Tallie listened carefully, Akura seemed to be very even minded about where she was from. She didn't seem proud, nor disappointed to have lived there her life in Pallet Town. Perhaps it wasn't the most exciting place to grow up, but it was the place where she began her Pokemon journey, so it had a very special place in her own heart even though she had only spent a day there. Her eyes glanced back for one final look, trying to take a picture in her brain so that when she came back someday, hopefully as a successful Pokemon professor, she would remember it through the eyes of a 10 year old. Alla broke her train of thought, wiggling with all her little might to be released from Tallie's arms, which she eventually gave into and watched the little egg-shelled creature explore.

"Oh," She said with a modest smile, "I'm just from Vermilion City. Nothing too special." She looked over, catching Theo in her view, but he kept moving. He too, was headed on the same road to Viridian. "My father was a Pokemon Trainer too, but he's been off for most of my life." Tallie stopped there, figuring she didn't want to know that much into her life. She could help but cough out a small laugh, that was very like her, to tell her whole story to random strangers. Her mother always scolded her for doing it, but it never changed much of anything.

"Toge!" Tallie's ears picked up the peep from her little friend, but it sounded much more urgent than any other time. Her brown eyes quickly scanned the area to find her Alla running from a Pidgey who looked quite intent on pecking the Togepi.

"Alla!" the trainer yelled, wanting to run over and scoop up the baby Pokemon, "You can do it, turn around an fight! Use charm." The Togepi seemed to be a bit confused, but it turned, and widened it's eyes, trying to look as cute as possible. That seemed to make the Pidgey fumble a little bit, but it kept on it's course, clipping Alla with the side of it's wing and turning around to attempt another blow. The Togepi let out a yelp, and looked toward Tallie for more guidance.

"It's alright Alla," she said, trying to keep her companion's confidence up, "Use Metronome!"

The little egg began to wave it's hands back and forth, seeming to catch the Pidgey by surprise. It's little hands glowed a pink-purple color, along with the outlining of the Pidgey, and although Tallie wasn't sure what happened, the bird fell out of the air and onto the ground. "Great job Alla! Oh, wait, I need a Pokeball" she reached into her large bag and pulled out the one she had found earlier. She threw it in almost an unsure fashion, and watched it swallow up the Pidgey. The 10 year old then waited in anticipation to see if she had caught the bird Pokemon.

((OOC: I figured I would just make Metronome do some random psychic move that Tallie didn't know, hope you don't mind. Also, I think you said you'll make the ultimate decision on if we catch or not, so I'll wait on accept/denied before I post again.))

Route 01: The Road to Viridian City

Leo walked briskly towards the end of the town. Peech (his Pichu), on the other hand, is trying her best to keep up with her new master. The new trainer was eager to train his measly baby Pokémon into a really powerful Raichu. When they were past the town's entrance, he immediately rummaged through his pockets. Peech just caught up to him when he pulled out the red device that he had received from the Professor, whose name didn't matter that much to Leo. He turned around with a sly grin in his face. Peech got a little anxious and started to back away slowly. He pointed the device at the scared Pichu and it stated:

    {PICHU: The Tiny Mouse Pokémon
    The Road to Pokemon Master!
    The pre-evolved form of Pikachu. Despite its small size, it can zap even adult humans. However, if it does so, it also surprises itself.}

"Zap human adults, huh?" Leo said with a devious smile," maybe one of these days..."

Just then, a bush rustled. Leo turned around quick while Peech ran in front of his trainer. They stared at the bush for more than three minutes, then the bush rustled again. Carefully, he pointed the PokéDex at the bush as silently as he can. The encyclopedia stated:

    {PIDGEY: The Tiny Bird Pokémon
    The Road to Pokemon Master!
    It usually hides in tall grass. Because it dislikes fighting, it protects itself by kicking up sand. }

Leo frowned. A Pokémon that disliked fighting. He wasn't sure if he liked that. The bush kept shaking, but Leo decided it wasn't worth it so he walked past the bush and walked away. Just as he did, sand hit the back of his jacket. He turned around furiously. He looked at Peech with his vengeful black eyes and immediately the Tiny Mouse quivered in fear.

"Shock 'em." Leo commanded his Pokémon.

But the little Pichu stayed where it was, still shaking. More sand hit Leo. It almost seemed like the Pidgey was picking a fight. Quite unusual for such a Pokémon, but it was just the kind of attitude Leo wanted on his team. Unfortunately, what it's doing now is just getting on Leo's bad side. And believe me when I say you DO NOT wanna get on Leo's bad side.

"YOU DO NOT WANNA GET ON MY BAD SIDE, PIPSQUEAK!" ((OOC: See, I told you.)) He screamed at his Pokémon, and with a burst of tears, Peech let out a powerful Thundershock that fried the bush to ashes. On the down side, though, Peech took significant damage from her own electric attack.

