" the legendary cried out, knowing full well he couldn't put her to sleep without him having the same fate. In reaction, it fired out several Dark Pulses around, most flying past Lorenzo and Nova. A beam only managed to hit the ground above the Espeon, both large and small rocks going downward her direction. She jumped for the platform, getting a successful grip on it. Her grip was only broken as the larger rocks flung her back, Nova's body tumbling into the cliff's edge and falling down.

The Espeon's red gem went cold as she was falling, her psychic powers catching her just in time as they enveloping the rocks beneath her in midair. She calmed herself down slowly, although she wasn't sure if Lorenzo was fine or not.

"No, just noticed. And so far, you are the only one who seems to have noticed," Ambrosia told Toro. "Well, I'm sorry if I did something dumb, but if I hadn't, we probably would have never found each other. Now, how do you plan on surviving?"

Before Toro could answer, three Beedrill emerged from there nest. Tactician was able to make contact with one with her Flamethrower, but the other two were ale to maneuver around the attack.

"Stay in this tree, if they find you, they'll attack," she explained. "If you do attack, aim the other way, their hive is right in between those two trees. Be wary of your shots."

The two Beedrill sped towards us, both intent on causing serious injury. Toro jumped at one, leaving the other for Tactician. Toro swung his fists at the Beedrill, with only one connected. But that punch spun the Beedrill around so it couldn't see what Toro's next move was.

Toro's claws grew and he gave the Beedrill a taste of his all powerful Crush Claw attack.

"C'mon Tactician, let's take out the nest," Toro jumped down at the nest, hoping Ambrosia would follow.

    Azar Polterus

Azar darted around, Alvah always in his sights. Azar knew that, for now, Alvah would be a useful ally. Azar dodged a Bisharp's kick and hit the Bisharp with a Dark Pulse. The Bisharp flew back, Azar once again being interrupted by the announcer notifying the competitors that there is one less remainer. Azar jumped over to the Bisharp, and set a fateful curse on the Bisharp. Azar looked for Alvah to see a Machoke and a Growlithe cornering her. She seemed to have a hard time dealing with the Pokemon, so Azar shot a Dark Pulse at the two attackers. They were both knocked away, the two of them falling of the Platform.

" Twenty Five Pokemon Remain," Azar would have to ignore that voice. Azar jumped to Alvah, and remarked,

" I won't be saving you everytime." Alvah seemed disappointed by Azar's remark and replied,

" I would be better of anyway." Azar was dumbfounded by the Roselia's witty reply. Azar jumped back into battle, watching as the Roselia handled anyone who came across her. She is planning something, Azar thought, approaching a Hypno focused on something else. With some Hypnosis magic, Hypno was asleep. Azar jumped to the Hypno and sucked the dreams from him.

" Twenty-three fighters remain," was the voice's response.

(OOC Sorry for not posting in a bit guys, something personal I had to attend to...)

    Gold Tribe

A shadow ball from a Gengar was heading to Kent's back, but Kent wasn't aware. Had that Shadow Ball hit, it could have boded ill for Kent, but Dylan effectively warned him.

"Kaiser watch out!" he yelled. In one motion, the Shadow Ball was propelled away by Dylan's Iron Tail. Kent nodded to the Buizel affectionately, and returned to his battle. He was up against a tough Hitmontop, who was a master at close-range combat, which could easily be told by his stance, and his attacks, which actually rivaled Kent's in power.

As Kent and the Hitmontop exchanged blows, however, Kent realized: he may as been as strong as him, but he wasn't as fast. With every one hit the Hitmontop would throw, Kent would Slash back three more. After a bit of enduring and hitting back, the Hitmontop was on the ground. Kent had a pain come from his shoulder, probably now going to be a bruise. He silently commended the Hitmontop. He would have been a strong fighter in the Tournament.

What Kent didn't realize was that Dylan had been in a fight against a tough Machamp. He only realized once he heard the shriek of him from his right arm being cracked. Kent rushed towards his aid, but he wasn't fast enough, as the Machamp ruthlessly hit the Buizel on his back. Dylan crawled towards Kent's direction, as Kent came rushing to Dylan's side. The Machamp approached closer from the back. Kent looked around, seeing the Kabutops Keeper examining Dylan on the ground, wondering if he could fight on. Not taking his eyes of the Keeper, Kent picked Dylan up and placed him onto his feet. He whispered in his ear.

"I know it hurt, Dylan. I know you feel pain. It's only going to get tougher from here. But you have to listen to me. You cannot fall down, or they'll take you out of the Tournament. This next lesson...is endurance. Pain, damaged, bruises, cuts, broken bones, these are all things you'll be experiencing as a fighter. But if you truly fight for something you believe it, like me, as I fight for the Alpha Alliance, then you learn to adapt to that pain, and take that damage." Kent paused as the Machamp got closer. "But you are not apart of the Alpha Alliance, and you're not a member of the Gold Tribe. You are my pupil. So here comes the big question: Is it worth it? Is there something you will gain, either personally or for someone by fighting in this Tournament? Is all this damage worth it? If the answer is no, then fall here and be taken out of this Tournament. If the answer is yes, then stand strong, and fight with me."

