Appearance: Nothing really stands out about her. Celia has slick, tan hair, flowing down to her shoulders. Her tan face suppports her barely visible dark brown eyes, which are fairly skinny. The mouth is petit in size. Her tall body is skinny, for a size 9 dress. Her exact weight is 155 pounds, which largely is composed of her fierce leg muscles. Her arms are also fairly decent, but not really as strong as her lower body. Celia likes to veil her eyes with small sunglasses. On normal days, Celia wears a black athletic shirt and brown athletic shorts. Her shoes are maroon. If the day is cold, warmth is brought to Celia by a golden jacket. She has a orange dress that she wears formally to various formal occasions.

Personality: Celia is a sportophile (I'm not sure if that's a word). You will see her playing sports every day that is clear. Her favorite past time sports are basketball, baseball, soccer, and football. Her sportiness, however, is a conflict with her jobs. Sometimes, she is so caught up in sports that she forgets about her job and shows up late to work. That makes her students and bosses mad at her (she is a school teacher, I'll get to that later). She is daring, as well, as she likes to take on skateboarding and extreme sports.

Celia also has a liking of Pokemon that most people don't know about. She hangs out with her Pokemon in secret. She keeps this a secret because none of her friends like Pokemon, and Celia likes to please her friends. Luckily, she has not met the wrong crowd. Yet.

She is very patient and organized. Her patience makes her really good with the age group she works with. She has very good students in her gym classes as a result of that. A not so good quality of Celia is her lack of emotion. She really doesn't care if you're injured or your pet died. She makes you play anyway. She has a no- excuse policy. People see her as a really mean person.


Background: From the start, Celia has had it pretty rough. Her father died 2 months before she was born and her mother was suffering emotionally and economically. The family, which included Mrs. Varguila, Celia, and her older, strict brother Carlos, lived in a small house in the woods. The family lived poor and starvd. They had no car, telephone, or communication with the outside world. The nearest grocery store was 5 miles away. Celia's mom died when she was 3. Celia went through a depression and became overweight for a time. Then Carlos snapped her out of it. You see, Carlos healed emotionally quickly. He thought, "Oh, Celia is young, she's weaker than I am." So, Carlos, 21 at the time, devoted all of his time to Celia. Celia faced a lot of hard work, pain, and frustration as she struggled with housework and the rigourous excersice Celia was put through. Well, she got to a decent, fit weight by the time she was 5. Carlos decided that Celia needed an education, contact with the outside moved. So, the two of them moved to Subteria City, a city located west of Viridian Forest. Celia had contact with the outside world. That was good. She was lively and social. She made a few friends, such as Kosmo Ikorya, Rica Maloria, Christine Forest, and Mark Pierna. These friends liked sports, and Celia went along with their hobbies. She became really addicted to athletics and sports. And, because of this, she lost focus on her schoolwork. Her averages during Level 1 of Training were 89 for segment 1, 87 for segment 2, and 89 for segment 3, and an 87 for segment 4. Carlos was not happy with her. So, during the summer, Carlos made her write an essay on what she learned, and if he found any flaws with it, Celia would be writing more. If the essay was flawless, then Celia would be free to go, with supervvision by Carlos (who'd let a 6 year old out on their own?), of course, play her sports. That method snapped Celia out of her bad learning method and her averages were way better. Celia balanced school and sports and her averages became 94 in segment 1-5, a 96 in 2-1, a 95 in 2-2, and a 93 in segments 3 and 4 of level 2. After that year, during the summer, Celia met her rival. Her rival was

Name: Drake "The Runaway" Aeolus

Age: 19

Appearance: Drake Aeolus is a very tall and well built causasian man. His skin is very tanned from being exposed to the sun for long periods of time. His hair is a sandy-brown color, striped with blond from being in the sun for long periods of time. His hair style is shaggy and fairly long, messy and unkept. He has small stubble, he keeps it in check, but it can get slightly overgrown. His eyes are oval shaped, light brown flecked with gold. He has a wide nose that was broken at one point, and a crooked smile. He has a goold tooth, his incisor on the left side. He's not an overly attractive man, but he's handsome in a rugged way.

For clothing, he wears a pair of black goggles around his neck, with gold tinted lens. He has a long light brown trenchcoat, and dark brown gloves. Underneath the coat he has a black shirt and jeans, with black combat boots. He has a belt that contains all his Pokeballas and supplies, as well as a shovel strapped on his back. The shovel is beaten up and chipped, but it's sturdy and strong.

