Ok, so I decided to make a banner. It's pretty rushed but should still look good.

    On current topic:

    I'm creating a new Legendary.

    Name: Kyōkajakka
    Type: Fire/Dark
    Ability 1: Illusion
    Ability 2: Flash Fire
    Hidden Ability: Levitate
Evolutionary Line: This Pokemon does not evolve.

    Stats
    HP: 90
    Attack: 135
    Defense: 90
    Special Attack: 90
    Special Defense: 100
    Speed: 95
    Total: 600

    Learnset
    Start - Bite
    Start - Leer
    10 - Flame Charge
    20 - Faint Attack
    27 - Mach Punch
    34 - Flamethrower
    42 - Extrasensory
    50 - Dark Pulse
    60 - Close Combat
    70 - Dragon Pulse
    75 - Foul Play
    80 - Fire Blast
    90 - Focus Punch
    100 - Amaterasu (Kyōkajakka's signature attack)

Pokedex Entry: Kyōkajakka was first discovered in the far-off Ransei region. Although little is known about it, scientists have concluded that despite not being related to Mew, it can still learn most attacks.

Description: I based the name of this Pokemon off of Kyōka Suigetsu and Ryūjin Jakka, two Zanpakuto from the Bleach anime. As for what it looks like, it looks a lot like a Deathclaw from the Fallout series.

    Special Attack: 90
    Special Defense: 110
    Speed: 95
    Total: 680

Please note that Base Stat Totals cannot go over 600. Your Base Stat Total there is 680. You might need to edit a bit of your statistics there until it goes to 600 or lower.

I'm going to create one more Fire-Type as I created 3, which is not 4.

    Another Legendary.

    Blitzragon:

    Type: Fire/Dragon.
Abilities: Flame Body/Flash Fire/Blaze (Hidden Ability)
Evolutionary Line: This Pokemon does not evolve from or to any other Pokemon.
    Name Origin: Blitz and Paragon/Dragon.

    Stats:

    HP: 80.
    Attack: 120.
    Defense: 125.
    Special Attack: 120.
    Special Defense: 100.
    Speed: 55.
    Total: 600.

    Movepool (Level up):

    Start - Ember
    Start - Leer
    Start - Smokescreen
    Start - Dragon Rage
    Level 9 - Twister
    Level 18 - Gust
    Level 26 - Quick Attack
    Level 36 - Dragon Dance
    Level 45 - Thunderbolt
    Level 53 - Flamethrower
    Level 63 - Dragon Pulse
    Level 72 - Outrage
    Level 80 - Amnesia
    Level 83 - Earthquake
    Level 92 - Aura Sphere
Level 100 - Chaotic Blitz (The Signature Attack - A very strong Fire-Type move that always causes a Burn).

Pokedex Entry: Blitzragon was the descendant of wild fires itself. Once it was born, it shaped all of the Volcanoes we know today. Many have come to believe that a whole new Generation of Fire-Types were born because of this.

New Topic: Which Fire-Type Move do you like best for tactics?

If you want to know all the Fire-Type Moves, check this link. It'll give you ALL the information to ALL the Fire-Type Moves. I recommend you only state the Fire-Type move you know just in case you don't actually like the Move you just found out when you play your game.

@Seraphimon-Sama: Okay, Aldamon has evolved into Charmeleon. Don't forget that you still hadn't picked an extra Fire-Type yet!

Honestly, for me, it usually depends on the Pokemon I am using. For example, my strategy involves taking the opponent(s) down quickly, and as such I really like Fire Blast for my tactics.

Also, I'll take Ryūjin Jakka the Tepig as a new Pokemon, thanks.

I must say Will-o-Wisp for defensive pokemon. It can totally wreck a Physical Attacking pokemon like Gyarados, Krookodile etc. Its only downside is the 75% Accuracy.
If for attacking, I would choose Flamethrower because of its Power, Accuracy and PP.

Why do i like Fire-Types?: I like fire types for their sheer power and speed and also because i like fire:D

    For the current topic:

I mostly use Flamethrower because it has decent Power, PP and good Accuracy but if the foe is higher leveled i use Fireblast/Overheat and occasionally BlastBurn.

