    • It's time for the Twist Tournament!
    Approved by Horizon ​


    Tournament 1 Sign-Ups Are In Progress! No More Entries Past Friday, April 24th!​


    Rules:​

    1. NO SPAMMING​

    2. NO FLAMING (DON'T MAKE PEOPLE FEEL BAD)​

    3. NO HACKED POKEMON (THIS INCLUDES POKESAV EVEN IF YOU DON'T MAKE IMPOSSIBLE TEAMS)​

    4. You must have the battle done by the deadline, or else both you and the opponent are disqualified​

    5. If you and your opponent disagree on who won, both players will be eliminated from the tournament​

    6. If it is found that a player is using a hacked pokemon and KNOWS about it, they will be banned from ALL future tournaments​

    7. If a disconnection happens and there is no clear winner in sight, then the battlers may have a rematch.​

    8. If a player is a NO SHOW, they will be eliminated from the tournament.​

    9. All battles are held as a Single battle, level 100​

    10. There are no ubers allowed in this tournament​

    11. All standard clauses apply​

    12. All battles are over Wi-Fi. Shoddy is not allowed in this tournament.​

    13. Battles are suggested to be held in the OU tier.​

    .::The Twists::.​

    1. In the first two weeks, the players will face 3 opponents, and the top half of the players with the most points will move on to the next round. NOTE: The opponents will be randomly picked, and I will post them up on this board.​

    2. Each win counts as 6 points, a loss counts as 2 points, and a tie (if it should happen) is worth 4 points.​

    3. The points system will continue throughout the tournament, and the player with the most points will get a prize (the winner gets a prize too)​

    4. Starting in the quarter-finals and continuing to the semi-finals, the players get the option to solve a maze- each different than the other- for points. Solving the maze equals 10 points, and not solving the maze gets you 2 points.​

    5. The championship match is a best 2 out of 3, because in my opinion, 1 match is not enough to see who is the better battler.​

    I am in. Latias is OU if it without Soul Dew, so I think it is allowed.

    There are certain tiers for competitive battling, and can be found here (click).

    Uber: To strong for standard play
    OU: Average used Pokemon EX: Gyarados, Tyranitar, etc.
    BL: Too strong for UU, but is not used as much in OU
    UU: Usually Pokemon are outclassed by others in OU and have some bad cons to work a bit bad in OU (still usable)
    NU: Pokemon here are outclassed from Pokemon in UU
    Limbo: Currently being decided Pokemon

    But, those aren't exactly good definitions for them. XP Go here for a good definition on them (click).