Background: Drake Aeolus was born in Johto, to a businessman and a housewife. Their names were Richard and Gloria. He lived in an extremely typical family, a house in the suburbs of Goldenrod, with a mini-van and a Growlithe. When he was 5 years old, his little brother was born, Adam Aeolus. He grew very attached to his brother, and they were best friends for years to come. When he was growing up, he began to realize that he didn't fully understand what his father did for a living. Whenever Drake asked the answer was always "I'm a businessman buddy, now go outside and play". It was always go outside and play, buddy, spot, champ, etc. Drake pursued this interest for a while, but eventually gre tired of the repeated and secretive answers.

When Drake was 13, he woke up in his suburban home, with its mini-van and dog, to the sounds of screams and the smell of smoke. His mother rushed in and grabbed him by the shoulders, whispering that he had to hide. She hurried him under the bed and the sound of glass shattering and furniture falling echoed from below. His door rattled, then flew off its hinges, trapping his mother beneath it. A tall thin man with a hooded cloak entered his room, a Weavile at his side. Drake noticed that the man had He ordered his Pokemon to use Night Slash in a croaked broken voice. Drake looked away, but still heard his mother's shriek as she was murdered. The man left her there, bleeding on the floor, and stalked out of Drake's home without a word. The crashing sounds stopped, and after minutes that felt like hours, Drake crawled out from beneath the bed, and found the rest of his family murdered, their bodies sprawled in lifeless forms around his home.

In shock, Drake dragged his family to his backyard, and dug 3 graves himself. Neighbours and police officers tried to drag him away, but he wouldn't budge. He just stood there and dug graves until his hands were raw and bloody. When he was finished he looked around and noticed the police and taken his familys bodies, but one female police officer remained and put a blanket around him as he clutched his shovel and cried until he fell into a nightmareish sleep.

He woke up in police custody, with his shovel on his lap and the same officer giving holding a breakfest tray. He smashed it out of her hands and ran out of the station, and kept running. This earned him the name "The Runaway", and he used it for years. He vowed in the backyard of his destroyed house to hunt down the hooded man and get vengeance on him, using the shovel he had been forced to dig graves with. After years of searching, he got a lead that the man is on Turia. Drake joined the research team as a survival expert, having lived on his own, mostly in the dirt, he's learned how to survive.

Personality: Despite his history, Drake puts up a good front, he's friendly and jovial around people. He is passionate and relentless in his goals, and very protective of his Pokemon. Drake acts like he wants to get to know people better, but really is just trying to make connections. He's clever, he knows that he'll need help if the hooded man is part of an organization. However, he not only seeks vengeance, but also to keep events like his familys murder for repeated. Drake has protected and guided people during his travels, and always has a story to tell. When you get to know him, he opens up slightly, revealing that their is a burden he carries that is too much for him.

Pokemon:
Drake's Pokemon aren't really for battle, they're for survival purposes in the wild. While they are effective in battling, their usage falls into the category of necessary companion than battle partner.

Cradily (Cronus)

Cradily is the "shelter" aspect of survival in the wilderness. In deserts, Cradily provides shade, and well as being able to wring juice out of fruit and water out of cacti sucessfully. One of the most powerful Pokemon Drake has for battling.

Drakes scout, this Pokemon uses speed and observation skills to easily plot paths, find shelter and food, and look for enemies. Flygon is an excellent choice, powerful and quick. Drakes favorite of the bunch (but he's not open about it)

-Safeguard

Oenone is crucial to survival in the wild. Water Pulse is a constant source of clean, fresh water for drinking, Psychic helps to obtain objects, like coconuts from trees, as well as shifting Pokemon. Signal Beam is helpful in tight spots, Drake can use it as a flare, and Safeguard is to protect against the elements. Drakes Slowking is the best survival tool he has, and is decent in battle.

Machoke (Hector)

-Light Screen

Hector is Drake's muscle, he helps dig up roots to eat, move objects to create paths, clear brush, and other jobs that need a strong Pokemon. Light Screen is helpful in deserts to shield against overexposure. The newest member of Drake's crew, Machoke is powerful in battle, but is young and can be overconfident.

Additional Information: He's allergic to certain varieties of fabric softener, and fails miserably with technology.

Penny is about 158 cm tall, and weighs about 50 kg. She has very regular, brown hair that stops just above her shoulders. Her light skin-tone relieves the dark-green eyes. She has a pretty average build for a girl her age, so not too skinny, but rather that than fat. She has an oval face.
Penny mostly dresses in jeans and tight sweaters, and when she came to Turia, she wore very dark, denim jeans and a lime and red sweater. Her shoes are pretty normal sneakers.