His master applauded her, slowly walking towards the fried-out Pidgey. It twitched and tried to flap its wings. He unclipped a Pokeball from his belt and threw it at the Tiny Bird. The ball opened and let out the same red light that released Peech from her Pokeball, but instead of enveloping the Pidgey, it formed what seemed to be a fox-esque Pokémon. Soon, the red light disappeared and revealed a mammalian creature with brown fur, a bushy tail that has a cream-colored tip, and a furry collar that is also cream-colored. It has four short, feline-esque legs with three small toes on each foot. It has brown eyes, big ears, and pink paw pads. Astonished, he accidentally pointed the PokéDex he was holding at the Pokémon. It stated:

    {EEVEE: The Evolution Pokémon
    The Road to Pokemon Master!
    An extremely rare Pokémon that may evolve in a number of different ways depending on stimuli.}

The Eevee noticed the injured Pichu and the paralyzed Pidgey. It looked at Leo, whose mouth was hanging open. His mind still could not process the things that had just happened. Eevee, on the other hand, thought that this whole carnage is Leo's fault (which, in fact, it was) and with a swift Tail Whip to Leo's face, it ran off towards Viridian City. The whip, at least, woke Leo up from his trance and noticed his Pokémon running away (Though he still wasn't sure if that was his Pokémon) He called Peech back into her Pokeball and picked up the ball that he had tried to capture Pidgey with. Before he started running, he kicked away the fried Pidgey.

"That's what you get for kicking sand at me" he said before finally chasing after Eevee.

    -Route 1 END-

Theodore ran passed Piper, entering Viridian before her. That didn't matter, she was here and the afternoon was coming to pass into evening. There were still others behind her, and Cleffa began to rub her eyes and yawn.

"Aw, Sweety, it's only about four o' clock." she cooed to the sleepy fairy. Of course, it didn't listen to the new stranger, and curled up to sleep inside of the basket. This triggered Piper to return her to her ball.

It didn't seem quite right to walk around anywhere without at least one Pokemon out, so she decided to call out her Eevee. The caramel colored cutesy fox shook her fur from being out in the open.

"Vei, vee," it chimed with a smile, but did not leap into the basket. Sweets seemed distracted by something behind them, the feeling made Piper's skin crawl. When she turned around, there was a small figure in the background. At the pace it was running, it formed fairly quickly - another Eevee.

Excited, Sweets ran towards it, wagging it's tail and perking her ears.

"Wait!" the confused girl screamed, "That's counter productive! You're going the wrong way." her voice faded towards the end, she gave up and ran to catch up to her Pokemon. By this time, the two Eevees had met up. "Who do you belong to?" Piper asked in a honey toned voice. "You shouldn't run away from your trainer... Let's help you find him or her, here," she let her basket down and helped both the stranger Eevee in, and Sweets followed.

They began to head back towards Pallet Town.

::Tillie- Caught Pidgey, Male, Lvl 3! Alla grew to level 6!
::Leone- Peech grew to level 6! Peech learned Tail Whip!
:: Piper- Sweets grew to level 6!

"I'm just from Vermilion, nothing special," Tallie said and then told Akura her father had been a pokémon trainer. Akura raised her eyebrows at that, interested, but Tallie seemed embarrassed by telling her that. As Akura was about to tell her not to be, and say that her brother was a trainer as well, Tallie's Togepi encountered a wild Pidgey.

Akura had seen those birds many times before. They were living in abundance around Pallet Town. Despite Togepi being small and seemingly pretty scared, Tallie managed to keep its conviction up and it fired away an unexpectedly strong attack. Tallie caught Pidgey with a pokéball. Akura had been watching, wondering if she should intervene somehow... Eve had simply watched, looking a bit amused.

"Wow," Akura said before stopping herself, when the pokéball stopped twirling and the capture was complete. "You caught a pokémon. That's.... that's a pretty good thing."

But apparently, the Pidgey hadn't been alone. The rustlings and "horde" of pokémon Theo and Piper had encountered before hadn't quite calmed down yet. Suddenly two Rattatas emerged from the bushes. Akura was a little surprised, but calmed down quickly. She had seen Rattatas before too. They were frequent pests in their garden at home, annoying Tangela to no ends by chewing on its vines.

"Maybe they didn't like you catching Pidgey," she said and threw a glance at Tallie. But then, why would a pair of Rattatas and a Pidgey be friends? Nevertheless, the two rats suddenly rushed forward. Akura didn't even yelp, they didn't scare her. She aimed a kick at one of them but missed. Then her body instinctively waited for the other Rattata to either Tackle her or bite her foot. But it didn't.

Eve had jumped in between, tackling the Rattata. It stumbled to the side but got up quickly, seemingly even more angrier. The almost kicked Rattata seemed angrier as well.

"Good, Eve!" Akura said. "Tackle it again!"

But Eve closed her eyes and looked away. What? She didn't want to obey?

One Rattata charged forward again. "Aaa... Azu!" Akura said, sounding like a sneeze and pulling out Azurill's pokéball from her pocket.

Azu emerged, looking happy, but his expression quickly turned to bewildered when he saw the Rattata, who luckily halted for a bit when it noticed the new arrival.

"Azu, they are attacking us for no reason!" Akura said and hoped she was right. "Use Bubble on them!"

