OK, update-a-roony. For the fighting challenge, by the way. Last time we spoke I was training Shadow the Lucario. That was about three decades ago. I trained him, and he kicked Byron's steel rear end, OHKOing everything. Then stuff happened, Sinnoh exploded or something, I dunno, I wasn't really paying attention. I beat up some guys with stupid hair.

For some reason the League rules forbid me from saving the world until I beat Candice. So I whupped her (Fighting .vs. Ice, it was no challenge). Then Cyrus the Asshat almost destroyed me, but Shadow saved the day. It was a while ago that I did this, so forgive my lack of detail. Anyway, I freed the legendary Pokemon and climbed a mountain, and then I must've smoked some bad weed or something because there were all these giant sunflowers that kept disappearing and reappearing, an upside-down waterfall and this freaky giant centipede-dragon-reaper-mecha thing. I stuffed the God of Antimatter in a tiny ball and went on my way.

Gee, it's a little anticlimactic facing the 8th gym after saving the world and fighting the God of Antimatter, isn't it? Volkner was too tough for me first time round (damn TM-boosted Electrivire), so I had to grind everyone to lvl. 49. Charlie's Earthquake and Kendra's Dig took care of most of it. Now I'm off to the Pokemon League!

Heart Gold Flying Update:

-Battled some trainers on Cycling Road.
-Beat Janine. She's the easiest Kanto leader so far.
-Trained at the route east of Fushia and at Silence Bridge
-Trained more at routes by Cerulean City, and did the whole Power Plant scenario.
-Defeated Misty. It wasn't really easy or really hard.
-Caught me a Snorlax.
-Brock was also easy to defeat, even Omastar and Kabutops thanks to Earthquake.

A quick update.

I chose Bulbasaur as my starter and sped through the opening stages. I also caught a Spearow as an HM Slave for later, which is another reason why i picked Bulbasaur. I beat Gary twice, went through Viridian Forest, beat Brock and stoppped at Route 3, at the foot of Mt.Moon

Progress on Emerald

Started playing as a girl named Rachel. I chose torchic as my pkmn then did all the beginning stuff. As i was leaving Petalburg some guy named Scott showed up. He said i don't look like a trainer cuz im not dirty. Well excuse me. Helped the devon guy in the petalburg woods. Did some training then fought Roxanne. turned off the game without saving so had to start from the woods part. Fought and beat roxanne again. Did the devon thing. beat the aqua grunt and got the package back. After talkin to the devon president and leavin the building i was given a match call thing for my pokenav. As i was leavin Rustboro i saw brendan and decide to talk to him. We fought and i won. Got his # <3. Anyway talked to mr brinney and got a ride to dewford. on the way got a call from my dad. After i got there i headed to the cave to deliver a letter to steven. he talked a lot and gave me his #. After that i fought and beat the gym. Left and set sail for slateport. Got there and did the whole package thing. Beat the aqua grunts easilly. Scott showed up as i left the museum and talked a lot. Seriously who the hell is this guy. Anyway as i was leaving i saw a weird building where the contest hall usually is so i headed towards it. scott came and told me its a battle tent. How stupid. did it anyway. won the battles and got a full heal. woohoo.

Heart Gold Flying Progress:

-OK, I went through the Viridian Forest (level 3 Pokemon, really?!), then surfed to Cinnabar, and then the Seafoam Islands
-An easy victory against Blaine. Titan 1HKO'd them all.
-Defeated Blue! I managed to knock out Exeggutor before it used Trick Room. With the exception of Pidgeot, everyone else was pretty easy.
-Alright, since my team is very underleveled compared to Red's, I have some major grinding to do. But before that, I'll get Rock Climb and the GB Sounds item!