Kent let go of Dylan, and charged forward for the Machamp, first powering up with a Swords Dance, then using a powerful Aerial Ace on him. The Machamp was tough, and Kent began to do battle with him.

Meanwhile, the Keeper waited next to Dylan, watching him. It was judgment time for him: will he fall, or endure and fight on? The choice was Dylan's.

    Order of Neoverse

Zion emerged from the Bog Portal, his hood and cloak scraped a little on the side, but otherwise, he looked fine. The Bog Portal was now the second portal to close and finish, with the 16 finalists out, the first being the Death Portal. The others still fought on.

There were 14 more portals that needed their finalists. Zion waited to see how they would turn out.

    Region of Argos

Derrick Onkai was healed up...relatively, and decided to begin his walking around again, searching for more enemies. He searched across the plains for a fighter, but none were coming now. All he could hear was the soft wind blow in his face, his bruised face. It was actually quite nice.

He then noticed something up ahead in the plains. He ducked down, and approached it softly and quietly. He reached it, to see it was a fallen Pokemon, a Gligar. By the looks of it, the Pokemon was only recently taken down, which meant that the victor was close.

Derrick check over the hill, and saw who it was, the very same Nintales he had seen twice before. He accidentally shouted out.

"You...foreigner!" He didn't intend to shout out, as he planned to finish her off in quick silence. But now that she heard, he strolled down the hill and approached her closely, looking her over for a second.

There was no mistaking it. The red bow gave it away, this was the same Ninetales he bumped into the day before. If he recalled, she had made fun of him that day. Derrick assumed his stance.

"Get up, Ninetales. This 'drunken idiot' has a few things to...discuss with you."

"Look out! There's a hive nearby!" Ambrosia yelled. But her voice reached him too late. He jumped out and his hand glowed a bright white. A Crush Claw attack. The Beedrill screamed and the hive opened to reveal a huge army of Beedrill. She pounced on the other Beedrill which fell to the ground, dead. She flew through and grabbed the Blaziken. Her grip loosened but she managed to keep his foot up. The Beedrill were following them at a high speed.

"Now would be a good time for those attacks!" she yelled as her tail turned into a stream of water. Some of the Beedrills were soaked and fell to the ground, unable to fly. But as one fell, two took its place. They unleashed an array of Poison Sting. She swerved in the air to avoid the hits. "Sorry about the bumpy ride!" she chuckled a bit and continued forward. The Beedrills were speeding up, and that was when she saw them. The Beedrills weren't alone. There was a Vespiquen in the midst of the yellow and black wall. She glared at Ambrosia as she screamed. It was painful. She began falling and had to turn a quick right as more Poison Stings.

Another girlish scream brought more Beedrill. Ambrosia turned breefly and used a Thunder Wave to slow them down. She flew through the air, trying to attack and maneuver at the same time. Maybe the trees would prove to be a better hiding place. "I'm heading down, so grab on." she thrust her body downward and among the trees, there were less Beedrills, but the Vespiquen was hot on their trail. Another scream and the Beedrills would find them.

OCC: Wow, you guys got far! Congrats! Well, obviously, I am back from my trip, where I only got 3 leeches, two ticks, swamped twice, and had to sleep in the open cause we forgot the tents halfway across an extremely windy lake! But it was awesome! Anyway, I am going to keep this relatively short because I am extremely tired and have not taken my contacts out for 3 days so my eyes hurt.

Silver pulled the bloody blade on his head out of the now dead roserade in front of him, allowing the limp body to fall lifelessly to the ground. So much had happened so quickly, that he had a hard time processing it all. One moment, he had woken up that morning and prepared for the tournament, then he was dumped into a dark cavern with 31 other contestants and forced to survive. Oh well, at least he was in his element, being able to sneak around and silently take out his opponents.

The cavern name for the arena however, was slightly misleading, as there was a central cavern with smaller caves branching off of it, creating a small labyrinth for the contestants to battle in. There was also a small river that snaked through the central cavern as well. He had taken out three of his opponents so far, and had seen six others be killed, so that left seven more until the portal would open again and they could leave the arena.

The first pokemon to go had been the fire types, as they tried to light up the cave so they could see, which also revealed their position and made them easy targets. Silver had made no such mistakes, only using his claws and blade, and the occasional dark pulse, which was masked by the already dark cave.

He made his way to the river, sticking to the shadows hoping to find some easy pokemon to pick off. He knew better though, all the stupid pokemon were already long gone. It had been hours now, it was difficult to tell, and Silver knew that it would probably be a while until the tournament in that arena would be finished.