Azu jumped off its tail, where it usually sat, and with a little squeak blew out a big bubbly spray towards the rats. They didn't seem afraid of the bubbles. Maybe they had never seen them before... because they stormed forward but when they came in contact with the bubbles, the bubbles popped and more or less exploded into the Rattatas' faces. They squealed in a way Akura hadn't heard rats do before.

Giving them no time to retaliate, Akura shouted the next order. "Azu, use Bubble again!"

One Rattata got hit by the new wave before it could even get up from the ground, but the other dodged the spray and headed with a leap towards Azu. Remembering what she had read in the pokédex about her pokémon, Akura tested something out: "Azu, Charm!"

Azurill made itself look smaller, put on a sad face with eyes suddenly growing unnaturally large. It looked so helpless and seemed to radiate pity. The Rattata completely lost itself in its leap and landed in front of the blue pokémon instead of on top of it. It seemed a bit confused, and Azu took things in his own hands. With a not-so-sad-anymore squeak, he swung his tail at the Rattata, knocking it over. It lost the will to fight.

But the other Rattata was back up again, and angrier than ever. How dared this human disturb their route? Once again, it charged forward. Azu was still trying to regain controll over his big blobbing tail, and wasn't quick enough to manage to shield itself from the attack...

"Azu! Dodge! Bubble! Quick!" Akura called, starting to move forward, aiming another kick at the rat.

But Eve was much quicker. With even more force than before, she came in from nowhere and tackled the Rattata. It rolled for several meters before stopping. The other Rattata came forth and nudged the former until it woke up, and both of them went back into the bushes, looking very much defeated.

Akura wanted to cheer, but it was still too far away from her personality to suddenly do that. Instead, Azu cheered for her and happily bounced up to Eve the Eevee. Akura kneeled beside them.

"You did it again, Eve," she said. "Thank you."

Eve gave them a blank glance, but then gave the tiniest of smiles and silently patted Azu's tail with its own tail. She did seem to care after all, even though she clearly thought Akura's orders weren't worth following. Akura wished she would change that soon.

She sent both pokémon back into their pokéballs and turned back to Tallie with an excuseful face for the events. However, before she could speak, Eve's pokéball burst open again. It appeared on the ground beside its trainer.

"So you really don't want to be inside there?" Eve just looked up at her. "Fine. It's ok. You can stay outside."

She turned to Tallie. "Those were... sure some events. But maybe we should get to Viridian now. It's getting late."

The blond girl watched the Pokeball stop moving, almost in awe. She had caught her first Pokemon, the first one that she worked to get. Her mind savored the victory, the sweet taste of progress. Her eyes turned to her little friend, who still looked quite shocked in it's self, looking at it's hands desperately to find the source of attack. "Alla!" Tallie exclaimed, falling to her knees to embrace her Togepi. It sprinted toward her, and danced around in front of her. "You did so good." She picked up the egg Pokemon, returned to her feet, and retrieved their prize. Tallie let Alla hold it for a moment before returning it to her bag along with the Pokeball containing Tobi. "Now we have two new friends," she said with a smile.

Tallie didn't have more than a couple moment to celebrate her victory before it was broken by the sound of squealing and cawing. She glanced over her shoulder to see pairs of Pidgey and Rattata running at Akura and herself in a very angry way. She was amazed by the amount to skill the girl showed. Her battle was flawless, with the exception for her Eevee giving her attitude. Tallie kept herself back, seeing that this was Akura's battle, and something she could accomplish on her own.

"Wow," she said with a smile, as it was all done and finished, "That was impressive."

((OOC : Time Jump to Virdian City Pokemon Center))

The rest of the way to Virdian City was fairly uneventful compared to the first part of their journey, to Tallie's relief. The Pidgey and Rattata seemed to finally be convinced the the pair was not to be trifled with. Virdian City was only a few steps away, and the day was rolling to a close.

"Well," she said, letting out an excited sigh, "Looks like we're here, I'm headed for the Pokemon Center. Seems like the best place to go for the night." Tallie took a couple running steps toward the Center, almost tripped, then decided it probably was a good idea to walk instead. She entered, looking around at the almost empty hospital-like building. The 10 year old handed her Pidgey over to the Nurse, since it was the only one that had any injuries, and found a seat in a waiting area like place. She noticed a familiar face, Theo, was it? Her mind told her not to be rude, so she said a quick, dainty, "Hello," and pulled out her sketchbook to open it and start scribbling.

Theo glanced at the duo that had recently checked into the Pokemon Center. He recognized Akura from earlier that day, although she appeared with a second girl whom Theo couldn't recognize. She had the look of a stereotypical schoolgirl. She took a Pokeball to the nurse and then proceeded to sit down, no doubt waiting for her Pokemon to be healed. She said a quick hello, she seemed to have a hint of shyness or nervousness in her voice but it was subtle.

    "Greetings." was all Theo returned.

