Pearl simply stepped to the side and batted Aura's head the way she would bat an errant kitten.

"Sweety, use Spark on Electro. Pearl, Fury Swipes on Aura," Jake said. Sweety charged straight at Electro, blue electricity spaking from her cheeks until she was covered by it and leapt, trying to slam into him. Pearl took a few steps toward Arua and swiped at him as gently as she could with her claws.

"Electro! Counter back with your Spark!" Electro was ready to go, charging straight at Sweety as blue electricity was bouncing around him. Electro & Sweety collided with Spark, but who was stronger? Electro wanted to win, so he tried to push back with full force.

Aura got hit by Fury Swipes, holding his face from the pain as he stepped back. He got a bit irritated & started forming something in his paws which surprised Silver. 'What is he doing?' He thought. A blue sphere appeared between Aura's paws as he shot it straight at Pearl. 'That's Aura Sphere!' Silver was surprised. This was no ordinary Riolu.

Sweety abruptly rolled out of the way when Electro slammed into her with his own Spark, letting him hit the ground. She swung her tail, which was getting a rather silvery sheen to it. She swung her Iron Tail, aiming to smack him in the behind for slamming into her head.

Pearl was not fairing so well. The Aura Sphere slammed into her and sent her lithe frame flying to the dirt. She yowled angrily and was back on her feet.

"Slash!" Jake said quietly. Pearl extended her claws and charged at Aura, swiping at him, still being gentle with the attacks to not hurt him.

Electro got surprised, but it was too late as he hit the ground with no escape. He got up & ranted at Sweety angrily. "Focus Electro! Electro Ball!" Electro's eye twinkled as he brought upon an electrical ball & shot it at Sweety. The faster the user, the stronger the attack.

Aura dodged the slash with a flip, landing lightly on 1 paw & standing. "Now Aura, another Force Palm!" Aura charged at Pearl with his paw ready, running from side to side to confuse Pearl 'til he got her from behind.

Pearl simply took a step forward and the attack narrowly messed hitting her head. She got back on all fours and ran a few feet away.

"Shadow Claw!" Jake said with a smile. Pearl nodded at him and swung her paw at Aura, blastign some energy at him. Still trying to be nice and not hurt him, though the fool was starting to get on her nerves.

Sweety was sent sprawling by the powerful Electro Ball. She was back on her feet a moment later and was chattering angrily at him.

"Spark, and then Endure!" Jake said, turning his attention back to the two of them. Sweety ran toward Electro, blue electricity covering her body and she leapt up at him, trying to hit him as hard as she could. While she did that, she braced for a powerful hit She didn't have much stamina left, but she wasn't going to go down that easily!

"Aura, Force Palm!" Aura countered Pearl's Shadow Claw with his Force Palm, both attacks connecting, resulting in an explosion, covering them in a cloud of smoke. 'Crud...' Silver thought.

Electro narrowly dodged the attack, cutting through his fur as Sweety headed towards the tree. This only made Electro laugh from seeing this. "Now, Quick Attack!" Electro got ready & charged at Sweety at full speed, but he has already lost enough health as it is so you can see he's getting tired.

Sweety slammed head first into the tree, and then was hit from behind by the Quick Attack. She barely hung on, thanks to her Endure, and scampered up the tree. She chattered angrily at Electro. Then she leapt down at him, swinging her Iron Tail aiming and knock him into next week. Jake smiled and turned his attention to Pearl.

Pearl walked out of the dust as calmly as if nothing had happened. She sat down, a little sorely and began licking her paw. Jake waited for the smoke to clear the rest of the way to see if she had knocked out Aura. He couldn't be sure with all that smoke in the air.

Electro was slammed to the ground flat by Sweety's Iron Tail, knocking him out. He has now fainted. "Crud!" Shouted Silver. His attention went back to the cloud of dust.

Their was no sign of Aura inside. Silver was starting to get worried. Was he knocked out? Then suddenly an Aura Sphere shot out, surprising Silver as it headed straight at Pearl. "Whoa!" Silver blurted out.