A few minutes and a couple wrong turns later, Silver cautiously crept down to the river and check for signs of any other of his competitors, but there were none. He quickly took a drink of water then crept along the bank, only stepping on rocks to conceal his trail, while checking for signs of anybody else.

Silver stopped when he saw a claw print in the mud, a weavile if he recognized it correctly, and took a quick second to search for more. He saw a few more, as well as the mud being disturbed, like there had possibly been a battle there earlier, but he saw no blood which he thought strange. He took a few cautious steps forward, then quickly jumped back as the muddy patch collapsed and a pokemon jumped out and used flash and blinded him.

Silver instinctively used a dark pulse to blast the other pokemon away, then blinked quickly to try to recover his sight before his unknown opponent recovered form his attack. It took a bit shorter than he expected and his vision cleared enough to barely see that his opponent was a Ferrothorn, and it was preparing to attack with a power whip. Silver quickly threw two Razor Winds at the pokemon, then charged at it and attacked it's eyes with slash, then blasted it into the water with another dark pulse, where it quickly sunk to the bottom, either dead or unconscious.

Silver stood there panting more a moment before quickly clearing out of the area, knowing that the battle there, as well as the flash attack, would have drawn a large amount of attention. He retreated into a side tunnel and nestled himself into a small opening where he could still see the site of his last battle, hoping to be able to ambush any curious pokemon that checked out the scene of the battle. As he waited, he realized that this might take longer than he had expected.

Sorry for any spelling errors or anything, but I feel terrible and need to sleep really badly. But, it is good to be back. :)

(DAM I GOTTA TYPE THIS ALL OUT AGAIN :/ )

The pain was horrible, and the eleven-year-old Buizel had never felt this painful before, the pain literally killing him, inside and outside. On his back, there were some circle-shaped bruises and wounds created by the Machamp's fist slams, not to mention Dylan had two black eyes and a half-broken right arm. Crawling on the icy floor, Dylan could see a large Machamp shadow getting larger and larger from behind, which meant the fighting Pokemon was approaching from behind, ready to land his crushing blow once again with any mercy at all. The Kabutops Keeper was standing next to him, examining him to see if he could carry on, and Kaiser was rushing towards his apprentice after fighting against a Hitmontop, and Dylan was so glad to see him.

If the answer is no, then fall here and be taken out of this Tournament. If the answer is yes, then stand strong, and fight with me."

Kaiser helped Dylan to his feet again, holding him gently so Dylan wouldn't fall. The Buizel had a little difficulty standing straight after the crushing blow, and his eyes couldn't open wide, but he could still listen, and he did, trying his best to get everything into his mind. When Kaiser was done talking, Dylan was in deep thought, his eyes closing, but then after a while his eyes were opened again, his conclusion popping up in his brain. He was still a little dizzy despite being able to stand, but Dylan could concentrate, and his mentor's speech had given him strength once again.

It IS worth it. I love fighting and battling, and by joining the tournament I can learn much, much more. And I can impress Anna by moving onto the next round. She'll be so happy! I'm not fighting for the Alpha Alliance, but I am also fighting for something. And as long as I learn something in the process, as long as Anna's happy, this is worth it. Plus, I've been training for weeks, and before joining I knew I'll be injured and wounded in the fight, so it isn't a big deal...yeah...it isn't a big deal! I'll get through it and prove to my mentor that I'm capable! Just you wait, Kaiser and Anna! Dylan thought, staying silent as he didn't want to blurt that out before everybody.

After saying 'If the answer is yes, then stand strong, and fight with me,", Kaiser let his apprentice go, and lunged towards the Machamp, charging himself with swords dance before attacking him with slashes and quick attacks. The Kabutops was still looking at Dylan, standing next to him, waiting to see if he was going to give up. Their glances meeting, Dylan smiled and nodded, "I'm staying, and I'm not going to give up yet." The Kabutops nodded and dashed away, heading towards other wounded, injured, and dead contestants. Stand strong, and fight with me Kaiser's voice rang in his head, then, there was another voice. The voice was slightly more gentle, but was equally as strong and convincing, Stand strong, young Demetrius, and we will fight together. Fight? Together? Demetrius? Looking around, Dylan couldn't see any pokemon that could use telepathy, and he was awfully confused once again. This voice was also rather familiar, as if he had heard it before. But where?

Recovering bit by bit, Dylan joined the battle, his LEFT hand glowing white as he slammed his fist onto the Machamp's head from behind as Kaiser kept the enemy busy. His right hand couldn't really work well right now, but as he had Kaiser with him, Dylan had no worries at all. Doing a low sweet with his leg, the Buizel tripped the Machamp from behind, then released his rage onto the large fighting pokemon, doing a reverse roundhouse kick, his feet slamming onto the Machamp's back, knocking him forward, the Machamp falling onto the ground, his face facing down. Looking at Kaiser, Dylan waited for his finishing blow on the enemy.