He then reverted his gaze to the television he was watching previously. It was on the local Pallet and Viridian news. Apparently the show was called "Indigo News". Admittedly, there was nothing particularly interesting going on. The only thing of relative interest was the announcement of a short-spread Pokemon uproar. The cause was still unknown but Trainers were warned that the Pokemon were a bit more hostile than normal. Afflicted areas included the Viridian Forest and Pallet Town areas.

Theo decided he was done for the day and retreated to his room in the back of the Pokemon Center. Twas the end of the first of many days on Theo's quest to Pokemon mastery. Since he had been pretty active most of the day, it didn't take long for him to fall asleep.

(OOC: Short post and nothing happened, this is more or less just a way for me to end the day for Theo.)

    Name: Liem Tath Sauvan

    Gender: Male

History: Liem for the most part came from a broken home. He never really knew his parents as he'd been bounced from
household to household. When asked about where he comes from, he finds himself at a fork in the road.
The honest truth is everywhere, at least in Kanto. It's not that nobody wished to adopt him, but that being
in a foster home never meant a permenent family. Liem has been facinated with Pokemon ever since he could remember.
They were more than pets, they were a family, they could provide stability. To be a pokemon master, the fame, the
love and the proof that he'd done something worthwhile in his life became his dream. He simply could not wait for
the day he turned ten, he would recieve his first Pokemon and make a new home for himself. A nomad, wherever he
may roam did become his home.

Personality: Despite his unstable life, Liem leads a life of truth, openess, an outgoing personality
and looks for the positive in negative situations. He enjoys competition and learning about others.
People all have their own life's story, their own complications and issues, they all have insecurities
and egos. He wants to learn about it all. Friendship provides for him a family, a reason to be. Some say that
he should be a counciler, as he has a natural gnack for finding a reason to better someone's life. Maybe someday,
    after he fixes himself first.

Appearance: This guy is 5'7", taller than the average male ten year old. His body is lean and slender, built like
a runner. His hair is short and messy, kind of cropped to expose one eye, it's pushed over to hide the left side
of his face. Said eyes are hazel, a greenish brown, with tiny blue rings about the pupil. His eyebrows are neither
too thin, nor too thick. Liem's jawline is chizeled, and his nose is longer than average though it lines up nice
with his facial structure. He is not bulky with muscle, but not flabby either, he's actually rather average.
For clothing, he likes to follow the trends. Laying over his broad shoulders is a stone grey hoody, the inside
of the hood is lined with thick, fake fur. There is a brand name on the front when zipped up, though it's rarely
zipped. Just a plain white tee hides his torso, it too has a matching name brand going down the left side, and
covering his legs are regular long jeans. His shoes are decently basic. To hold his Pokeballs, he uses his large
pockets. This sometimes can be very hazardous, as he could draw out the wrong Pokemon, but he makes good of
    what is given to him.

Pokemon: (Ooc: I'm taking Elekid since Sky hasn't posted his SU.)
    Nickname: None
    Gender: Male
    Move Set: Leer, Quick Attack

    PALLET TOWN

Late?! He was late! The sun was falling over the horizon, the Pokemon were probably gone... But he had to try, didn't he? He was jogging down to Pallet from Viridian, leaping over ledges and avoiding Pokemon encounters at all cost. Luckily, his long legs were an advantage to him, he did not tire quickly as his build was that of stamina. The giant laboratory was hovering in the distance now, in view.

"Please let there still be a Pokemon available! There has to be one still available!" he chimed out, panting evenly with his stride. The optimism in his heart told him that there was still at least a chance, Oak couldn't turn down a boy so full of hope. Flying passed a sign stating "Pallet Town", Liem bound up the stairs and entered into the spacious, overly lit building.

"Hello? Professor, I need a Pokemon, please!" at this point in time, Liem was attempting to catch his breath. Unfortunately, his desperation hindered this ability. The Professor mentioned not expecting anybody else, and scolded the ten year old on his lateness... But, feeling guilty, allowed him to choose his starter.

"I've thought a lot about it, and I'd like to have Azurill, please." stated the exhausted lad with the messy brown hair. The desired Pokemon was out of stock, he'd have to make a different choice.

    "Alright, how about Magby?"

    "Taken."

    "Togepi?"

    "Nuh, uh."

    "... Pichu?"

"No way... But we do have another electric type." Oak stated, seeming a bit weary of the suggestion.

"I'll take it, I am late already, I need to get to Viridian." and so he snatched Elekid up.

"Good luck..." was all the advice Oak had to offer, he handed over a Pokedex, which entered into Liem's hoody pocket, five Pokeballs, into his jean pocket, and a potion.

"Thank you, professor, thank you so much. I will make it up to you, I promise!" and then he was gone. A blur and a gust of wind. He had to make it to Viridian City before nightfall, and then he'd begin his journey. It's not that the kid was upset about being the last one due to the lack of training, but he was eager to meet new people. He hoped in his heart of hearts that they were still in Viridian.

Finally, after following the familiar path, again without a Pokemon encounter, Liem made it to the first city. He was spent. Beginning to wish that Pokemon Centers would offer people hospitalization as well. The thought made him chuckle, and so he made his way inside of the warm building. The walk allowed him to catch his breath, and noticing other people around eased his mind. He decided to introduce himself to everybody there. He wasn't afraid.

