((OOC: I know it definitely isn't the best I could've done, but I don't want to get any more behind, and I was kind of running out of ideas for this as I went along. I have how he'll act in the actual game all planned out, but SU's are definitely not my strong point. :\ Hopefully, it's good enough. xD Thanks for letting me give it a shot.))

Name: Dexter Oityar
Age: 18

Appearance: Dexter's look is quite intimidating at first. He has the huge build of a football player, with large arms and legs, broad shoulders, and large hands and feet. He stands at about six feet tall, and weighs around two hundred pounds. Coming from the coldest area of Sinnoh, Dexter's skin is almost as pale as the snow that covers the ground. His dark brown hair is cut short, trimmed neatly around the ears and sort of poofy on top. His face, consisting of light blue eyes and a big nose an mouth, is surrounded by a thin layer of stubble, on it's way to becoming a beard.

Because of the cold climate, Dexter is usually found in a thick pair of grey sweatpants, that cut off shorty below where his brown snow boots begin. On top, he wears a matching grey tank top with a maroon hoodie to cover it. His only 'accessories' are a pair of rubber bracelets on his left wrist. One, colored red, says 'COURAGE'. The other, a yellow bracelet, says 'HOPE'. Both were given to him by his nanny and closest friend, Martha.

History: Dexter was pretty much 'made by accident'. His mother, a star performer in the music industry, was on tour when she accidentally hooked up with Dex's unknown father. Not having time for him, Dexter's mother (Naomi Richards) hired a nanny in Snowpoint City to take care of him. The nanny, Martha Oityar, was an old lady who had formerly been a successful coordinator.

Dexter grew up with Martha, barely seeing his mother throughout his whole life. The two were inseparable (of course, it was Martha's job), and did everything and anything together. They built snow sculptures, ran errands for people on town, and watched gym battles in Snowpoint Gym. Most of all, Dexter especially liked to hear stories of when Martha had been a coordinator. He dreamed of one day being just as well-known as she had been, an excellent performer.

As Dex grew older, he continued to help out around the town. Everybody that lived their knew him and Martha, and could depend on him to get anything that they needed done. He worked well with their Pokemon, and even befriended a few of his own by the lake near his town. He was looking into college for becoming a performer when he was mysteriously taken into The Game.

Personality: Dexter is definitely not what you would expect from a guy who looks like he could potentially beat up a raging Beartic. Although he can get angry and upset when provoked, Dexter is usually a laid-back, cheerful kind of guy. His greatest ambition, which is also something you wouldn't think, is to be a top coordinatior in the Sinnoh region (or even the world). Martha has raised him to always be honest, kind, and helpful to others.

On the downside, Dexter is definitely not the brightest crayon in the box. Although he can perform well with Pokemon, and do small tasks for townsfolk, he is almost entirely dependant on his nanny for things like food and clean clothes. He has been raised with Martha his whole life, and has not even tried living without her. He also hasn't had as much experience battling with Pokemon as much as some of the other 'competitors', because his main focus is contests.

Introduction, Cirrus

"Hellllo Contestant!"

A loud booming voice pierces the darkness and awakens an ache deep within your brain. Youreyes slowly flutter open, but you can't make anything out in front of you. Your arms and legs lie limp, and despite your greatest efforts, you are unable to move them. The voice cuts in again.

"Don't worry too much about the paralysis, It will wear off in a few minutes-BUT FIRST, I have to explain the game to you. To begin, your goal is to survive. Of course, it's not *quite* that simple. You are not the only contestant in this challenge! There are 11 others, each fighting for the same thing you are: life. Their actions will likely be unpredictable. You could find that they'll make an alliance with you, or maybe they'll kill you just to eliminate a possible threat. Who knows? Not I. Or do I? Probably not, no... ANYWAY, You should be able to move now, so please sit up and observe your surroundings."

You slowly pull yourself up into a sitting position and take a look around you. the room you're in is circular and cramped, barely reaching 7 feet across. Inthe center of the floor you notice a small cut out circle. There isn't anything else in the room that draws your immediate attention, and after a few moments the booming voice resonates from unseen speakers once more.

"When the game begins, a small pedestal will rise out of the floor. Within the pedestal, you will find a small box. This box will contain everything you need to get started, as well as your new best friends."

The voice pauses for a moment, and the comes back in a quieter, far more serious tone.

"I'm not going to lie. This challenge will push you farther than anything else ever has. You might lose who you are as a person along the way. Your humanity will be tested to the fullest extent. I wish you luck."

The voice cuts out. A feminine voice quickly replaces it.

"The Game shall begin in a few moments. Your goal is to survive for as long as you can. The lives of others don't matter. You are to do whatever you can to keep yourself alive. It is recommended that you trust no one, but you are free to form Alliances as you wish. Now, a countdown from 3 shall begin, and the pedestal will rise. Grab your box and the door leading to the outside will open. The Game begins in 3...2...1...

With a loud hiss and the sound of Hydraulics, a small pedestal rises out of the floor, just as the voice said it would. A cardboard box lies within the pedestal, and at a closer glance you can see it is made of a UPS shipping box. Upon opening the box you are presented with the following supplies:

2 Pokeballs, 1 inhabited
A bottle of pills, unlabled(15) (Taking these will make you Hallucinate =D)
A Katana - Dull (Yes. YOU GET A FREAKING KATANA It's dull though)
1 Hyper potion
And a strange watch. Upon putting the watch on-IF you put it on- It will grip your wrist tightly and you will not be able to remove it. If you fiddle with it, it will become tighter and tighter, until it cuts off all circulation. After a few minutes it will loosen again.

Within the Pokeballs you find a Bagon. This little girl is one of the sweetest things you wil ever see, and she will obey your every command. E is also extremely h*rny CURIOUS ABOUT THINGS. She longs to fly, and will often jump off of tall things to try. Her hard head prevents her from taking damage when she falls.

Once you have gathered all of your supplies from the box, the door opens, and an intense heat flows in through the door. Once you venture outside, you find yourself in a scorching desert with mountainous sand dunes. A few Cacti can be seen here and there. Wild Dunsparce live beneath the desert sands, and they come out at night to hunt for food supplies. Gangs of Maractus and Cacturne drift across the sands, killing anything that comes across them. It's going to be difficult to find shelter here as there is nothing to build with. If you're lucky, you might find an abandoned Glass cave that was built by fire pokemon.(Notice how I said 'LUCKY') Most of the caves are still inhabited though, and I don't think the pokemon living inside will be too happy to see you. There are about 3 oasis in the desert, but the chances of you finding them are rarer then a needle in a haystack. If you need to get around more easily, hop on a numel or camerupt and go for a ride! They tend to be peaceful so long as you don't attack them. If you're lucky, they might just lead you to one of the Oases! On occasion, the belongings of someone else who has perished in this inhospitable desert will surface in the san. If you see something that looks suspicious, check it out! Also, come nightfall, you're going to need warmth and light. The ghosts come out at night….

I've been working ceaselessly forever and EVER.

But in the process, I did a drawing of Calixte to be posted soon, and also I am writing a post now.

In addition. Who is in the taiga-snowy area? If you plan to do some interaction with Calixte go right ahead, I'm all up for that. But VM me or something or maybe mention it here, kay? That way I don't accidentally overlook it.