    ***

"Stand strong, young Demetrius, and we will fight together." Neptune 'Tidechanger' Demetrius spoke from above, standing above a cloud, then turned to a beautiful young Ninetales, a little smile on his face. However, his eyes were full of concern, "Take care, Genevieve...my love..."

As Dylan subdued the Machamp, Kent prepared to finish him off. He first used a Swords Dance to power up his strength even more, then went in for the kill: an Aerial Ace. Machamp took the attack straight to the face and then the chest. He was out now, another tough opponent defeated.

The Kabutops Keeper smiled as the Machamp was brought down, and then raised his arm into the air. As he did so, the portal that was once gone had reappeared, and then activated it's familiar blue glow.

"There are only 16 of you left." The Keeper said. "Congratulations. You have all move on to the next round." The warriors, what remained of them looked over each other, and proceeded towards the portal, their first round over.

Kent patted Dylan on the back, smiling at him.

"You did well, Dylan." Kent said to him. As they proceeded out of the combat zone, Kent took one look back at the arena, and the dead or unconscious that were on the floor. For a moment, Kent wondered what would become of them. He assumed the Keeper staff would take care of them, which is why the Keeper remained in the portal as the rest of them exited.

    Kingdom of Tollen

The frozen ice tundra was quickly becoming more and more annoying. It was not only difficult to battle here, it was now difficult to see. Zachary had slain two enemies, but that was all. If this was truly to be a prolonged fight, one thing was certain.

There was no way Zachary would survive.

But, that wasn't exactly the case. He wasn't not running into Pokemon because they were too spread out. He wasn't running into them because they were all freezing over. He had encountered almost a dozen bodies of Pokemon that he was supposed to fight. They had frozen over and died. This meant one thing, the round should be soon over, a fact Zachary was very thankful for.

And then he heard it, the sound of sweet victory as the Keeper gathered him and the remaining 15 warriors up, and returned them to the main arena once more. He looked upon the faces of some of them. Some were awfully close to freezing. They must have endured much. Others looked completely fine, most being Ice or water types.

In any case, Zachary returned through the portal, a victor of the first round. He hoped the others had similar luck.

    Vincent Paine "Stingfist"
The climate was hotter than any heat Vincent had ever experienced. The heat waves made blisters appear on the bottom of his feet. He felt thirsty from the moment he had walked in. But he was still sharp. He was a Gold Tribe member, after all. Upon entering, things were quite at first. Vincent seemed to wander for a long time before every seeing anything.

But that soon changed. He encountered his comrade, Fallax, and remembered the plan he had instructed to him earlier. When he said jump, Vincent would jump.

"JUMP!" he heard him shout. Instantly, he leaped into the air as an Earthquake was activated. The Pokemon that were in the location were not only sunk into the attack, but the Earthquake caused the already fragile sand to become quicksand. Ill fate rested upon the Pokemon who had fallen through there.

Vincent nodded at Fallax, acknowledging his tenacity and sheer guts.

"Nice work, Fallax. Come on, let's do this." He said, as they proceeded together to fight off the other combatants.

One Gold Tribe member was tough. Two were borderline insane.

    Hydrulon "Hydra" Rex

Things weren't going well against Pokemon who fought against Hydra, one of the three Leaders of the Order of Alcantus. Hydra turned the scorching of the battlefield into his weapon, and the battlefield of ash, lava, and magma was erupting as Hydra rampaged across the battlefield.

In a battlefield such as this, with Hydra around, it was evident, that only the strong would survive. Such is the Order of Alcantus's way.

Ambrosia watched the Vespiquen grow closer as she maneuvered through the thick forest. She tried to aim a Flamethrower but failed to curve it into the Vespiquen's face. The orb under her neck was a bright red as she sent out another Flamethrower. Vespiquen's Attack Order had taken its toll on her. The bee woman yelled and the Combee and Beedrill surrounded them. She grasped the Blazike and felt a surge of energy. It was as if the energy was being transferred to her. As the attacks flurried around her, she let loose a Flamethrower. Some of the Beedrill fell off and more Combee flew away. It was her and the Vespiquen now. She moved through the forest as silently as she could, trying to keep the Blaziken in balance with her. Losing him was not an option. A plan would have to be thought of, less her lose the first match.

The Dragon flew upward into the air with the Vespiquen hot on her tail. A flash of pink, yellow, and a short red moved throughout the air. The only thing up there was the giant tree. She swerved around it in an effort to outmaneuver the bee but she kept close. She sent out a Hyper Beam that rebounded off the tree near Ambrosia. She felt the skin burn as she took off faster this time. The air battle continued, both sides staying strong. The Vespiquen however soon took the upper hand. She stabbed the tree and watched it tip over taking Ambrosia down with it. It was hard to keep the Blaziken clutched in her arm. She sent out a Thunder Wave and watched it hit the Vespiquen. She stood up straight and froze, like a statue. The Dragonair circled around her, using a Flamethrower. She looked like a giant fire snake, curling around the defenseless creature. She unleashed a ring of blaze. The Vespiquen unfroze and moved out of the way. She had taken some damage from the attack, but nothing she couldn't handle. She moved towards the Dragonair, who had deviously come up with a plan.

