I've been playing as the girl since Crystal.

I didn't vote because there isn't a "both" option.

In Platinum, I play as the girl.
In Diamond, I'll chose the girl.
In Pearl, I'll choose the boy.

I do the same in the other main series games that you can choose the gender. Third version - girl, whichever version of the two first ones I want - girl, last version - boy.

Since I'm a guy, I got with the male character most of the times. Presently, I've got Lucas. But I sometimes choose the girl character just for the lulz. xD;

I don't really like all those "you're a boy, so you've got to play as the boy" comments. I played as May in Sapphire because Brendan looked terrible, and I played as Lyra in SoulSilver because I was already playing as Ethan in HeartGold. Besides, you wouldn't want people to see you dressed as a girl in real life, so you can just dress like a girl virtually! Also, am I the only person that actually liked Lucas's Platinum redesign? Red and blue are just really great colors together, which might explain my Porygon fetish.

I'm female, so I of course use the female char. Always do. Only time I used a male char in any game is WoW, and that was because the female Undead look worse than the male ones.

I chosen the male charecter because I am male and feel weird playing as the opposite gender. O.o
