Can I just get an answer...Why did the Mods plan this if they knew that they would cause unwanted conflict. 20 members have been needlesly banned for getting worked up over this. Sorry if this goes the wrong way but some bannings of people were unfair considering the scenarios.

It was a joke. And it is not only on the staff, members acted unnececcerily towards it by posting spam, if they do such, it just shows that they are as bad as those that played it, only their spam is no joke.

These bans were only because of members who decided to take it upon themselves to get themselves banned. And so far, as I've seen only five people received bannings, through complete fault of there own.. :<

And it was still a joke, its sad that none of you still can't forget it and laugh it off..

PC is still a great forum, the only thing bringing it down is the number of immoral members who can't take a simple joke.. :<

20 is a gross exaggeration, and I find it disappointing that you're yet another person who considers all bans to be unjust, completely disregarding the fact that a ban is a punishment for brazen disregard of the rules, but since anti-staff equates to heroism in some parts here, there obviously exists a major and one-sided exception for such hate speech. ANYONE who was banned today was done so for spam and/or malicious speech.

We take bans incredibly seriously; and, likewise, we stop taking seriously those who refuse to accept this.

I can see why people got angry. They really did take it to heart. Once i could come on this Forum for a laugh, and i could still do, but suddenly i am worried what i say. Sheepnut was in my eyes unuckily banned and some others really didn't find it funny.

Woah... if I recall correctly, there were three people banned out of this whole ordeal, and that was for swearing/flaming and basically coming right out and asking for it. -_-

The people who we "Banned" were in on the joke. We let them in on it because we knew we could trust them to keep it a secret. They consented to being "Banned" until the joke was over.

You people whine and gripe and complain about how the staff don't know how to have fun, and we're too strict, yet when we try to have a little fun, you start going off about that. It's impossible to please you people. >>

The staff, people who can take a joke, etc. The only ones getting bent out of shape are the ones that were made to look like fools because they can't take being the butt of the joke for once. The only real bans that were handed out were because of spam, swearing, and outright asking for one.

Anyone who was banned was not baited into their actions, might I add. I firmly believe that those who acted out were the ones who bore the most intense anti-staff resentment before this incident, which merely galvanized them into taking their ill-fated soapboxes into the public where they believed their lunatic ravings would reach sympathetic ears.