She hid the Blaziken in a tree, as this plan would fail with him on her tail. She directed the Vespiquen towards in an open clearing near the fallen tree. She hid behind the tree as the Vespiquen looked around. It was easy to find her and the Vespiquen flew full force. She realized that the Dragonair was planning something and slowed but not before the Thunder Wave froze her again. Then, she went sliding into a small hole in the tree. The hive.

Ambrosia slithered into the hive. A yellow and orange cave like place slathered in sticky liquid. Here, the battle would begin. The Vespiquen flew full force, knowing anything but a physical attack would crumble the hive. Her agile movements were competent. Ambrosia strangled her in her grip, but she loosened her self with a twist of honey. She let loose a Flamethrower, which the Vespiquen stopped with a Defense Order. The Combee fell one by one as Ambrosia's halted. From above her she could hear a buzzing noise.

She watched as hundreds of Beedrill filed into the cave and began to surround her. The heat. She let loose a Flamthrower, which the Vespiquen stopped with a Defense Order once again. But, the honey began to spread through the cave. Only the Vespiquen was smart enough to move away. She stared at Ambrosia as the hive began to crumble. Amrosia watched as the cave began to fall apart. She flew out as the Vespiquen was toppled by pieces of honeycomb. She had succeeded against her first enemy. She went out to search for the Blaziken when she saw it, the portal. What happened to Bellator -er- Toro? She had a hole in her stomach, hoping he was okay. But, if she hadn't taken out that Vespiquen, the Beedrill would have overwhelmed them. She turned away to go see if the Blaziken was okay only to have the Peacekeeper shake his head. She was sucked through the portal.

    Genevieve Demetrius
    Gold Tribe

Genevieve continued to walk, keeping a look out for any Pokemon. Letting any Pokemon get an upper hand could be fatal and she couldn't let that happen. Genevieve wanted to prove to herself she could protect herself. And fight to protect the things she cared about. Like Neptune had done for her, giving everything. Genevieve pushed the thoughts away, knowing this wasn't the place for that. The poison was slowly taking affect, which probably meant the Gligar hadn't injected a lot.

"You......foreigner!" The voice was loud and seemed to be close. But there was something familiar to it, and there was only one Pokemon she knew who called her a foreigner. Genevieve turned around to see a Lucario, the same Lucario who had bumped into her earlier. She had known they'd been sent to the same portal, but seen this place seemed so big, she hadn't expected to find him. Why would he call out to me? He seems more like the type to attack while the Pokemon isn't looking. Genevieve thought.

"Oh?" Genevieve asked as he got into a stance. She hadn't thought he had heard her, but apparently he had. Genevieve didn't regret it, that's what he seemed to be. Though he was most likely an excellent fighter since he's in the tournament. "And what would that be?"

    ****************************

    Annabell Grace

Anna sat there watching the fight. Though, she could only see the battles in the arena. Which, was turning out to be a bloodbath, but the crowd kept cheering. I hope Dylan's ok. And that Zangoose. Anna thought looking around, for any sign of them. None.

Her eyes widened as she felt something go across her neck. And then she heard a voice that chilled her to the bone. "Come along quietly. You don't want to make a scene. Not in front of all these Pokemon."

You're the one that doesn't want a scene. She thought. Without a word Anna got up and walked with him out of the arena. Anna wasn't too surprised that nobody noticed her walking out with a Scyther's claw at her neck. They were all watching the tournament and there was hardly anybody on the streets. Those that were there, pretended not to notice them. Most Pokemon in this city only cared about themselves, not getting involved with others problems.

The Syther, Strike, let her down to the far east side of the city. There were no buildings there, just many caverns that all connected at one point. This is were they lived, deep in the caverns. Anna didn't want to go back, back to where she was treated like a nothing. Smacked around whenever they felt like it. Anna looked up at Strike, she needed to find an opening. That's when Strike took his claw away and went to grab her arm. Anna quickly threw herself backwards and Strike went to grab for her. She aimed and blasted him with an Aqua Jet. The blast of what hit him in the eyes and as he tried to recover, Anna took off running. Believing that if she could get back to the arena she'd be ok. Her plan went aray when she stepped on a spot of ground and fell through. Anna couldn't help, but scream as she fell. She hire the hard ground with her stomach, knocking the wind out of her. She didn't faint or slip out of conscienceness, but was gasping for air.

"Oh?" The Ninetales said, getting into a stance, preparing to fight. "And what would that be?"

Derrick stopped for a moment, thinking about what to say in this scenario. He wasn't much for talking during fights, letting his fists and strength talk for him. But he had accidentally spoken before. A mistake on his part.

