Anyways the drabble is behind a spoiler in case some people can't stomach the pairing.

"Red-san really does love pokemon..." The girl, who sat elegantly with her hands folded across her lap remarked.

The spike-haired trainer nodded, still patting the Piplup on the head. Despite that it was a species he had never seen before, and it pecked him when he first tried to pet it, his love for pokemon had never deterred him from trying to befriend them.

He did tame that pikachu, after all.

"Looks like it's gotten used to me, haha." Red said, recalling how he had ended up with a bruised knuckle on their first encounter, when he thought it was a wild pokemon. "You've improved as a trainer as well, I can tell."

The girl hid a slight pinkness in her cheeks by looking away.

"If...if it is alright with you..." She started, appalled at her own stuttering since her upbringing would never allow it. "Would...would you like to come to my mansion sometimes and have tea?"

The older boy straightened up and looked at the sitting girl.

"Sure, I'd love to." He said, flashing--no, that's not quite right for something so natural-- giving a warm smile. Her heart did a little flutter, but she composed herself.

"Can...can you tell me about your adventures in Kanto region? I've never been there, it would be wonderful to hear about it directly from the league champion himself...Of course, I'd like to hear other things about you as well..." That was a long speech, Platina, do practice some prudence. She chided herself.

This time it was Red's turn to look slightly embarrassed, but nevertheless a little proud of himself. He scratched the back of his head. Did he have no choice now? Or was it an obligation he was not exactly reluctant to fulfill?

"I'll try." He answered, half-chuckling, "Though it's not that amazing I'm sure."

Platina put a hand to her lips and stifled a giggle. "You needn't be so modest."

There was an odd sort of silence between them, not exactly awkward, but perhaps...the forming of something mutual?

"Well then." The girl stood up, the piplup ran to her side, puffing out its chest to seem bigger. "Should we go...?"

The older boy nodded.

It wasn't a bad decision to come to Sinnoh, after all.

Note: I'm aware that Platina's piplup evolved into empoleon already, I just thought piplups are cuter. My gosh this was hard, Red and Platina doesn't have much in common...But that's why it's a crack pairing :D It wasn't as fluffy as I could've made it but that would render it into some kind of fluff-without-plot thing, which I dislike.

OK, now you can't pick number 5 and 7 anymoooorreee.

I can't think of anyas anime-dub-sounding as Chamo and Pika's. ;; And I can't remember half of the original chapter names.

Although I know that "The Best of Red" and "The Best of Yellow" had extremely corny chapter names, like 'Eradicate Radicate' and 'You Know, Articuno!'. XD
