Shiny Design Discussion

Isn't the title self-explanatory? This is for discussing shiny Pokemon designs. Discuss anything about them, from your favorite/least favorite designs, to how you think some shinies should be colored.

My favorite shiny designs are Charizard (Black Charizard, how can you go wrong?!), the Beldum line (silver body, gold cross and claws looks awesome!), Rayquaza (Black Rayquaza = awesome), Giratina (just, wow), Scolipede (love it!), and Haxorus (again, a black dragon).

I like shiny Gallade because blue looks good on it. Shiny Haxorus also reminds me of shiny Charizard. My least favorite shiny forms are Sneasel, Weavile, Krokorok and Krookodile; their colors are just too bright and pink and yellow don't suit Dark Pokemon like the Sneasel line.

Uh, I think you meant 'colors'? Because the designs are the same. ;P

As for me, I like pretty much every shiny that has a good amount of difference in the colors compared to the original. Hence, I don't really like more simplistic color differences. Here are some examples:

Okay shiny

Boring shiny

In other words, the less the variation of the colors of a pokemon, the more difference the shiny color must be. Shinies are shinies, though, so anything among them is already super rare.

That's nitpicky, colors are part of design. :(

I really love shiny Haxorus. Seriously best shiny ever. Rayquaza is also great. Tbh I wouldn't mind if every Pokemon just had a black/one color shiny, that would be more than enough for me.

Anything Black makes my day. Its just so COOL! Yep, especially the Shiny Haxorus and Charizard.

I was just thinking of this...the point of shinies was to showcase their ability to make colors on a game system. Yet the favorites of a lot of people are the ones that turn black. Which is a color they would have had even on the original Gameboy. Lol.

I don't have particular shinies I'm fond of, but what I dislike is when similar colours are used together like this:

In my opinion normal looks way better!

Black shines FTW. (Except Dragonite, which is actually more of crap green color)

Black shinies are serious business, m'kay?

My least favorite types of shinies are those of puke green colored ones (ex, Espeon, Jolteon), bar Mewtwo. Mewtwo is forever the coolest pokemon on the whole planet, no matter what. Don't argue on it. I also don't like ones that have barely any difference in color. (ex. Garchomp, Blissey)

I like Voltorb and Electrode's shiny forms also.

My Favorite shiny's are...
Lucario = just love the look of him in gold/yellow
Haxorus = looks pretty beastly in dark colors
Charizard = same it looks pretty damn awesome in black
Metagross = I love the silver/gold look on it

The best Shinies IMO are the ones that are Bright Yellow.
Gorebyss
Accelgor
Azumarill
Lickilicky
Etc.

Gorebyss is probably my favorite Shiny though.
(BTW to explain better, my favorite color is Yellow, which I think is why I love yellow shiny pokemon. :P)
However I also really like Pink Furret.

I love Shiny Drifloon. I just think its colours are awesome!

My least favourite Shiny is Glaceon. I mean, it's only a shade lighter than the original!

I love shiny Celebi. I loved it since I first saw it in Explorers of Time. It looks so cute in pink.