"Mmm..." He said, unable to come up with anything cool or remotely interesting to say. He shook his head, and assume his own stance. As he prepared to take off and attack, he wondered what kind of fighter the Ninetales was. Looks like he would soon find out as he charged in, preparing to attack with Close Combat.

However, before he could make his attack, the Keeper assigned to this portal, an Omastar came forward and announced something.

"There are only 16 combatants in this portal! The round is now over for you!" He said in a deep voice.

Instantly, Derrick stopped his attack, looking first at the Keeper, then at the Ninetales who was right in front of him. After observing her close up, he confirmed this was the same Ninetales he had seen before. Her eyes were black to Derrick, but as he observed more closely, they were actually a dark blue. She wore a strange golden insignia on her shoulder, and a red bow on one of her tails. She was, to him, at the very least, a striking Pokemon, and deep down, he was a bit relieved he didn't have to soil his hands by attacking a woman. He never liked to. He had done it on occasion as parts of jobs, but still, it left a bad taste in his mouth.

After realizing Derrick had been staring, he broke his glance from her, and shook his head, making the "tsk" sound. He walked away, heading back towards the direction of the portal. He spoke back to her as he headed away.

"Looks like you lucked out. See you around." He said.

He had avoided having to fight the Ninetales this time around, but she was still in the Tournament. He may run into her again. But he would do what he has to. For the Ultimate Prize, he'd do any job, no matter how dirty or despicable.

    Lorenzo "The Speedster" Aria
    Kingdom of Tollen
Lorenzo recovered from the dark pulse only to find Darkrai launching more in all directions. Lorenzo barely dodged the ones closest to him. One beam had hit the ground before Nova and sent her flying off the cliff.

"Nova!!!" Lorenzo cried ready to jump off the cliff to catch her.

Luckily however Nova had saved herself with psychic power.

"Your going to regret that..." Lorenzo said menacingly.

He extreme speeded towards Darkrai, but the dark legend simply grabbed him and flung him into the mountain side when he was close. Lorenzo slid down the side of the mountain and slumped on the ground in pain. The Darkrai snickered and approached ready to finish him... when suddenly... a massive boulder came tumbling down bashing Darkrai to the side and injuring him. Upon closer inspection it appeared that the boulder was actually the friendly Golem from before. Lorenzo looked up at him and nodded. The Golem began hurling boulders at Darkrai, distracting him long enough for Lorenzo to ram his side with extreme speed. Darkrai was pushed back, and was very angry all of a sudden. He fired a dark pulse which launched the Golem off the cliff.

    "No..." Lorenzo murmured.

He turned to Darkrai, it was his turn to be angry.

He charged a small volt switch in his arm and extreme speeded towards Darkrai, narrowly dodging a barage of dark pulses. He rammed into Darkrai and grabbed him with all his might, he then used Fly to pull Darkrai up into the sky. Finnaly he took his volt switch and rammed it into Darkrais chest propelling him into the ground and severely weakening him. Using the burst of energy from volt switch he landed himself a few meters from Nova.

"Now Nova!" He cried to his friend, telling her that now was the time to finish him.

Dylan's mentor charged himself with Swords Dance, powering up his attack damage by a whole chunk, then finished the Machamp with a strong, swift Aerial Ace, slicing through his body, taking his life on the spot. The scene wasn't that comfortable, but Dylan had to get used to blood in order to fight, so he looked without chickening out. Kaiser's finishing blow was rather cruel, but then again, it was survival of the fittest. It was kill...or be killed. Nobody had a choice in this dark tournament. His mentor, Kent Reed, no matter how strong he was, had no choice but to kill or disable enemies before him, in order to win and get the Ultimate Power. It's amazing what people do in order to win and get into the next round. Some talked deals and formed groups, and some shredded people into pieces upon eye contact. This was a cruel tournament, and the number of casualties will be much higher. Despite that, Dylan was expecting it. And he was willing to take the risk, no matter what the odds were. After a short while, the Machamp was dead, and the Kabutops summoned a return portal, announcing out loud with a smile on his face.

"There are only 16 of you left." The Keeper said, glancing at the bodies scattered across the place, "Congratulations. You have all move on to the next round." The remaining contestants exchanged glances, and Dylan scanned the arena with his eyes, observing the others. The Medicham he fought earlier managed to pull it through, and some others looked powerful. Judging by their appearances and features, Dylan was the youngest in this arena, or maybe, he was the youngest in the whole tournament...l

"You did well, Dylan." Kaiser spoke from behind, smiling, patting him on the back, which stung Dylan a bit because his wounds were still rather fresh. Smiling back, Dylan nodded proudly, and watched as the others exited the arena. When they were all gone, Dylan and Kaiser left as well, leaving the Kabutops alone in the arena. What was he going to do? What about the bodies and injured ones? Then Dylan imagined himself lying unconscious on the ground. Then, the Kabutops arrived, grabbed his arm, and flung him off the Spire...

