Now that I think about it, this topic can be a bit sexist. Sorry.

Lul, I've been thinking about cross-cannon counterparts after I saw that comic of Red and Ash's maturity comparison. I REALLY think that EVERY PokeSupe character should have a counter part in the anime. (preferably Yellow and Blue xD)

If they ever decide to remake Pokemon Yellow, they should have Yellow as the female playable protagonist. I'd LOVE that!

Do not worry about it. The topic is rather interesting and is something to think about. Well Blue already has a game counterpart whose default name is Leaf. Note that Leaf predates Blue, but she was not able to be incoparate in the Generation I games for some reason. If you look on Blue's page on serebii it explains that. I am wondering why Leaf do not appear in the anime during the Kanto Battle Frontier Saga. I do not know they would incoperate Yellow in the anime and games since she is an exclusive to Pokemon Special, but personally I wish the writers of Pokemon Special would give Yellow some new clothes. I am not say they have to change her clothes every day but at least in every arc she appears in.

I saw the information about the new Platinum arc on serebii. That is really good that they are seperating the story. And finally we get to see the Frontier Brains in
Special even though they have not made an official appearance. I also glad we get to Marley, Mira, Buck, Cheryl. Handsome made an official appearance though. It also mention that Flint and Volkner made an appearance as well but there are no pictures of them as of yet.

There really aren't that many good PokeSupe fics out there, or at least on FF.Net. Out of the five million I've seen, there are only a few worth reading. Watching PokeSupe characters act OOC is frightening, although that's pretty much true for every fandom~

I agree. It's really depressing.

I'm not sure how to explain this, but it seems like Platinum has an arc all of her own..since this mentions the Distortion/Torn world, Giratina, Pluto/Charon, and Detective Handsome/Looker.... (although, I'm not sure if this arc takes place after the current arc or if it's inbetween...)

It also mentions the resort house, the Battle frontier and the other trainers (Mira, Cheryll, Buck, Marley, and of course Riley.)

Oh, and it shows what Diamond is doing too. (He's saving his mum from Mars.)

Dialga and palkia fused statue. When i just started to think nah its impossible to make something good looking come out of it when BAM april plot comes and smacks us.

Wow thats nice. if you havent heard the DP arc is seperate from the platinum arc. Also in the april plot well there is this kick ass statue. Sorry if known im a bit back you guys. ^_^

I think Platinum might have her own arc, that focuses more on Orgin Form Giratina, Detective Handsome/Looker, Pluto/Charon, the Fronteir Brains, and other things.

Also, Steven makes a small cameo in this new arc. He was the previous owner of the resort house, but it seems Platinum bought it. :3 (that makes sense.)

A bit more on the Platinum series. Actually, I was a bit mistaken in my last post. It is not Looker who is in search of trainers that hold info on the Distortion World, but Platinum is. Looker is just in search of info on the 'bad guys' as he put it, and the two of them made a pact to team up on finding such 'trainers'.

That said, the Platinum series may actually connect to the DP arc. Perhaps after Team Galactic bomb the lakes, something about the Distortion World will pop up and prompt Platinum to go on such a quest? Or perhaps, much later, when the trio end up having their showdown on Spear Pillar, Dia and Pearl will try to protect Platinum (as they've promised) and got sucked into the Distortion World somehow, which might explain why Platinum is on her own trying to find info on this world? (kinda like how the writers temporarily disabled Gold and Silver and let Crystal have a plot on her own first ) Just a random speculation of mine though.

Anyway, for Grade 5, we see Jupiter totally overpowering the three girls. She claims that she does not mingle with Mars and Saturn even though they are a trio, and interestingly, there are certain ways she acts in this chapter that reminds me of our eyebrowless friend in FRLG. Apart from her overtly confident attitude and calm demeanor, when referring to an attack of Sableye, she said 'That ended up with an unexpected effect'. This exact same phrase was said by Storc when her 'attack' petrified the Dex Holders.

Meanwhile, the three shuttle planes of Team Galactic were dispatched to the three lakes, but only one of them carries the Galactic Bomb. Dia tries to find his Mom at Lake Verity and send Beh to do it since TG will probably treat it as a wild Pokemon only. He himself plans to disable the shuttle (by using Fantina's Drifblim which he has yet to return to her). However, they soon find that Mars has found Dia's Mom first...

I agree with the bolded paragraph.

Maybe Pearl and Diamond become disappear for a while (much like Gold and Siver did) and Platinum gets her chance to shine. (Because, up until now, she was pretty much a secondary character.)

What would the Pokemon Special characters be like if they were their opposite gender?

Mm...

Red: *cough* An atheletic tomboy, hyper and a bit loud. ^^ Sweet and down to earth too.
Green: A kinda quiet and smart girl. A bit more sympathetic, not as cold.
Blue: A mischievous boy who likes flirting.
Yellow: Not very different. But just a bit less shy. (not that she is, now that I think about it)
Gold: Flirty and clever. Now she can use her feminine charm to seduce guys. xD
Silver: Quiet and soft spoken, but still pretty cold.
Crys: Not as...naggy (lol). Still atheletic of course.
Ruby: Um...this is kinda needless to say....he'd just be himself!
Sapphire: Yeah...^^^^
Emerald: Dunno, maybe a bit go-getting. xD

I'm just wondering if all the legendaries are going to fit it. The fourth generation as too many fricken' legendaries for my taste (I wish they would they would save some for the fifth which I'm sure they're going to make) and I don't see how they're possibly all going to make screentime in only two arcs. I mean the third gen had ten and it took three arcs to fit them all in. I just pray that they'll really make a remake of Gold/Silver (which I'll totally get if it does) because that'll make life for the writers a bit easier...

Whoops. But I really didn't see it much as a spoiler. More like me just ranting about the over-excessive-ness of legendaries of the fourth generation. Sorry about that, though.

Maybe we should wait and be patient to see if there will be a Gold and Silver remake game. I notice that the Pokemon Special arc follows each game in the order it was release so if there were going to be another Johto arc it would come after the Platinum arc that is if Gamefreak are making the Gold and Silver remake games. I agree with you that fourteen legendaries are a lot of Pokemon, but the fifth generation will most likely have there own legendary Pokemon. Personally I would also like if there was another Johto arc and see Gold, Silver, and Crystal as the main characters again and in new clothing.

I just hope though that all of the 13 Pokedex Holders do not meet at the Battle Frontier because there last reunion was at the Hoenn Battle Frontier and if the all meet up at the Sinnoh Battle Frontier it will just be a sign of repetitiveness in my opinion. Do not get me wrong I want them all to meet up eventually just not in a similar place. I think I am going to enjoy the Platinum arc and Platinum is one of my favorite characters. I also wonder what other Pokemon has Platinum caught. I wonder when the writers will show us that.

i really hope they don't make the GSC remake those were the best Pokemon games so there isin't anything to add to the best and why do people want another arc of Silver being emo they should give Red another arc then the manga will sell like last time =P

This is why I do not like talking about this. It always lead to flaming and bashing. I am also sick of people not taking me seriously and that happens on almost single topic that leds to arguments. I do not even want to talk about this subject anymore I am just going to keep all of it to myself since some people cannot voice there criticism without flaming or bashing. I also prefer you not to say that they were the best games because that is opinionated.