Personality: Penny is very ordinary when you first get to know her. She is polite to people she doesn't know, and the rest of that package. But, as you may have noticed, she is sooo normal! And she hates it. She always tries to get noticed, but just doesn't manage. She dresses in strongly colored sweters, and tends to be really loud, just to get attention.
Penny also HATES to be called Prudence. The reason? Well, its so normal and old-fashion. She wanted a name that was still somewhat like her name, but cool. So "Penny" was the obvious choice. She mostly introduces herself as Penny to everyone.
Penny likes pokemon, since pokemon see every human as an individual. This makes her feel unique, therefore she tries to be around pokemon most of the time.

Background:
Prudence Harvel was born into the very ordinary Harvel-family. Three children, two girls and the youngest a boy. They had a yellow house in a friendly neighborhood in Solaceon Town. The oldest of the three, she was never allowed a pokemon. They only had a domestic Purugly. Not very unique, no.
So at her 17th birthday, she went on and bought one single pokeball. She went looking for a pokemon, and ended up in the Maniac Tunnel. There, she was attacked by a female Hippopotas. She threw the ball, and caught her. Her parents never knew about her new friend. When she turned 18, she became in charge of herself. She took the first opportunity to travel far away. One of her friends was a researcher, and asked her to come with him to the new continent, Turia. She accepted, of course...

Carlos said, "No. You are 7 years old. No way." So, Celia just continued to try to please Carlos in academics and athletics. She got 93-97 averages in her classes, all the way to Level 6. She was a fair student. Celia rocked the athletic world, winning many competitions with the Subteria Track, Basketball, Baseball, and Cross Country teams. She was the captains of all of these teams, except soccer. The best male athlete in her class, Mark Pierna, was the soccer teams captains. The two of them had a love/hate relationships. They were best friends when off the athletic field or on the same team, but had a burning sports rivalry at the same time. Her social life was great. Since she was an awesome athlete, all the boys idolized Celia. She gained many friends. She didn't really mind this. She just went with the flow. After completing Level 6 of training, Celia went out into the world. She got a Tyrogue from Carlos. She competed in Kanto (lost in preliminary round), Johto (32nd), Sinnoh (16th), Hoenn (8th), and Variko (64th). She gained many rivals and lost many friends. Christine Forest became a rival. She didn't think she was doing too well in her Pokemon. She turned back to sports. Celia competed in the Veilstone Hardhead's Basketball Team, which was in the NBA of the Pokemon world. She also became a gym teacher at Heights Middle School, next to Mt. Coronet. She did this for 5 years. Meanwhile, the research team for Turia was searching for someone who was athletic, smart, quick, and organized. They were going around Hoenn to scout out recruits for the research team, where the Veilstone Hardheads were playing an away game against the Dewford Pellippers. Celia played wonderfully there. She was really swift, agile, fast, and had grand fundamentals on the court. The group thought, "This girl is grand at sports. She is going to be the athlete of the Turia Research team." So, they went up to Celia. Celia, wanting to please them, said yes. She didn't know what she was in for, though.

He is a very determined fighter, never holding back, no matter how tired he is. He is strong and athletic, like Celia.

Appearance: Amber is very short, busty, and plump. She could knock down a door with her hips. Actually, her shape makes her look cute, and she takes advantage of this whenever possible. She wears black-rimmed oval spectacles and silly plastic barrettes in her hair. Her eyeshadow is frequently purple or powder blue. Amber's long, wiry black hair and light brown skin betray her Latino parentage. She has large dark eyes, a snub nose, and a smile like a Cheshire cat. Amber prefers to wear short skirts and seductive button-ups, but for research work in Turia she'll go with modest sweaters in natural tones and hip-hugging jeans. She always wears a simple golden cross around her neck.

Personality: Amber has both the stature and temperament of a leprechaun. She's very fun-loving and energetic, and always wants to be where the action is. You'll find her at parties, nightclubs, and in the audience for dangerous stunts. She has a mischievous streak a mile wide. Mere practical jokes are beneath her, but, still, don't fall asleep while she's around. Amber is also very outgoing and has no sense of shame. She will strike up conversations with total strangers. She will bat her eyelashes at anyone who looks in her direction. She will embarrass you in front of everyone you know. Sometimes she pretends to have a wacky accent. In short, a complete attention hog. However, she is a genuinely kind person. Though she sticks her nose in everyone's business, it's only because she wants to help. Her overbearing friendliness can be a little hard to resist.

