Hello! I'm new to the community and would really love to join. Pokespe is one of my favorite manga, and I've been lurking here for awhile before finally gathering the courage to ask if I can join.

So, may I join...?

The Platinum arc is running the same as the DP arc is. I know, it's confusing to me too.

Well, in the magazines and Netkun, the DP arc and Platinum arc were running together but

Recently, the D/P arc ended in the magazine, so the rest of the arc should be serialized into the actual manga soon. As for the Platinum arc, it has not been serialized, but they are not showing any more plot things in Corocoro because of the HG/SS arc, so instead, it will be serialized once all the chapters of the D/P arc have been made into manga.
So, I hope that clears some things up.

hmm that's weird, I can't find anything about the platinum arc though (like which volume it is)
and mangafox has only up to the DP arc I think

And the scanlations/scans on mangafox are ONLY from the serialized manga from Chuang Yi or the Japanese versions, so that's why some of the info we already know about isn't on MangaFox.

Heh, just for good times sake, I started rereading the GSC arc. I forgot how young Gold looks almost like a Pinocchio. Looking at the new upcoming arc with an older Gold and Silver makes me happy indeed.

Silver's side of the story first:
-Silver arrives at the safari zone.
-Eusine is there too, and he's selling artwork of Suicune (geezus Eusine, you're being pathetic now. This is almost as worse as when you thought you can attract Suicune by "imitating the call of another Suicune.)
-Silver and Weavile are in the Safari zone, but Silver puts him away after Eusine yelled at him for using a pokemon in the safari zone.
-Petrel/*whatever the hell his Japanese name was* attacks Silver, wanting the plate that he has.
-Silver finds out Petrel has two plates, and he's about give him the plate, but he also asks him how many plates there are.

...I want to know what happened to Giovanni though...


Gold's side of the story now:
Ok, first of, I think this part of the story takes place before his fight with Arceus. I'm guessing Silver's side of the story is happening first, and Gold's side is happening sometime in between.
-Gold is participating in the PokeAthelon with Whitney using Explotaro, Aitaro (who is an Aipom in this part, so yeah, this happens before), and....damn, I forgot who else he uses...
-The Johto E4 arrives, which is made up of Bruno, Koga, Wil and Karen (see? they did turn good after all. ^u^ )
-They challenge Gold to a competition in the PokeAthelon. =w= yay PokeAthelon~
-After their competition, Bruno asks him why he's really there, and Gold says that he is waiting for Lance, who is going to tell him about Arceus.

Also no sign of Crys, Kotone, whatever. =w=

ooh this is making me really excited about HGSS arc, some of my favorite characters are returning! :D

haha Eusine's so funny, and I thought he would've given up his obsession after Suicune chose Kris as its battle partner back in the GSC arc
he looks a little different though, myabe because they drew lines for his hair now

I was looking at some of the scans from the GSC arc, and Silver looks so small compared to the new HGSS scans xD
oh, and does anyone know if the gym leaders will appear in this arc? I want to see Morty in his new design :D
