  • Ugh. I always hate these threads. I can never pick my favorite songs. >: But here are my top five currently that I just love:

Born Losers by Matthew Good from Hospital Music
Just a great song. I can never get enough of it. It's a pretty sad song when you know what it's about, but it always calms me down when I'm stressed or bothered.

    Top 5 favorite songs

    -------------

Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap from Conditions
Another mood song. Whenever it's cloudy out, I play this song automatically. It's just the right tune for that weather and it always makes me feel more relaxed.

    -------------

Arizona by Kings of Leon from Because of the Times
My absolute favorite song ever. It's just the best thing I've ever heard. XD

    -------------

Junebug by Robert Francis from Before Nightfall
I got this song for free on iTunes a long time ago and one day, I remembered it and listened to it. Just another great, mood-raiser.

    -------------

Mentiras by Los Amigos Invisibles from Commercial
On vacation in Mexico, this song was playing and every time it came on the television station, I would miss the part that showed what it was called. After three days, I finally got the name and bought the song off iTunes. It's just good. XD

Hey, Soul Sister by Train from Save Me, San Francisco
Supertime by Berndsen from Lover In The Dark

  • I'm Metalhead Central.

5 - Brompton Cocktail by Avenged Sevenfold
4 - Afterlife by Avenged Sevenfold
3 - A Town Called Hypocrisy by Lostprophets
    2 - Rooftops by Lostprophets
1 - Critical Acclaim by Avenged Sevenfold.

A Little Piece of Heaven nearly made it.

Ironically, Avenged Sevenfold are all Christians, but I am a 'non-believer.' They don't sing religious songs though. Far from it. A Little Piece of Heaven has swears, murder and a particular something else... if you're very easily offended, I recommend avoiding the spoilers...

  • Really really hard choice.

    1. Pearl Jam - Black
    2. Pink Floyd - Any Colour You Like (or Us and Them; can't choose.)
    3. Mastodon - Capillarian Crest
    4. Buckethead - Padmasana
    5. Buckethead - Sketches of Spain (For Miles)

Others that switch into the list at random times are: Buckethead - Lurker at the Threshold Part 2, Too Many Humans, Earth Heals Herself, Soothsayer, Final Wars, Baseball Furies; Bob Dylan - Mr. Tambourine Man, All Along the Watchtower, Tangled Up in Blue; Foo Fighters - Best of You, The Pretender, Everlong (Acoustic); The Mountain Goats - No Children (Moral Orel woot!); Pearl Jam - Alive, Garden, Once, Porch, basically all of Ten; Pink Floyd - All of Dark Side of the Moon, Dogs, Comfortably Numb, Run Like Hell, Shine on you crazy diamond, etc. Lots of Pink Floyd.

A little more than 5. Oh well.

  • You're about to see how stupidly broad my musical taste is:

    1. La Nuit by Robots in Disguise (It's sung entirely in french, and I know it by heart, AND I understand it :D )
    2. The Tears by Robots in Disguise
    3. Drowned (Acoustic) by Tim Minchin
    4. Ten Foot C**k and a Few Hundred Virgins by Tim Minchin (I would not recommend if you are easily offended or particularly religious)
    5. Tundra Rap by The Mighty Boosh

Add to that every single other thing those three have ever done, and that's a complete list. These are just the top faves ;)
