Update 3
So most of this update actually happened some time ago but I only finished it up now.

Spoiler:

-TEAM PLASMA YAY. We go the long way through Pinwheel Forest while Burgh, the more experienced trainer, does nothing.
-Pawniard learns Feint Attack and becomes badass.
-We get the skull back (why would a skull revive Reshiram again, oh shit spoilers).
-I forget everything about Castelia City so there's a lot of wandering.
-Eventually I beat everyone in the Battle Company, all the dancers and Team Plasma guys. I also fuck up getting the Water Stone so my Staryu's not gonna be evolving any time soon.
-Time to hit the gym (pun intended), everyone's around Level 20 now.
-VS Burgh: Whirlipede was the only one of his pokémon who gave me trouble, and that was because he used both his hyper potions on it and then it got two crits in a row and killed Pawniard. The other two went down in no time.
-Went and fought Bianca because why not, except that Dewott took out most of my team and I was only miraculously saved by Cranidos. I also fought Cheren on Route 4, who wasn't nearly as hard.
-Route 4 time! I get the Dig TM so now my Ground-type knows an actual Ground-type move, oh wait Phanpy can't learn Dig. I teach it to Cranidos instead.
-The Desert Resort is boring, moving on.
-We have a date with N at the amusement park and then we fight him, where I have the BS luck on my side this time. I also teach Phanpy Rock Tomb in preparation for the Emolga slaughter coming up.
-While grinding for Elesa, Makuhita hits Level 24 and evolves into Hariyama, and Phanpy hits Level 25 end evolves into Donphan.
-VS Elesa: Holy shit Donphan is great. He solo'd the whole thing with just Rollout, he is now forever my hero.

Yeah, I hate Elesa so much. I didn't think it would be over in four turns though, I thought I was gonna have to grind more than I did.

I'm going so slow in this, christ.

-More Cheren! Of course I'm better because I don't use the stupid goddamn monkeys on my team. Also we beat up two preschoolers because the champion told us to do so.
-We lower the drawbridge to Driftveil. Forever.
-The Cold Storage is kinda uninteresting. All my pokémon are Level 26/27 at this point.
-VS Clay: 2 out of 3 of his pokémon are weak to Fighting so it's easy pickings. He even used Swagger on me so that I may decimate him easier, what a nice guy.
-Cranidos confirmed for certified Dewott exterminator. Yeah, I fight Bianca again but this time it didn't go nearly as badly.
-Drifloon can't learn Fly... Yet there was an episode in the anime where someone flew hanging onto one... Eh? I do teach the Bulldoze TM to Donphan so it has a STAB move finally.
-Is that BubbleBeam on Staryu? FINALLY! Of course I'll be replacing it with Surf but now it's not as much of a deadweight.
-Drifloon hits 28 in Chargestone Cave and evolves into Drifblim! Can it learn Fly NOW? (the answer is yes it can)
-Oh shit I forgot to heal for N help
-I make it to Mistralton City finally. I would've gone until I beat Skyla but I kept running into stuff in Chargestone Cave every time I did ANYTHING so I was exhausted at that point.

It really did feel like forever in Chargestone Cave, the game was like "oh, you turned your head slightly? RANDOM BATTLE!"

-VS Skyla: Oh, you mean Elesa 2.0? Yeah, this one went pretty much the exact same way. Literally. I also teach Acrobatics to Drifblim since she gives it to you.
-The next battle with Cheren goes pretty smooth, and Alder gives us the Surf HM so I can FINALLY get a Water Stone and evolve Staryu.

Hey man, here is my recommendation. Ambipom, charzard, magneton, leafeon, deawgon. See if this works for you.

I would do this, one problem is floatzel can't be found in hgss and I do not own any Gen 6. So can you give me another option? Or may I choose one?

You can find Floatzel on Route 15 in X/Y and then breed it to get Buizel, but if you can't get it go with Walrein instead.