"Hey everybody," came a booming, cheery voice from his vocals, "my name is Liem Tath, and I'm so happy I made it here." Then the boy literally passed out onto the tiled floor.

Tallie looked up from her sketchbook when she heard the booming voice fill up the before quite silent Pokemon Center. She hadn't been there long, but Theo had fallen asleep, and not much other movement was happening. She observed for a moment, he was tall, but judging by his face, couldn't be much older than she was. He had to be a starting trainer, but this 'Liem' wasn't at Professor Oak's Lab earlier. He kind of looked like he had run from here to Pallet town and back. As enthusiastic as he sounded, he was huffing, and eventually, he even just fell over, out of the blue. No warning, just a flopped down on the ground. Tallie panicked for a moment, jumping herself by the suddenness of it all and dropping both her pencil and her book. She glanced to the desk, and Nurse Joy nor her pink friend, Chansey were there. The 10 year old hopped to her feet and scooted over cautiously.

"Hello?" She said, kneeling down to the ground beside him, "Are you okay?" Tallie bit her lip, unsure of what to do. She never could have dreamed she would have to deal with some dead kid on the floor of the Pokemon Center on her first day. "Oh, please don't be dead," she begged, laying her hand on his shoulder and shaking him easily. "Come on, this is a bad joke."

She waited for a few long moments, but no one seemed to show up, and he didn't seem to be moving any more than when he hit the tiled floor. "Alright," she said, trying to work out her game plan, "Lets just move you out of the middle of the floor." Tallie tried to lace her arm around his like they did in those shows she watched and brace him against her body to carry him to the chairs, but it wasn't as easy as it looked. He was quite too tall, and she too small, short and weak. She moaned unhappily, "I need helpppp."

Akura had handed in her pokémon for healing and was now wandering Viridian about. It looked much like last time she's been here, only darker and less crowded, as it was night. And last time she hadn't been allowed to walk around by herself. She had bought some food at a nice place and looked in at least a dozen packed store-windows.

When she thought her pokémon might be healthy again, she walked back to the pokémon center. When she came in, the first thing she saw was Tallie heaving a much bigger boy up from the ground and failing somewhat. "I need helpppp." she moaned, pretty strained.

Akura's lips twitched into an involuntary smile. Cute. "I'm here," she said and rushed to Liem's other side. "Shouldn't we take him to one of the free rooms? He looks like he could use some sleep."

Akura knew she could need it too. She felt a yawn make its way up to her mouth and let it out silently.

  • Near Viridian City: Serene Dawn

Leo's chase was not going that great. The sun was setting and the dirt path appeared to be disappearing in the darkness. He was still thinking how that Eevee's Pokeball appeared in his pocket. He didn't remember stealing anyone's pokeball. And he was sure he didn't take the pokeball from the professor.

"The professor..." Leo muttered to himself while slowly coming to a halt.

That's when it hit him. The Eevee was probably a freebie in one of the five Pokeballs that was given to him back in Pallet Town. That's why that certain Pokeball was a bit heavier than the others. He looked at the setting sun and decided it was too late to run after his Eevee,so he decided to set camp beside the dirt path where he was standing. After picking up the scattered tree branches lying on the grassy floor, he gathered them together in a bundle and laid them in a ring of rocks. He let Peech out from her Pokeball. The Tiny Mouse looked seemingly healthier than she was hours ago when she let out a powerful Thundershock that hurt herself.

"Light this campfire with Thundershock," ordered Leo.

And just like that, Peech struck the pile of woods with Thundershock that caused it to blaze. It almost seemed like Peech has forgotten everything that had happened moments earlier. Leo decided to use a Potion on Peech, just in case they got attacked by wild Pokémon. For the record, he "borrowed" that Potion from the professor's lab just as he was about to leave. Soon, the somehow injured Pichu glowed in health as the Potion cured most of her wounds until there was nothing.

"The moment we get attacked by a wild Rattata or something, I want you to hit it with the strongest Thundershock you can make, you got that?" Leo said, half threateningly. Peech nodded and maintained her jolly smile. She was getting used to the fact that her master is mean to her, so she just had to live with that.

The sun just went down and the stars has taken over the sky. This was one of the few times that Leo felt calm and peaceful. To prove my point, he just let Peech lie beside him. Imagine if Leo wasn't this serene and Peech just laid down beside him. It will be catastrophic. Trust me. It will. But now, everything was good. He almost forgot about his missing Eevee, who reminded him of a certain Flareon, but that's another story. Soon, Leo's eyes went heavy and so did Peech's. One minute he was staring at the sky, another minute he was dreaming...

