Welcome to the Water type Pokémon fan club. Whether you only use the Water Pokémon because they're essential to your journey, frequently uses them in battle because they're pretty cool, or if you simply adore and admire them because they're the most awesome typing ever, this is the right place.

    Rules

    - All PC rules apply, of course.

    - Every member is to be respected; no matter their PC rank, group rank, or social status.

    - All members are allowed to start topics, but if a topic has just been started, give people time to reply to that one first.

    - You may only choose one partner Pokémon upon joining, one which of course has to be a Water type.

    - Please try to keep discussion inside of the topics. Off-topic discussions are allowed, but they don't always contribute that much, and can occasionally end up changing the discussion completely.

    - If you do not intend to post more than a few posts in this club, please refrain from joining the club. Getting a filled member list with only a few active members is not a goal of this group. You may still join in discussion, though, even if you aren't a member of the club.

    Current Topics and Quick Questions

    Topics

What is your favorite Water type move? (To use and the look of the attack when used in battle).

Which is your favourite Water type starter?

Are there any Pokémon you think should/shouldn't have been a Water type? Which ones and why?

    Quick Questions
(Questions usually answered with short, undetailed answers.)

Have you ever taught any of your Pokémon 'Hydro Pump?'

    Additional information

Now, the position as the owner of the Water Pokémon fan club is a pretty much wanted one, and therefore I want you all to say it if you don't think I'm managing the club good enough.

Co-owners will be selected when needed, chosen by me.

I will be adding a points system later on, and I already have a general idea of what it's gonna be based on, but I'm still open for suggestions, so if you have any, leave me a VM.

There won't be any give-aways in this club, since I no longer own any Pokémon games, but who knows, maybe someone is generous enough to offer some Pokémon.

Everyone is allowed to submit banners and userbars for the club, and will of course be rewarded once the point system is inserted.

Kicking it all off, we're starting with a simple topic:

What is your least favourite Water type Pokémon, and why don't you like it?

Remember that you can all start topics, so feel free to start one whenever you like, just remember to give other topics some time :D

Cheerfully optimistic start! I think my least favourite Water type is Huntail... That thing is grotesque! The other evolution Gorebyss is beautiful, cute and a great battler, so Huntail has never really had much of a chance in my mind...

Welcome to the club you two. I would put you on the list Azumarill, but I'm experiencing some difficulties with editing the first post atm D:
[EDIT] Everything is fixed and you're added to the list

Anyways, what is it that you like so much about the water types? Is it the design, their moves, or something else?

Cheerfully optimistic start! I think my least favourite Water type is Huntail... That thing is grotesque! The other evolution Gorebyss is beautiful, cute and a great battler, so Huntail has never really had much of a chance in my mind...
I'd have to agree with you on Huntail. To be honest, I think it's the most hideous Pokémon of them all, and that's saying a lot! I'm not entirely sure, but I think they may be based on a species of fish with a big difference in appearances between genders, but I could be wrong.

Welcome to the club, PokemonLady. It's great that we're getting so many members so fast n_n I'll add you to the list in a moment.
Anyways, looks like you chose Golduck as your partner, was there any specific reason for this, or was it just the first thing that came to mind? Enjoy your time here, and I hope you'll stay active :D

There has been several Water type groups, but the latest one got closed by request of the owner, so I went ahead and remade it :)

Hmm, I think it's time for a new topic? ^^

New topic: 'Which Water type Pokemon do you find cutest?'

For me the answer is a hard choice between Horsea and Wooper. Horsea is naturally incredibly cute and sooo huggable, but Wooper is easy to make cute based on its action and behavior. I think I'd probably sway more towards Wooper, because despite Horsea having those adorable eyes and such a cute anatomy, it couldn't look this good in a santa hat:

I'd say the cutest water Pokemon is one of the newest: Oshawott. I just love the look and his emotions on the anime ^^ Definitely the cutest, in my opinion.

That Wooper is really cute, Alex, and I agree that no other Pokémon would look so cute in a Santa hat. But my choice is honestly a tie between Poliwag and Marill. Poliwag's mouth-nose thing plus the adorable eyes just make it look super cute, and the disproportionate feet just adds to the cuteness n_n
With Marill the eyes play a big role too, but the ears and the cute tail is what puts it on the top of my list, because they're just so super adorable <33

Oshawott also makes it towards the top as the cutest of them all on my list, but not quite enough. It's personality and actions in the animé are definitely cute, though :D

    Spoiler:
Very cute pics there, Avishka, and I agree with Vaporeon as one of the Water types. The cat-fish combination is truely unique, and they even made it a super cute one. Vaporeon couldn't have gotten a better design n_n

One of my favorite things that Oshawott has ever done is this:

    OSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ... wot.