Amber swears like a sailor, by which I mean pretty much all the time. I'll be bleeping out a lot of stuff. XD

Background: Amber was born into a very large household, with two younger brothers, her parents, and two grandparents living in one small townhouse. From an early age, Amber had to help raise her two irritating siblings, and cook and clean around the house. There wasn't a lot of time or money for a Pokemon journey, so Amber missed out on that stage of her life. As several of her classmates received starters and vanished from view, Amber remained in school, playing hopscotch on the sidewalk and hide-and-seek in the park. She never quite got over it. At 20, Amber still has dreams of starting a Pokemon journey and becoming champion of Johto. Now might be a good time to start, actually, since her education money has run out…

That needs some explaining. You see, Amber and a close group of friends got together in their last year of high school and made a sacred vow that they would all graduate together, become roommates together, and scorn their parents' old-fashioned views together. Amber was all for it. She really wanted to move out of her parents' cramped townhouse. And it worked well for the first year. Amber and her friends found a place, moved in, and went to college together. The sense of adulthood and adult responsibilities was exhilarating. Then the atmosphere relaxed, there were some drunken parties, things got out of hand, and bad decisions were made. Amber denies everything, but still, her parents are upset. They want her back where they can keep an eye on her. Until then, no monthly cheques or textbook money.

But Amber prefers to hang on her own. For her second year in college, she's paid for everything herself. Unfortunately, money does seem to run out quickly, especially as she's paying rent without anyone's help since the group broke up. Her only option seems to be a hiatus from college so she can save up some money. But going back to school might be tougher than she thinks…hmm.

Amber joined the research team partly for the experience and partly for the money it pays. She was majoring in biology, so she's well qualified for the work. She's also had experience volunteering in a Pokemon shelter, which means she's done the stuff she's being asked to do now: tagging bird Pokemon to track their movements and behaviour. She hopes to spot some new Pokemon to add to her team on Turia.

She was a frequent visitor on the balcony of her shared apartment, and Amber taught the Pokemon to eat seeds out of her hand. Pretty soon the Murkrow's status was elevated to 'pet'. In the spring of her second year, Amber caught the Murkrow in a PokeBall and decided to train her. Amber has battled a few Ratatta with Bella, although the Pokemon is far from becoming a powerhouse. She is a very loud and inquisitive Murkrow, not entirely unlike Amber herself.

Unnamed male Eevee
Moves: Tackle, Tail Whip, Helping Hand

The Eevee isn't really Amber's, although he's in her care. The little guy is practically a newborn, he's so young and inexperienced. The researchers aim to use the Eevee as an evolutionary stone sensor, and maybe discover a new Eeveelution along the way. (That would just make everyone's day.) Amber carries him around everywhere like a pet.

Appearance: Raikon is a very tall person, about 195 cm tall and he has deep blue eyes, like cobalt. It somewhat misfits his dark brown hair, but he doesn't care much about his lookalike, which can be seen in his style of clothing. Most of the things he wears are made of leather or a compareable sturdy material, and is very dirty. However, his body is in good shape.

Personality: Raikon is a critic person, and looks down on strangers. When you start talking to him, you promptly get to hear to move out of the way. As long as you aren't somewhat benefical to Raikon, you barely will get the chance of interaction. More persistant persons will be ignored by him. Even though he doesn't appear like it, he is able to be a friendly and kind person, but only to those who earned his trust. This includes his Pokemon. He doesn't quite like Gym leaders or compareable persons, but he views them as honest people.

He is also a persistant person, who pursues his goals until he achieves them. He hates failing at reaching his goals. Getting helped is usually something he dislikes, since that underlines his failure.

A good way to earn his trust is to challenge him to a battle. Even if you lose the battle, if you showed battling spirit, he will respect you at least.

Background: Raikon was always a person that prefers to be alone. His motivation to go on a journey was to become the strongest trainer in the world. He had nothing to hold him back home, because there he couldn't get enough skill to become the strongest. As he heard of the Turia region, he promptly went there. He is there to see a lot of pokemon and see their habits and abilities. He is aware of the happenings there, and he is strictly against the plans of the Silph Coporation.

Shock is a perfect pokemon, because it shares the fighting will with Raikon and has the same mistrust against strangers. He is a very good friend of Raikon.



Scizor (Justice)

Scizor is a pokemon Raikon likes very much, because it's really strong. It has a strong will of rivality, and always tries the best to be Raikon's strongest pokemon.



Houndoom (Cerberus)

-Faint Attack

Houndoom is very loyal to Raikon and almost behaves like a puppy when he's near. He isn't weak, but it isn't the least bit aggressive like the rest of his kind.