    DREAM

Leo dreamed about the orphanage back in Viridian City. While he was staying there, he had only one companion, a Flareon named Blitz. None of the other kids wanted to play with the boy with the weird scar on his leg. They told stories about him and said he was cursed. Only the house pet was his friend. Someone he could talk to when he was lonely. Someone he could depend on when other people teased him. That was Blitz. Though, he couldn't remember most of his time at the orphanage, he could remember that certain Flame Pokémon very well. He has never forgotten a time when he was with Blitz, like that time when they set a tree on fire. Leo was trying to pick an apple from the tree but he couldn't reach any one of the apples. Blitz tried to help him but ended up setting the tree ablaze. They laughed about it all night long, even when he was grounded for doing so. It was a happy dream. The kind of dream that Leo would never want to wake up from.

*thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud*

    -DREAM END-

Leo was woken up by the sound of footsteps nearing him. Apparently, Peech heard the same thing, too. He stood up and tried to peer into the darkness. Soon, he could make out the figure of a man holding a basket. In the basket was two creatures with fox-like ears, and moments later, he figures out that the 'man' was actually a 'girl'...

    -NEAR VIRIDIAN CITY END-

When Liem finally came to, his vision was extremely hazy. He had a pounding headache and it felt as though his muscles were constricted... And he'd hit the ground so hard that he was now hearing females talking? No, his muscles weren't restrained, and he wasn't suddenly developing schizophrenia. There were two struggling girls attempting to hold up his dead weight.

"Wh... a?" his first attempt at words was hindered by his throbbing head. "Ow," one of his hands went immediately to his skull without thought. Inhaling and exhaling a few more times, and blinking away the dizziness, the lanky boy decided to try again.

"What happened?" successful! He then attempted to turn his head to see who was behind him, but in the position they had him in it was just about impossible. Then, he found the strength to move his weak and sore legs.

Kind of using the two to help himself stand, Liem managed to rise up. He was easily taller than the both of them. His brand named jacket was slipping off of one chiseled shoulder, and he left his fingers tangled in his matted hair. His gleaming hazel eyes fell onto first Akura, then to Tillie. This was followed by a brilliant, teeth filled smile.

"Sorry about that, and thank you for your help," he tossed his thick hair a bit, and then offered the same hand. "Liem Tath, forever a nomad. Yourselves?"

"Sorry about that, and thank you for your help," the tall boy tossed his thick hair a bit, and then offered the same hand. "Liem Tath, forever a nomad. Yourselves?"

What an unusual way of presenting one self, Akura thought and came to think of the way in which Theo had presented himself. "I am Akura Zino... of Pallet Town," she said and took Liem's hand with her usual blank face. She didn't look delighted to meet him, nor discomforted.

"Are you alright?" she added, not really wanting to show she cared or something, but not wanting to seem cold either. "I came in here and found Tallie dragging you up from the floor. I'm going to take a room to sleep in for the night, maybe you should get one too?"

  • Piper was walking in pitch darkness now. The whole idea of delivering this Eevee was catching up to her as crazy. There were cries of Pokemon in the distance to make her skin crawl with each step backwards. The Eevees were now asleep together in her basket, soundly. She envied how peaceful they were in her time of fear.

Finally, the girl saw a person in the darkness, the figure was staring back at her. Her body urged her to turn back, to run to Viridian and return the male Eevee in the morning. It'd be daylight, she'd be prepared. But no, she continued on. There was another shadow in the darkness, a much smaller one. The Pichu.

"Hello?" she trembled, her voice was weak and shaking. Too quiet, she could barely even hear herself. Redo, "Hello...!" again, it was like a whimper more than a holler. It took all of her might, she swallowed and inhaled into her lungs deeply.

"HELLO!" this time, it echoed throughout the Route. Eevee and Sweets woke up, startled. Piper even stunned herself. She continued to force her body towards him and his Pokemon. When she was close enough into earshot, she began to explain herself.

"My name is Piper... Does this Eevee belong to you?" she felt completely stupid. She didn't know him, nor him her. What if it wasn't his Eevee? What if he wasn't even a new trainer?

Just then, a figure raced past her. It was fast, panting, heaving. She let out a terrified shrill and ran forward uncontrollably to Leone. Stumbling to the ground right before his feet, the two Eevees, her basket and everything in it spilled out onto the earth. It was a pathetic sight.

"Tallie West from Vermilion City," she said, then looked over her shoulder to Alla who had awaken from the noise was tumbling over sleepily to her, "And that's my Togepi, Alla." She waited for Akura to get in what she had to say, still holding up one of Liem's sides to make sure he didn't fall again, even if he seemed alright now. "You came into the Pokemon Center, said a few words and then fainted," she carefully explained what happened, "It looks like you've run all the way from Johto."

The pressure of him finally started to make her legs limp, and she tried to keep her composure. Tallie glanced at Akura, quite in notice that she wasn't struggling quite as much, of course, comparing the two was like comparing mud and water. "A room is a good idea," she tried to cover the struggle in her voice, but wasn't doing very well. "Can you stand on your own?" She asked, "I'm afraid I'm not built for lifting more than a couple books," the 10 year old laughed easily.

Liem drank in the stories from the two girls. That would make sense why now his head hurt. It was like a brain splitting migraine, it was a wonder he could look so calm and easy. Tillie and Akura, he struggled to retain and memorize the names. It'd be key to making friends after all.

