People say that I have black hair, but mine was a really, really dark shade of brown.

My natural hair color is that of a really dark brown. A lot of people think it's black, but if I look in the mirror, I can tell it's dark brown. My hair color is a mix of my mom's (light brown) and my dad's (used to be black/dark brown), so I ended up being a bit more like my dad, but I still have some of my mom's hair color genes.

Actually though, every now and then I notice a reddish hair. My grandmother was a redhead so I can only assume that's where it comes from.
