Espeon is horribly hard to train with its limited moveset at the start. >_>

  • Hydreigon was the hardest to train. :p. I took me forever to get to level 64. So much so that I didn't train him alone... my Gothitelle helped her get to level 64.

Catching up to Gothitelle is a problem since Hydreigon is a level 76 and the latter is a level 86

  • I'm grinding a Tynamo at the moment to get it to Lv39 so it evolves. It constantly gets KO'd by Audino that are over 10 levels weaker than it.. AARGH!

I caught a Purrloin as well. But unfortunately I didn't have the sense to give it up early so it dragged the rest of my team down. :/

None of the Pokes on my current team but Larvesta were hard to train. In 3 levels I'll have a terrifying Volcarona to take on the 7th gym with a team of lv59-60.

Thank you Gamefreak for providing Audinos.

I really had a hard time training my Trubbish... So I gave it up and thrown it in trash, where it should belong. :)

  • For me Bouffalant was fairly difficult to train, once he was strong enough to fight for himself he started getting KO'd in every other fight his defenses were a bit awkard so I just had to go back to Exp. Share.

  • Torna-stinking-dus. Like The Pokemon, Hate Training It

I'm EV Training It Now In HP, Defense/Sp. Defense, Sp. Attack, And Also Attack. So, Everything Except Speed, Cause That Would Make Prankster Useless. Its Horrid Defenses Make Me Wanna Sell Everything I Have To Buy Heaps Of Vitamins Sometimes, But All In All, I Like The 'Mon, So If I Want It In My Party, I'd Better EV Train It To Being Successful, Now That I Know How EVs Work.

"...but you're too weak to be a worthy pokemon!"

pardon if this is in the wrong section, please lock or move it to the appropiate area if needed

    -

lately i've been experimenting with all kinds of pokemon to use in my team. big, small, tough, fast, tender, cute, mean, brave pokemon of all shapes and sizes i can get my hands on, i've been at crossroads with most of my choices due to them being not up to stuff, too weak, too fragile, or are not a certain type.

do you ever feel that sometimes you may want to drop them off of your party completely? or try your hardest to make them as reliable as the rest of your team? how would you go about doing that?

Your thread isn't exactly the same as the hardest to train thread, however, based on the way you worded it, people are going to discuss the hardest Pokemon to train. :( And in the hardest to train thread, people can express if they wanted to give up on the Pokemon, or if they didn't. :D

    Merged~

To be honest, I'm actually just training my Purrloin right now on Munna because they can't touch it due to their only attack being Psychic-type. |D I hope it'll get more useful, though. It's still pretty frail and it doesn't hit hard enough to make up for that imo. :(

  • I had problems training two of my Pokémons, Panpour and Pansage. I didn't have any difficulties training my Pansear, so I thought I'd complete the trifecta, to no avail. I got them up to level 22 each before I decided to stop training them.

I've had problems keeping my Swoobat up with my team because she always seems to faint when she is in battle, and get really hard with the post-E4 level jump, but I still love her all the same <3

  • White: Blitzle and Vanillite die to everything. Even in their second stages, they're the weaker branch of my team. They're walled by a sad lot.

Black: I don't recall having any problems raising one.. I dumped Stoutland mid-game because the WorkUp+Retaliate stopped being as cool. My Ferrothorn destroys everyone in the sports dome (and he was 20 levels under them!). It's funny how my Black team has about several substitutes since I couldn't decide only 6 while my White team is still a measly 4. :(