Shuddering about the thought, Dylan picked up his pace and walked towards the portal. Near the portal, Dylan found a hyper potion on the floor, barely used, and sprayed it onto himself, healing his back wounds, his muscle pain disappearing as he leaped into the portal with his mentor behind. He was brought back to the 'lobby' where the other portals all led to. And people were slowly walking out from it, the survivors proud and happy. Looking around, Dylan was worried. Anna wasn't here. Could she even come up here? Dylan wondered if she was alright....

    Duchess Caitlyn Charporé
    Kingdom of Tollen

The Druddigon roared a rather deafening battle cry and started charging towards Caitlyn. Its scaly claws emitted a blue light as it lunged towards her. She sprung into the air, in a bid to counter-attack with a Bullet Seed. However, the Druddigon got to her unexpectedly fast and slashed her across the flank with its claws. She shrieked for a short while before bouncing back to her feet and ferociously slapping the dragon left and right. She flicked her long white tail into an arch above her head, and soon, a radiant aura sparkled briefly and her tail was coated in swirling water. The Druddigon grunted as it heaved over a concrete wall and started grinding its rough claws against the wall, making little embers puffed out and irritating screeches. The Duchess eyed it harshly, her drenched tail shuffling over the ground like a serpent waiting to land an attack. The Dragon-type Pokemon stopped whatever it was doing and turned back, seemingly a tad confused as to why the chinchilla was still standing strong. Maybe it had a little bit of a memory problem.

Not the least perturbed, it puffed a sigh and started to inhale in strong deep breaths, as it did so, a luminous violet aura formed from within its body and out in its mouth. Its chest gave a final heave and the aura blasted out, materializing into an indigo inferno that razed across the streets, zigzagging towards Caitlyn. That was she struck, her rushing tail slammed right into the heart of the earth and the waters traveled to the ground in big choppy waves. The currents extinguished the flames of the Dragon Rage and a large wave collided with great impact against the Druddigon. It bellowed in agony, its prickly hide bruised by the shoving waters. Eager to get pass this round, the Cinccino whipped her dual fluffs out with seeds and started firing a volley of pellets at the Druddigon, who was lumbering towards, gearing up for another move it had. The little devious seeds pelted mercilessly against the Druddigon who happened to be able to take it all, and that slightly marveled Caitlyn. She let loose another rage of Nature's babies at the Cave Pokemon and the Bullet Seed severely grazed it. Its tail flashed a burst of reflective metal light as the scales around it hardened into a compact shade of grey. The Duchess simply stood there at her spot, while the Druddigon thumped its steel-hard tail at her. She was knocked flat to the ground, and instead of retaliating, however, the chinchilla started pressing her body against the Druddigon's, rubbing against its hide. She made a noise that sounded similar to a Skitty's purr and the dragon took it all in with surprise. Her flawless beauty and charm produced sparks that could only be seen or most likely imagined, in the Druddigon's eyes. Those waves of energy emanated and sizzled out from her fur, entrancing her opponent. While it was still in its fantasy land, the Cinccino swiftly cut her act and then, vehemently smacked the Druddigon. She first slapped him across his jaws, momentarily snapping him out of his daydreams, and then proceeded to create hefty bruises and damage to her waste of a foe. By the final strike, the dragon was unconscious on the floor and Caitlyn Charpore picked up a metallic cover of a trash bin from a nearby alley and clocked the blacked-out Druddigon with it.

The Duchess gazed around, spotting a Dewott in the distance and then started hurrying over to him. Once she reached Sir Jinkiro, the same Cradily keeper shuffled across from around a corner towards them. "The round has ended. That Druddigon was the last combatant to be eliminated. You may now proceed to the next round." The Cinccino looked at Sir Shiro, a faint gleam of relief and success in her round eyes. She smiled mildly and mumbled, "Let us leave this portal, shall we?"

    Tennille Nakumi
    Region of Argos

The day dawns in the Arena where Tennille was in. There, she saw a variety of fellow pokemon such as herself. She surveyed left and right to see the variety of opponents and strength levels she would have to face. Then, most of them already started fighting. Pretty soon, someone called Tennille out to start a match. "Ey' big lips!" one of them said; it was a a Toxiccroak, looking as smug as any other dirtbag Tennille faced in her boxing days. "What's a girlie like you doin' here? Hm, well, I guess it can't be helped. Come on, then! Show me a punch. That is, if yer' thunder tits dun' get in the way!"

"OH. HELL. NAW." Tennille scafed, getting her paws ready. "I hope your ready, fool! Cause Tennille's gonna slap the TASTE right out j'our mouth! When you tell your momma that you can't taste your breakfast, that's cause Tennille knocked the TASTE out of you!"

    "Bring it."

