Ultimate Grass Monotype by theoblivinator
I'm playing this on an actual Blue cartridge since I dislike emulation. I just took some snapshots with my phone of important battles to share on here, and put them in the spoiler. They don't look as clean as a computer screenshot would, but I feel this is the most legit way I could do it.
Kanto Update #1
Well I obviously picked Bulbasaur as my starter.
Rival Battle #1
Uneventful to say the least.
Afterwards I delivered Oak's parcel, obtained my Pokedex, and did a little bit of training before the next battle.
Rival Battle #2
Leech Seed was the only reason I won this battle. Pidgey used several Sand Attacks on me instead of Tackle, and Charmander used Growl way to much. My lowered attack and accuracy drug the battle out a long time and honestly without Leech Seed slowly draining health and giving it back to me I would have lost. I had to use a Potion in this fight too.
I traveled through Viridian Forest, leveled up several times against the Bug Catchers. Spent a little cash at Pewter City's Mart for some potions and other healing items. Then I went to the gym.
Leader Brock
Another cake walk.