Aggron (Hammer)
-Thunderbolt
-Blizzard
-Dark Pulse
-Aerial Ace

Hammer looks big and threatning, but in fact it has a michivous personality. Raikon likes it because it suprises opponents with very strange attacks.

Appearance: At five eleven and with quite a muscular build Ryan is an imposing figure to most people. He has blue eyes and rough skin that has been slightly tanned over years of being outside in the sun. As for notable facial features, his nose is very distinct being quite large but lacking other features and he has thick eyebrows.


Ryan's history of being a former solider shows in his appearance, everything about him is kept clean and in standard with military procedure. His blond hair, is kept in a short but neat crew cut and he makes sure that he is clean shaven every time he gets the chance. His normal attire is to a similar standard, all neatly pressed folded or polished and spotless until it is needed, a pair of black combats, a short sleeve black t-shirt and a pair of walking boots are all included in this.


Personality: Ryan's father instilled in him a sense of mercy that has been with him all his life, while this doesn't stopping him from doing what he is ordered it does make him do it in the way that causes minimal suffering to everyone involved. Many of the other hunters see this as a weakness but Ryan tends to see it as a strength. The limited supply of money that Ryan had during his childhood has made him accustomed to quite a modest life style, he has few possessions but he treasures those he has. He is level headed for most the time but has a very bad temper when he gets angry. His former army days have made him follow commands with out question, even if the oppose his own views. In his spare time Ryan will often be found working out or looking after his equipment.


Background: Ryan was born in Azelea Town and spent his childhood in the surrounding woods, learning to survive in the wilderness. His father was in the logging industry and as a man of the outside world he taught him a great deal of what he knew. Every weekend was spent out in the woods camping with his father. Ryan's mother worked at a restaurant in the town, and with both his parents earning a low wage money was always tight in Ryan's house but this didn't cause any trouble for him or his family .


At the age of fifteen Ryan set out to become a Pokemon trainer but was only on the road six months before he decided it wasn't the life for him. He was fine in the wide open spaces but he never really did get on with the cites so he packed up and went back home with his first three Pokemon(Lady Macbeth, Hamlet and Tybalt). For a few months he had a part time job at a carpenters, but then aged Sixteen he decided to join the army, more specifically the commando unit. Both him and his Pokemon were put through a rigorous training and came out a soldiers. It was during this time that both Hamlet and Tybalt evolved and a training exercise in Hoenn gave him the chance to catch a Tropius.


For around four years Ryan's job was a solider then one night he got into a fight with another solider, who had been trying to goad Ryan into doing something for weeks, and was dishonourably discharged. This came as such a shock to Ryan, who hadn't ever really had another proper job. Suddenly he had no work and no income, for a while he was in and out of jobs as a security guard Eventual he became a bounty hunter of sorts and about six months ago Silph Co. approached him, offering him a contract as a hunter, he took up the job with out question.


Pokemon:


Lady Macbeth(Female Ariados)
Moves: Spider Web, Poison Jab, Night Shade, Leech Life
Lady Macbeth was Ryan's first Pokemon he caught her as a Spinarak and evolved her quite soon after. With in his team she acts as a trapper, immobilizing Pokemon or preventing them from fleeing to make catching them easier.


Hamlet (Male Poliwrath)
Moves: Hypnosis, Belly Drum, Wake-Up Slap, Bubble Beam
The second Pokemon that Ryan caught, as a Poliwhirl, Hamlet is used by Ryan for one of two reasons, they are to put a Pokemon to sleep to make it easier to capture or to weaken an opponent before bringing out Tybalt.


Tybalt (Male Steelix)
Moves: Stone Edge, Crunch, Dig, Iron Tail
Tybalt is Ryan's third Pokemon, Tybalt was first caught as an Onix and up until he evolved was as level headed as most Onix are. However after he evolved Tyalt developed a bad temper and what Ryan sees as an overly aggressive attitude towards fighting other Pokemon.


Amelia (Female Tropius)
Moves: Sweet Scent, Magic Leaf, Fly, Leaf Storm
As Ryan's fourth Pokemon, Amelia is the latest addition to Ryan's team, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't have a use. Amelia's ability to fly has made here Ryan's primary form of transport and here Sweet Scent move makes her able to lure Pokemon for Ryan.


Additional Information: Ryan's equipment includes a hand gun, knife, camo gear, pack, belt and other ex-army gear most of it is illegal, bought off the black market, and about twenty to thirty years old.
