Heh haven't posted here in a bit. Wow site got a a new theme. Looks nice! Anyways I'm on the 19th day of Sring for Heatran. Lol I'm thinking this will take as long as Giratina took me (44 days) hopefully not longer though x__x Today was the Canadian Thanksgiving so I hope all the Awesome Canadians here had a good one like I did :) I was only able to SR for 5 hours today so far, think I can do at least another 2 if I stay up late. Good luck to everyone on their hunts!

I might see if I can fill another box of Chikos tonight. I was aiming to do one box per day, but I haven't really been keeping to that very well at all, seeing as I've done nothing all week. Shiny hunting is a full time job.

Now excuse me while I take my shower. I'll then get some more Chikos hatched. I'm keeping only two of the Chikos from box #21. I've released all the "reject" males, and moved the females to my overflowing exports box, for later Pal Parking and GTS foddering. It took less than an hour for my last Chiko trade to go through! And the recepients don't even know that they know Counter/Leech Seed and have (most of them, anyways xP) strong IVs.

I am currently saved in front of Drifloon on Diamond, and am slowly plugging along with Chikorita. I'm starting to think that checking the stats of each and every one is hampering me down a lot, but I really want my shiny, whenever she comes, to have wicked awesome stats! I also know there's a Bold female with flawless HP in my current batch to check. And a preemptive congrats to DS for Heatran and Shieldon! ;) And to Fufu for ... Absol. How original. =|

WOOOT LOL Finally!! HEATRAN IS MINE!!!! lol here's what happened.
I was just posting a new message on the boards here and I looked at the coming Heatran...Red My eyes widened and then I saw the stars circle it, "SHINY!!!" and as promised I jumped around crazily in joy :D I went on to catch it. Hard battle, But my ultimate strategy worked in the end hehehe.

What item was my Alakazam holding? why none other than the magnificent FOCUS SASH

Hehehe that's right, An item that you must sacrifice but you can potential get it every 3 days anyways. I call this strategy "TrickSashing" So I tricked Heatran into holding Focus Sash, then switched in my lv73 Empoleon holding choice specs. I then Attacked with Surf...oh noes, its gonna be knockedz out!! oh oh oh wait Heatran held on using its Focus Sash!! And that's how you bring something down to exactly one HP in 2-3 turns :p The battle from there was all unlucky for me, it knocked out my first sleeper Gengar with one Lava Plume, then I sent in Bibarel and yawned it. Started chucking Dusk Balls.

It escaped each time and eventually KOed Bibarel, Sent in Heatproof Bronzong, Heatran used Iron head while I picked hypnosis, Heatran of course is faster and made bronzong flinch, then a Critical hit Lava plume KOed Bronzong. Sent in Empoleon again and Revived gengar. Chucked Duskballs until it KO'ed empoleon and switched in gengar, used hypnosis, but it missed grrrr. Iron head. Gengar was KOed!! Argh down to my last poke, Alakazam. I used revive again to not be left with one poke, so I revived empoleon. I used thunder wave and paralyzed heatran. It used Scary face. Then I used Alakazam's Trump defense against heatran. Role Play!! It copied Flash fire so Heatran could no longer damage alakazam with fire attacks. I kept chucking dusk balls. Nothing. Most of the time it didn't even shake. I was counting down its attacks and I thought for sure I'd have to use the master ball. It finally KOed Alakazam with Iron Head. I sent in Empoleon. Used a revive again on bibarel so as Not be left with one poke. Used up my last 2 Dusk balls (had 25 to begin with) and Heatran had used 30 of its possible 55 attacks. The next best thing to dusk ball was Timer balls, So I chucked one...shake..shake..shake and it was CAUGHT!!! Wooo shiny #45 I nicknamed it Volcanica (*coughBleachreferencecough*

Wow lol I'm still shaking, I can't believe it finally appeared...25 days of SRing for it, I stopped counting how many hours total I've done for it lol I think maybe 125+ Hours? I do at least 5 hours of Sring per day mostly. Lol I think I'll focus on Shieldon on pearl now. Heatran looks so cool...but its hot o_O Lol Good luck to everyone else Sring for heatran or other legends!

Reminscent of the luck I had back in february on the 3rd gen, I might have hit another luck streak. With Heatran fresh in my mind I decided to SR for Shieldon since I was no longer burdened by Heatran. Did only 2 hours of Sring for it this morning, and at 12:20PM after eating lunch I looked down and saw it. I noticed the star right away. I calmy exited the summary screen and saved. Then I went crazy with joy and jumped around some and was yelling "BAAAAAAAM" and flailing my arms around. Lol.
After calming down I checked its stats:
It got Relaxed Natured, Actually pretty good!
Stats! Haven't checked IVs yet...

Lol nice, It got a +def -speed nature, heh I've also completed 2 legs of the defunct Shiny Circuit now :D Only have to get a fishing shiny and a Radar exclusive shiny since I got a shiny legend (multiples actually :p) and now a Fossil shiny. This is actually my first shiny fossil ever too!! Shiny #46 for me :P 2nd steel shiny in 2 days. Haven't nicknamed it yet since you have to decline giving it a nickname to make checking it faster while Sring :p I think I'll call it "IronFort" I'm still pretty stunned I actually got it. I started sring for it a while back but because I was focused mostly on Heatran I didn't get much Srs done for it. I'd say I got it in less than 2000 SRs since I SR roughly 15 hours or so total for it. Hmm lol what do go after next xD Think I'll progress through Pearl and maybe I'll get to Palkia Sring soon. Only on 3rd badge though. Good luck to everyone else on their hunts!

Pies all around in Celebration of Heatran and Shieldon! Woo lol only since last February on my super streak did I get back to back shinies on 2 days. I'm currently progressing through Pearl, my next target will likely be Palkia unless I get distracted by Unowns x__x Heh DK still haven't got mewtwo though. Sring for it more now, but its very stubborn and refuses to show up shiny xD Might also hunt Manaphy on Diamond, tried it yesterday and takes about 1390 steps to hatch the egg... not bad, but I'm still jealous of the TRU manaphy, that's 5 times easier to SR and comes in a kickass ball, least I have the ability to nickname the egg one, wee :p Good luck to everyone on their hunts!

Whew, looks like a lot happened in my absence, just skim read through pages, don't really have time to read everything.

My computer is still broken, so I've been insanely hunting.

For now I don't have anything to back up my claims, I will upload all my pics when my computer gets fixed (which I'm hoping will be sometime next week).

But since getting torchic I've been chaining like mad, which is soooo much easier on my new DS.

Well in the time that PC went offline I managed to get 4 shinies, and I got my last target Bagon today.
So I've gotten Mareep, Eevee, Budew, a second Gastly and then Bagon.

I've had an awesome week hunting after I got Mareep everything went a lot easier.
