Wow, haven't updated in a while. Haven't had much of a chance to play, but I've betean Liza and Tate with a few Surfs. I've reached Sootopolis, but I can't get into the gym. Just waiting for someone in the Q&A thread to tell me what to do... does anybody here know how to unlock the gym?

  • You've to beat Team Aqua/Magma in Seafloor cave first. After that you've to fight Groudon (R) or Kyogre (S) or go to Pacifidlog Town to make Rayquaza stop them battling. (E) The you should be able to access the gym.

I reached Snowpoint now, Team is maybe 5 levels higher than in he last post. Didnt enter the Gym yet.

  • Yahoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
    Red Down!!!!!
    That was actually pretty intense......
    Pikachu-Chupacabra+Nevermeltice+Ice Punch=win
Espeon-All I could do was Fly with Orlock, then revive
    Venasaur-Beat with Persophone
Blastoise-Did a lot of damage...got Orlocked' in the end
    Snorlax-Had to toxic this thing.....
    Charizard-Absoloutley Beastly....had to Toxic/Hyper Potion Spam

I finally see what Koga meant by poisoning, confusion, etc.

    FINAL TEAM

    Carmilla
    F 60
    Razor Leaf
    Growth
    Sleep Powder
    Hidden Power-Bug
Was really useful early on..I wish I could have gotten a Leaf stone
    sooner....................Sleep powder Rocks.-Mandrake's succesor....

    Orlock
    M 60
    Fly
    Bite
    Confuse Ray
    Detect
Had a LONG suck streak, but became extremely
powerful and invaluable during and after E4-Nosferatu's succesor

    Chupacabra
    F 60
    Ice Punch
    Fire Punch
    Headbutt
    Double Kick
Brutus's succesor, she played the same role...pretty powerful, and with
    good type coverage..

    Persephone
    F 60
    Psychic
    Psybeam
    Attract
    Gust
Possibly MVP...Attract saved me more times then I'd like to admit....
Psybeam and Psychic did Major Damage- Pazuzu's succesor

    Marie
    F 60
    Earthquake
    Slugde Bomb
    Toxic
    Bite
Last one to join....still pretty cool Toxic was absolutley vital for beating Red-
    Laveau's succesor

    Lot harder than Kanto........

East of Sootopolis, there are several trenches, where you can dive, in the sea, i think the cave is in the second one of them.

AS mondays suck said, its near Sootopolis. You will recognize it bcuz it has no seaweed and u enter a cave with a submarine (the one the Aquas stole)

Huh... I actually already went there. I didn't work out to go up in the submarine cave though.

  • Beat Candice, beat Team Galactic, beat Palkia and beat Volkner. Saved somewhere on the sea between Sunnyshore and Victory Road.

    Team:

    Suicide / Staraptor m Lv. 51
    Spr_4d_398_m.png

    @ Fist Plate
    Naughty Nature / Intimidate
    - Double Team
    - Brave Bird
    - Close Combat
    - Aerial Ace
Aerial Ace because i need a move i can use use against enemys with weaker defenses, and Flying can hit anything better than Normal except for Electrics, and that isn't Staraptor's job.

    MagicGuard / Clefable f Lv. 53
    Spr_4d_036.png

    @ Icicle Plate
    Bold Nature / Magic Guard
    - Shadow Ball
    - Thunderbolt
    - Flamethrower
    - Ice Beam
My only weapon against that annoying Bronzors, Team Galactic had plenty of them, so Clefable is a bit overleveled now.

    ChainChomp / Girafarig f Lv. 52
    Spr_4d_203_m.png

    @ Amulet Coin
    Quirky Nature / Inner Focus
    - Stomp
    - Grass Knot
    - Psychic
    - Thunderbolt
I need to find the Earthquake TM, i just looked it up on Bulbapedia and it says Wayward Cave, i thought the TM would be in Victory Road... That means i could have had Earthquake before, Volkner would have been a lot easier that way...

    HM Slaves:
NinjaThrwr / Bibarel Lv. 23 (Surf, Strength, Cut, Rock Smash)
Plaupa / Chatot Lv. 12 (Peck, Growl, Mirror Move, Fly)
KBeavorz / Bibarel Lv. 16 (Rock Climb, Defense Curl, Rollout, Waterfall)
Well, i caught this second Bibarel and wanted to call it King of the Beavers, then i realized i forgot about the 10 character limit and for some reason i called it KBeavorz, which sounds... pretty retarded.

Well, I wiped Team Aqua out of Seafloor Cavern, then did all the Rayquaza shizzle, then beat Juan's gym. I have to say this - I HATE Kingdra with Double Team and Rest. I just had to sit there and wait until Rest's PP ran out, repeatedly using Shock Wave. Still, I got the Rain Badge, caught a Bagon to get a Dragon Scale, traded at got myself a Kingdra. I went back to the Abandoned Ship to get the Ice Beam TM, and taught it to Kingdra. I swept through Victory Road, and then started training up.

Then disaster struck! I was doing training, and I just headed back to heal, and because I had the speed toggle on, I accidentally went straight into the E4! Being horribly underlevelled, I managed to get past Sidney and Phoebe before being demolished by Glacia. So I'm training my team up to lvl. 50 now before trying again properly.

    My team so far:

    - Wailord
    - Swampert
    - Kingdra
    - Milotic
    - Pelliper
    - Sharpedo

    POKEMON FIELD JOURNAL:
Wartortle: Although slow, he fights with a surprising tenacity in battle, getting up close and personal to deliver his Mega Punches or battering from afar with Water Gun. Personality wise, he is very proud and aggressive, and tends to think of himself as the "leader" of my team.

Gyarados: Much calmer than one would expect, Skulkraken spends most of her time sleeping. Whenever challenged she'll put on a might show of roaring, but unlike Wartortle she's not truly aggressive. In the heat of battle however, she becomes a completely different Pokemon. Dragon Rage's fly left and right before she swoops in to deliver the finishing bite, some trainers give up at the sight of it.

Vaporeon: He struts about like a Glameow, clearly proud to be a member of my team. Often I'll see him bragging to wild Pokemon, at least I think that's what he's doing. If Pokemon really are as intelligent as humans, their speech patterns don't show it. In battle he'll usually stand there and dodge at the last second, but his unique body structure allows him to take plenty of hits anyways.

Poliwhirl: Fiercely loyal, but fairly young and weak. In battle he tends to rush right into things, but I'm sure he'll be better once trained. Easily the fastest swimmer in my team, which is saying something. I hope that I'll get to see him fight in his element at the Silence Bridge.

Farfetch'd: Oh my Arceus, my mouth waters sooooooooo much when I look at this thing. I remember how my mom used to serve these on Mt. Coronet day, baked and stuffed, and I always got to have half of the leek! Seriously, Farfetch'd are the single most delicious thing on the planet, roasted, grilled, fried, nothing compares! Personally, I find it best when you add just a tiny bit of salt, purists don't like it, but it helps get rid of the bitter aftertaste that comes from eating a terminally endangered Pokemon. I guess I should hand it over to the breeders once my journey is done, so that future generations can enjoy them, but I'm hungry now dammit!