Sweety was delighted she had won and dropped to the ground and curled up next to Electro. She began crackling with electricity and soon enveloped both of them in it. Jake was stunned by what she was doing. She was recharging his battery, so to speak. After a moment passed she got up and pointed at Pearl. Jake looked over at her, shocked by what he saw.

Pearl was surprised when she got hit in the back of the head by the Aura Sphere. She fell flat on her face, but was back up after a moment. She yowled angrily and rushed at Aura, going to use Slash as hard as she posibly could to take him out once and for all!

"Pearl no!" Jake shouted as she swung her claw, aiming for the Riolu's throat. Hearing his voice made her falter, and miss as she glanced over at him, her anger forgotten.

Electro had woken up, stunned that Sweety revived him. He got up & looked at her for a moment, then huffed & looked away. He was quite mad he lost to a girl.

Silver was getting worried. This battle might get a bit over board. "Aura, Endure!" He shouted out. If Aura was gonna win, he had to withstand his own ground. Aura stood there & got ready for any impact.

"I think that's enough from you Pearl," Jake said slowly. Pearl was too mad. That normally would be fine, though she was fighting an infant. Anger from her would lead to a very suspicious accident happening to Aura. And besides, there was still Sweety to battle with Pearl huffed and walked back to Jake. Sweety glanced at Electro and then ran in toward Aura, ready to continue the fight with him.

"Pachi pachi!" she said happily, waving a paw at him, before blasting at him with Thunderbolt. She was quite happy, even though she was still weakened from her battle with Electro.

Aura dodged the Thunderbolt with a cartwheel to the left & shot an Aura Sphere at Sweety, having fun with this battle. "Alright Aura! You go!" Silver rooted for Aura. Perhaps he was too excited...

Electro climbed up a tree & watched the battle. He was still quite mad he lost to a girl. Soon though, he'll win next time for sure!

Sweety leapt cleat out of the way and yelled happily.

"Sweety! You got this! Spark!" Jake said calmly. He knew better than to let himself get worked up in the midst of a battle. Sweety was stronger, faster, and more experienced than Aura, but after her fight with Electro, all it would take was one good hit to finish her off. Sweety obeyed his command instantly, charging right at Aura, crackling as she covered herself with blue electricity.

One Spark would do good damage to Aura. There's only one option at the moment. "Aura, Endure! Then finish her off with Force Palm!" Aura stood his ground & took on the Spark head on. He was hit, leaving him exhausted, but with quick speed he shot his paw straight at Sweety with Force Palm.

Sweety jerked her head back, but not in time, as the Force palm slammed into her skull. She rocked a little bit and fell to the ground, a dazed and confused look on her face. Jake smiled at Silver as he walked out to check on Sweety. She was ok, just fainted, thankfully.

"Good battle kid. You've got some skills. I know that you'll be able to make it all the way to the championships!" Jake said as he picked Sweety up and carried her back to Pearl, who was eyeing the rest of the pokemon present with slight contempt, and a massive amount of boredom. Jake sat down and looked at his quiet companion. She meowed boredly at him and curled up beside him for a cat nap (lol). He turned his attention back to Silver.

Yup. It can miss. But not in fourth gen. Though we're using fifth gen mechaniques, where it has an accuracy of 100, which means it is dodgable. I did my research. :P

Aura won. He won! Nice! Aura may be a newborn, but he was really strong. Silver walked to Aura's side. "Really? I really doubt that can happen, but if you think so, thanks!"

Aura walked to Sweety, & said he had a great battle with her. He even wants to do it again sometime. She's really fun when you get the chance to play with her.

Jake nodded at Silver.

"Of course you can! Heck, someone has to knock my brother off his high horse. I bet you'll be there in no time!" Jake said happily. Sweety slowly came to and looked at Aura. She had had fun. She grinned happily at him and leapt up to his head, curling up on top of it for a rest. She patted him happily on his nose and spun around slightly so that her tail fell off the back of Aura's head. It reminded Jake of that explorer that always wore the raccoon skin hats. What was his name again? Jake couldn't remember. He sat and laughed at the pair of them.
