I prefer to buy used stuff tbh. In my experience it's almost always just as good and a hell of a lot cheaper!

I remember that I would always by the pre-owned games but usually I like the buy the new ones since some pre-owned might have been messed up. I think I had that happen to me a few times.

Most of the cartridges I've gotten used have had evidence of a big cheater owning them last. Most often seems like some kid age 10 of 11 who got themselves a GameShark or Action Replay.

I don't really like to buy used games lol. Sure, it might end up being a good amount cheaper, but at what cost? I've had several instances where the disc was scratched up and stopped playing a month in.

Of course, that doesn't really apply to the main series Pokemon games since they're a cartridge/card rather than a disc. Probably wouldn't have as much trouble buying those used.