Then there was another name thrown into the mix, Alla. An invisible light bulb seemed to click on above Liem. He recalled the fact that he had received a Pokemon as well. Taking his hand away from Akura, it found its way into his pants pocket. And a Pokeball was pulled out.

"I'd like you both to meet Elekid," clicking the small button on the ball, it opened up. What came out looked nothing like an Elekid. It was a brown and cream colored Eevee. His build was normal, as far as could be seen... But the main concern was that he was sound asleep.

"Um?" the boy was flabbergasted. "I assure you, Elekid did not look like this before when I picked him." he nudged the sleeping form with a shoe and it grunted, adjusting its posture and seemed very unaffected. Curious, Liem searched his hoody pocket for the Pokedex.

At first, the entry was speaking about Liem, "Liem Tath Sauvan, male. He is the age of ten, his first Pokemon, Elekid. he quickly pressed some buttons at random, attempting to switch the info onto the Eevee. It was a success, the Pokedex flashed onto a Pokemon matching the snoozing creature.

"Eevee, the evolution fox. Eevee can evolve into seven known Pokemon. Tackle and Tail Whip are the attacks your Eevee knows. then the Pokedex paused, it seemed to be trying to register why the Eevee was asleep... It shut off and pulled up a screen saying "Error".

"Huh? That is weird..." Liem flicked the screen and Dexter reset. He flipped it closed and discarded it. "I promise you guys that I have an Elekid." he mentioned apologetically. Without realizing that Tillie was still holding him up, he shifted all of his weight upon himself, "Some shut eye sounds delightful." A subject change was just what he needed, "How about we go get some rooms."

Joy came back and Liem took it upon himself to request three bedrooms, unfortunately, only two were available. One, luckily, had two beds.

(OOC: xD Your characters are funny! I wish I had made Akura a little less serious, but perhaps she can learn to be more light-headed on the road :) especially if Tallie and Liem are around sometimes.)

Akura watched with curiosity as Liem had trouble with his pokédex and finding his supposed Elekid. It didn't seem to go as planned but Liem simply gave up and kind of shrugged the whole problem off. Akura raised an eyebrow. What a happy-go-lucky figure. In a way, he seemed pretty alike Tallie.

He took upon himself to order bedrooms for all of them, without being asked. Akura had no trouble with that, as she only found it convenient. There were only two bedrooms, however.

Not a problem, Akura found herself immediately thinking. But then she realized... one of them would have to share room with one of the others. Well, not a problem, she thought again, but then she realized... who would she want to share rooms with? She had started to feel more and more uncomfortable around girls, and undressing and doing the morning stuff in the same room wouldn't really be pleasurable, since the other girl would surely notice how little Akura really cared about her looks in the morning. She was like a lazy teenager boy or something, she got up, got dressed and hardly looked in the mirror, while most girls spent time picking clothes, maybe put on some make up or at least fix their hair... and her body or clothes weren't the least bit girly either.

Because of that, she would be more comfortable sharing rooms with Liem. But on the other hand... he would too notice how un-girly she was, and maybe he'd think she was weird, or boring or simply ugly. She didn't want that before she'd gotten to know him... before she had gotten a chance to show her good sides and not just her bad ones.

Conclusion: she really wanted the single bed room. But then... she'd maybe feel kind of alone, thinking of the other two talking for the whole night in their happy, cheerful way across the hall. Aaargh... what would she do? Let them decide? Suggest that she'd take her sleeping bag and camp on the floor in the bigger room, so that all of them were together?

She must have been looking even paler than usual, and her mouth was a thin line while her eyes actually expressed slight panic for a change, instead of the usual blank look.

Alla reached up to Tallie, begging like a little child to be held in her arms. Of course, her trainer couldn't help but oblige, the large, cute eyes could persuade her to do just about anything. Her little friend seemed to curl into it's shell and return to it's prior slumber.

She was thankful when Liem asked the nurse if there were any rooms available, as she was just planning on dozing off in the waiting area. It would definitely be a blessing to have a nice warm bed to curl up in. Her happiness fell a little when she heard the bed situation though. Three beds, two rooms, it seemed pretty oblivious that she and Akura would take one, and Liem in the other. Tallie started to voice her idea before her eyes caught Akura deep in thought. Apparently, it wasn't as easy as she thought? She looked down at her shoes, trying to avoid answering, since she figured her solution wasn't the best one now. For the whole day that the two of them had been traveling together, she hadn't seen anywhere near the amount of panic and unease that was in Akura's eyes now. Maybe it would be better if Tallie was on her own with the other two in the big room, or did Akura want to have the one bed room? Did Liem want the room to himself?

"I ....Well, " She didn't look up, but rocked back and forth on her toes, "I don't really mind, whatever the two of you want." Tallie looked up and gave a weak smile to the both of them. "I could sleep here in the waiting room for all I care," she coughed out a laugh. Tallie was not one for conflict, it was better for her to just step down than to voice what she thought and cause someone to be upset.