My first pokemon was a Fire type. And all of my starters are. They are very strong and powerful pokemon.
For the current topic: Ember for weaker pokemon. Fire Blast for stronger pokemon. Plain and simple.

    Okay, updating.

Fire Blast can be quite a strong move. It's power is one to behold, although it's Accuracy and PP are it's downside. I usually make my choices to use, as it can sometimes be risky (But hey who cares?), But still it adds to the fun of the game and can make you somewhat frisky, just to hope for one move to land.

Tactics? Well, I guess if you count spamming the hell out of Flamethrower as a tactic.

    XD

Yeah, I guess that counts, as Flamethrower IS quite a decent move.

    Flamethrower,
Good enough to put anyone in a fate of shame.
    It will beat the lame,
It helps you to the Hall Of Fame.
But instead of Flamethrower there is a flame,
That will continue burning all day tame.

That's quite good, you use back up moves too, just in case. Blast Burn is very powerful, but that means you lost the next turn. Should be strong enough to take out foes, though.

Will-O-Wisp, I don't really find it that good, but still, it, like, BURNS FOES or something! Always burns the foe, which means it takes the opponent's HP bit by bit turn by turn and also lowers their Attack!

I would like to join if i still can.

Welcome to the club, Glitchguy. Have a good time!

Overheat, yeah it's also a bit risky, considering it harshly lowers the User's Special Attack. Which like, weakens it's next time using it, and also weakens other Special Attacks. It may have a good Power but the only way to get out of big Special Attack Decreases is using the White Herb.

Ember is the only Fire-Type move I actually found reliable for weak Pokemon. I mean, 100% Accuracy, possible burns and 40 (Fire-Type STAB excluded) Base Power?! It's the PERFECT move for earlier game. It just runs out of purpose once you get Flame Wheel, Lava Plume, Incinerate (Unlikely), or Flamethrower itself.

Which Fire-Type Move do you like best for tactics?

I would say Eruption. It can be even more powerful than Flamethrower, Fire Blast, and can get as powerful as Blast Burn. BUT. However, Eruption is much better because it always has 100% Accuracy (Blast Burn has 90%) and when the Pokemon using it is at Full HP, you get a Full-Accuracy Full-Power Eruption.

Why do you like Fire-Types?: Finding a fire type that I liked was a defining part of each region I journeyed through. I enjoy their great designs, biology, and usefullness in battle. And each gen I found that one(or two) awesome fire type that has risen the ranks of my favorites list.

Which fire move do you use most for tactics:

As a defensive tactic I use will-o-wisp but not most fire types are physically oriented so I dont use it on fire types specifically tho it is a very good move.

Offensive, Flare Blitz everything. Yup and Fire Blast/Flamethrower. Very good, strong, and reliable fire moves.

I agree, most of them are indeed Sweepers. But there are a select few such as Magcargo who are walls, but you wouldn't be able to pull off the Will O Wisp very easily as most Fire-Type walls are slow, especially Magcargo. Plus Will O Wisp does not work AT ALL on Fire-Types.

Flare Blitz. Well of course it is strong. HOWEVER, don't try to forget it's biggest disadvantage!

    Bulbapedia said:
Flare Blitz will cause the user to receive recoil damage equal to ⅓ of the damage done to the target.

One third recoil is a big recoil. That is why I don't like Flare Blitz that much.

Psh. I don't mind the recoil. The duty of flare blitz in dispatching your opponent's team is more often than not accomplished and that justifies all the recoil before my brave fire types go down valiantly.

EDIT: Uhh...I was looking at the members list and I noticed that Tepig has has his name displayed Dynamite but my Typhlosion's name (Buster) doesnt show up :(

I usually steer clear of Flare Blitz because of the recoil.Fire blast has the same amount of power that Flare Blitz has even though it has 25% less accuracy.I have learned(the hard way) that even 1 HP of difference can change the outcome of the battle.

  • Even so Flare Blitz is a great option(and sometimes a must) for some fire type sweepers, including Entei, Emboar, Infernape and Blaziken. And unlike fireblast, FlareBlitz has reliable accuracy.

EDIT: I dunno i guess I just like flare blitz better