Toxicroak began to dash towards her. He stuck out his right hand, and as it glowed a vibrant purple, he was prepared to perform a poison jab attack. Tennille prepared to counter of an attack of her own; she released a radiant amount of energy from her left paw, performing a Fire Punch attack to counter. The two attacks collided, which it was pretty much a stalemate. Then, Tenille prepared his right paw, srunched it into a fist, then threw it towards Toxicroak in a clockwise-motion. It was her Drain Punch attack. The attack knocked Toxicroak away a few feet, which knocked the wind out of him. Toxicroak shook his head in order to gain composure, pulling himself back together from the attack, however, it was plenty of time for Tennille to take a deep breathe in...and then take a deep breath out. It was Bulk Up; an attack that raised Tennille's attack, and Defense.

Toxicroak then made his had ready to perform a chop; then, he ran up to Tennille once more. Toxicroak raised its hand in the air, and then threw it down towards Tennille performing a Karate Chop. Tennille was quick though; she blockd it with her right elbow, which in turn left Toxicrak in a limbo. Tennille then quickly punched Toxicroak's lower gut, performing her DIzzy Punch attack. It knocked away Toxicroak as he flew a few feet, and landed hard towards the ground, seemed to be knocked out. Tennille smiled a cocky grin as she observed the knocked out Toxicroak.

"Alright, ya'll!" Tennille announced. "Any more of ya'll want some of this?"

    Replicus Decendas
    Gold Tribe

The sand collapsed, absorbing all the contestants above him into the sand. They were all knocked out.

"Nice work, Fallax. Come on, let's do this." Stingfist said, and Replicus winked at him.

"All in a days work," He said.

Replicus jumped out of the sand, and transformed into a Pidgeot. He knew it was a risk, specially with the heat. He had to endure it, so that he could track down the Pokemon.

He pointed to is back, and let Stingfist climb onto it. He took off, and started to track down Pokemon. He saw a bunch of Pokemon in the distance, and raced towards them, then dropped Stingfist near them.

"Handle them! See you at the end!" Replicus yelled.

He flew off, and tracked more Pokemon. He saw a huge Onix nearby, smacking Pokemon away, knocking them out. He flew towards it, and on top his head, transformed into a Throh, and landed on his head. Instantly, Fallax started to punch his head, causing rocks to get chipped off.

"Puny bug! Fight fairly!" The Onix yelled.

"Hey, it isn't my fault you don't have hands." Replicus said, and punched him hard.

"GRAAAAAH!" The Onix let out a loud cry, and dived into the ground. Replicus held on, and as soon as they hit the sand he transformed into Excadrill.

He held on, as the Onix rushed around inside the sand. He then jumped out, thinking that Replicus had fallen. When he emerged out, he said, "Hehe, puny bug thinking he can defeat me."

Replicus found a crack near his neck, and thrust his drill into it. The Onix screamed loudly, then collapsed in onto the ground, sinking into the sand. Replicus transformed again, and started to search for more opponents.

Desert Portal- Closed, City Portal- Closed, Ocean Portal- Closed

A Keeper, an Armaldo, approached Fallax.

"There are 16 combatants left. You have advanced to the next round." said the Keeper, as he opened the portal back again, and let out all of the survivors.

Kent waited in front of the lobby area where the other portals were. From there, he could see the main arena, and the fighting that was going on over there. He noticed a strong looking Kangaskhan there, fighting. He had a feeling she was a dangerous one.

As he waited, the Desert Portal, where two of his Gold Tribe member were, had been activated once more, which meant the round was over for them. Soon, he saw Stingfist and Fallax come out, relatively unharmed.

"Fallax! Stingfist! You made it to the next round as well! Good work!" He said, grinning at them. He then noticed as Ambrosia appeared out of the now activated Forest Portal. Bellator hadn't come out yet, but Kent expected him too soon.

"Tactician. Good work." He said, nodding to her. "Your father would be proud."

As he conversed with his Gold Tribe members, he noticed someone in a hood watching him looking at him. At first, he mistaked him for a Keeper, as he had robes similar to the ones the Keepers wore, but he wasn't one of them. He noticed that he stood next to Regigigas. Instantly, Kent's demeanor changed, as he stared at the hooded Pokemon. It looked like a battle formed in his mind, as the two apparently attempted to stare down each other. But then, the other one broke his look, and walked off.

Kent returned his attention to the Gold Tribe in front of him. He pointed to Dylan, who was standing there with him.

"This little one packed a punch as well. He may be young, but he can fight."

Zachary waited among the other survivors from the other portals. He was the first one back out of his group. He was a bit anxious at first, wondering how they did. Not all of them, after all, were fighters. At least not as a natural profession. That was to the best of his knowledge. Still, he was thinking that maybe they were alright.

Suddenly, one more portal was activated again, the City Portal. Fighters began to walk out of there. Zachary held his breath for a moment, waiting to see Shiro and the Duchess.
