Ruby and Sapphire also introduced double battles, but had far fewer than important, they werent correctly incorporated until Emerald which was remake of Ruby and Sapphire, They might have done that just to see if they would get good feedback and then add more or take them out depending on such feedback

Oh you're right, Emerald did put more emphasis on the double battles. Trainers previously in RS that were only single battles, became double battles. B2W2 should definitely follow up with this.

^ I wonder why they didn't put them into the Subway in the first place. Of course at the time they were trying to make each one unique to a different region.
But to see them in the Subway would be really cool. That would certainly make it a bit more difficult imo.

If they're trying to make it specific they can have in White: "This train is the cutting edge train of the future, we're sure these battles will catch on!" and in Black: "This train imitates battles that were very popular in the past!"

And PokeLegend and Kaori make a good point. So maybe they WILL put more emphasis on the triple/rotation abttle themes. Where you come into a crossing and three people see you at once, and then the battle will begin, or maybe they'll have groups much like the couples that challenge you.

They don't have to be three people, imagine the Emerald way of doing it. There's a path and two people spot you at once.

Trainer 1: Oh, hey, I challenge you to a Double Battle!

Trainer 2: Hey, I saw you!

Trainer 1 and 2: Triple Battle commence!

Smogon has a funny picture of what Rotation Battles actually look like. The battle are literaly faught on a giant gear suspended by Claydol. I would love to see a special arena in the game were such a thing is animated.

I can see that, but I mostly see one Trainer giving you a heads up that you are about to enter a triple/rotation battle and then the battle begins with his 3 Pokemon and your first 3. Plus it would be cool if Heartbreaker Charles had some family and friends that will also challenge you to a tri/rot battle.

Family, well, considering he's a Heartbreaker, he probably has a few wives. Wouldn't it be interesting if he had four wives you meet and two specialise in triple battles and the other in rotationals? XD; I'd find that hilarious, or at least more than anyone else he is related to.

Or had since he is a heartbreaker and not necessarily a cheater? Hmm. But yeah it would be cool if like, ladies he used to be with specialized in triple battles within one game (Black 2 or White 2) and then ladies in the other game specialized in Rotationals.

Maybe it could just be the same two ladies, or the same one lady (that he'd "settle down" by then) and that she just changes hair colour and does the triple/rotational battles in the version and he does the opposite to them in your version :3

I'm not really sure how they could utilise Triple/Rotational battles any more than they did in BW. Well, I might be saying that because I wasn't crazy about them- I guess with Triple battles it was a matter of simply knocking the opponent out, but Rotation... Yeesh, I still don't think I fully understand it, lol. I wouldn't mind if there were just as few Triple/Rotation battles as in BW.