Theo awoke the next morning. He hadn't gotten much sleep, there was a commotion during the night and Theo didn't sleep as well as he would've hoped. Lazily, he got dressed in his usual attire and left his room, his Pokeballs strapped to his belt.

Walking into the waiting room, nobody was awake, not even Joy. By simple reasoning, he deduced that the complementary breakfast has yet to be put out. He decided he would go for a walk with his Magby for awhile, he felt he had to make up for the time lost the previous day.

Theo exited the Pokemon Center and released Magby from his Pokeball. He didn't seem tired, probably sleeping in its Ball all day. He seemed rather full of energy, it didn't fit well with the lazy and quiet early morning that dawned upon Viridian. Theo decided to check out the local Pokemon Gym to see if he could find out anything that would help him in his match, the match he hoped would happen later that day.

It took a little while to traverse the huge city, but eventually he came across the Gym near the northern exit that led towards Viridian Forest and Pewter City. When the Pokemon Gym came into view, it wasn't quite what Theo expected it to be:

The place looked like it hadn't been used in months, maybe years. The windows were all blacked out, and there was a heavy lock and chains. Other than that there was nothing: No notice, no sign, nothing that could tell why the Gym was out of business.

"Guess we'll have to get our badges elsewhere Magby." Theo told his partner.

Magby showed no signs of understanding what Theo just said. It had the same, slightly confused look as that of a bored student.

"We better get back to the Center." Theo informed the little red Pokemon.

It seemed to know what this meant a bit more, for it seemed to nod.

On the return trip, the city seemed to be more active. People were going this way and that, the noise of talking began to rise, although its voice was weak now. Shops and other such places were turning on the lights and various people were entering the doors that now displayed 'Open' signs. Near a house by the northern exit, an elderly gentleman stood. He was sipping what was presumably coffee from a mug.

Theo passed him by and the old man rushed over to him with unexpected haste. Apparently, this man didn't age in the legs.

"You're a Pokemon Trainer." the man commented.

"Indeed." Theo replied, he tried to walk away but the old man stopped him.

"Surely you need to know how to capture a Pokemon." the man said.

"No, actually I-" Theo was cut off.

"Nonsense!" the man said loudly. "You're a new Trainer that came from Oak's Lab! You need to know how to catch a Pokemon."

"I'm trying to tell you that I-" Theo was cut off again.

"Be polite young man. I'm giving you valuable information and you better be thankful!" the man demanded.

After a rather basic lesson on how to catch a Pokemon, something Theo already knew, he escaped the old man.

I feel sorry for the others that will have to go by here. Theo thought to himself.

After a little bit of walking Theo entered the Center once more, this time people were active. Theo made his way to the cafeteria.

(Ooc: Lmfao, The Noob Hacker, you had me laughing my brains out. I can picture a child being pestered by an old senile man. xD)

Liem thanked the nurse and walked back over to the two girls. His main interest was to pick up his Eevee, which he'd decided to name Dozer, and go to bed. What he witness stunned him a bit, they were like zombies. Standing there, eyes blank and looking frustrated were Akura and Tillie.

The sight slightly horrified the young man, did they fall asleep standing up, eyes open? He scratched his head lightly, then stuck his hands in his pockets and began to whistle. They were still standing there, thinking... Or waiting? Maybe sleeping. So the boy glanced around awkwardly, forced a cough, then decided to give up.

Without saying a word to them, he scooped up Dozer into his arms, and made his way up the stairs. Of course, he took the single bed room. He was a boy, they were girls, it only seemed proper in his mind that opposite genders separate.

He didn't flick on the light, he simply pulled off his shirt and crawled into bed. Liem also kind of placed the still sleeping, not stirring Pokemon beside him. Within seconds, he was out cold and it was no secret, he snored like a Snorelax.

Morning lit up the room. The sheets were completely off of the bed, a sock was on the floor. The pillow was over Liem's messy head and Dozer was pressed so far up against its trainer that he was nearly beneath him. You'd think nothing could wake the boy up, until his eyes popped open.

Nature called, and he could not believe how bright it was. He stretched his arms out wildly and allowed a forceful, relieving yawn to burst through his mouth. Entering the bathroom without even closing the door, he slipped his shirt back on. Of course he smelled it first, and got ready for the day.

He made the bed, and put new socks on. He didn't even know how his shoes came off but he didn't sit there and try to figure the mystery out. Liem returned his Eevee to its ball, at least he thought it was his... Then his stomach demanded food.

As he made his way down the stairs, Theo had reentered the Pokemon Center. Liem had not yet met this trainer before, but hunger came first... And the complimentary breakfast had finally been placed out. He decided to grab a muffin and nod a hello to the other boy.

Akura let out a huge breath that must have sounded a bit weird to the others. She followed Theo upstairs and saw him take the one bed room. Naturally. "Alright, it's you and me then," Akura called back to Tallie.

She went into the only other empty room and didn't fuzz around much before going to sleep in one of the actually very cozy beds. She didn't talk to Tallie more that night. She didn't really have anything to say, but she hoped Tallie wouldn't think bad of her because of that. It was simply the way she was and she hoped they could be friends anyways.
