Threads like these, which request help with team development and such, are best posted in the section called Pokemon Strategies & Movesets. Please be sure to request assistance with your Pokemon movesets in Pokemon Strategies & Movesets, in the future. ^^

Annnd on that note, I'm going to move this to the Incomplete Team Help / Request a Moveset Sticky. Seeing as this isn't anywhere near our guidelines and requirements for a thread. (And also moving, of course, because mods can't move threads into stickies of other forums)

    Moved~

Changes are in bold. Can I get your planned EV spread on these guys? Also, for the sixth poke, don't make it something that will best benefit from holding a Life Orb because 4 Life Orbs is too much, 3 is even a little heavy, and you might want to change the Life Orb on Gyarados to a Leftovers. This team is really very standard for OU, and it won't get anywhere if you keep it as standard as it is now.

Don't ever use Sludge Bomb on gar because its coverage is rather poor, and you should be using Focus Blast / Thunderbolt over it, and the other move instead of Energy Ball, because it doesn't have STAB plus poor coverage. =/

Just my personal preference, but Seismic Toss can be used as the last move on Blissey so you can do better against special sweepers.

    You can haz Thunderbolt?

    @Higuy,

imo, you're team packs too much life orb, the recoil will end up severly crippling you when you need your sweepers to survive, also on Salamnce, imo, Fire Fang is better than Fire Blast, because you can then reinvest those Sp.A EV's and after a +1 DD boost, Fire Fang does more damage anyways.

    Lead/Physical Wall: Metagross@ Leftovers
    Nature : Adamant

    Stealth Rock
    Meteor Mash
    Bullet Punch
    Explosion

BP lets you pick off weakened Pokemon and Explosion is to take out threats.

    Sp. Wall: Blissy@ Leftovers
    Nature : Calm

    Softboiled
    Thunder Wave
    Ice Beam
    Seismic Toss

Add those on and you're good :)

    Physical Sweeper:Gyarados@Life Orb/Leftovers
    Nature : Adamant/Jolly

    Dragon Dance
    Waterfall
    Stone Edge
    Earthquake

This is an abomination!! NO EQ on Gyarados is a bad idea. Ice Fang isn't really needed, LO offers more power while Lefties offers some recovery.

    Sp. Sweeper: Gengar@ Choice Scarf
    Nature : Modest/Timid

    Thunderbolt
    HP Ice
    Shadow Ball
    Focus Blast

That Gengar was ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! ScarfGar should give you a good revenge-killer.

    Physical Sweeper: Salamence@ Life Orb
    Nature : Adamant

    Outrage
    Dragon Dance
    Fire Fang
    Earthquake

Alright Fire Fang deals more after a DD then Fire Blast.
Team is a bit shaky so I fixed it up :)
You team really needs to set up to be scary so I'd suggest something like CBTar for your last slot. SpecsLuke isn't a bad choice either.

    @ Choice Specs
    -Nature: Modest
    -Ability: Torrent
    -EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 6 DEF
    -Movepool:
    Hydro Pump
    Earth Power
    Ice Beam
Hidden Power [Rock] / Hidden Power [Electric]

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the most part, this is a Special Sweeping Swampert I want to use. However, I'm at a crossroads in regards to HP and DEF EVs as well as which Hidden Power to choose (namely coverage).

I want to keep him as Bulky as possible while utilizing his Sweeping potential, but he'll need all the Special Attack he can get. I didn't want to use Surf to add more coverage, and being hit by a Choiced Hydro Pump with STAB and Torrent can get real nasty. I know that HP Electric saps 1 Special Attack IV while HP Rock saps 1 Defense IV, which is another issue I'm having to decide the most effective trade-off; I don't think it'll make a significant difference.

There's no real reason to use Choice Specs Swampert when he has a pretty good physical movepool and a good base 110 Atk (as high as Lucario's, if I may). Not to mention, Specs Swampert is walled silly by Blissey, Snorlax, and just about every decent special wall out there. Heck, Hypno and Grumpig could do the job (even though they're UU).

I'm looking for an interesting set for Tropius. I can't decide between Chlorophyll or Solar Power.
If possible, I'd also like good sets (not Tropius) that include Sunny Day, but aren't Grass or Fire type :P

Not sure if this goes here

can Toxicroak pull off a late game sweeper role in OU?

If so, a set could be really handy

You can go with either the Swords Dance or Nasty Plot Sweepers. I prefer the latter.

    The standard SD set is:

Toxicroak@Life Orb/Wide Lens (for CC and Stone Edge)
    Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Spd (The 4 Def achieves minimal Life Orb recoil if you have a 31 HP IV)
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Swords Dance
    - Cross Chop
    - Stone Edge
    - Sucker Punch/X-Scissor

Of course Sucker Punch gives you better coverage and makes you harder to revenge-kill, but X-Scissor lets you hit Celebi properly.

This is my variation on the NP Set, as I find it's far more effective than the standard:

    Toxicroak@Life Orb/Wide Len
    Ability: Dry Skin
    EVs: 4 Def, 252 SAtk, 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)/Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Nasty Plot
    - Focus Blast
    - Shadow Ball
    - Vacuum Wave/Sludge Bomb

Vaccum Wave is damn potent after a NP and possibly Life Orb. Sludge Bomb is an alternate Stab, but it's not recommended. Modest is prefered. Focus Blast severely dents anything, and Vacuum Wave can clean up the HP they have left. :D This is better in UU. Consider Infernape, which plays better.

    Currently:

    Murkrow @[n/a]
    Lvl. 27

    Lax

    -Assurance
    -Pursuit
    -Wing Attack

    Any help - greatly appreciated.

This isn't for in-game rates. We assist players with competitive movesets here. If this is for Competitive, I suggest you research into IVs, EVs and Natures before making a decision, as you seem to be unaware of any of the aforementioned.

lol, Is someone sleepy? He's got a Vappy.

Skyeye Blaze - You're really going to need to give us more to work with. If you understand all of the required mechanics, then post an RMT. If you're unsure what that entails, read the Strategies & Movesets Sticky Threads.
