What kind of Pokemon trainer would you be?

I work as a web analyst so I assume I'd have to have a Metagross and Magnezone to process all my python scripts / XPath queries and fix them when I fail at syntax D:

I really want a supercomputer that could also punch people through walls for me. What!?

  • Ah, I could go too far with this because if/where Pokemon are real, everything would be much different from anime/games.

But, theoretically speaking, I'd probably be an adventurer with an urge to have a flexible team that would cover every possible situation I might find myself in. I would probably organize some kind of group of strong trainers or something who i can rely on and train with. I'd probably be a gym leader, ambitious and slightly arrogant proud lol.

...I'd also probably be consider a complete creep for marrying a Gardevoir.

  • I imagine I'd be pretty casual Pokemon Trainer. I'd love to have several Pokemon as my buddies. Swablu and Mincinno would be helpful to have around the house for assisting with cleaning chores, and I bet a Smeargle could help me improve my artistic skill.

I'd play with them lots like in Pokemon Amie and perhaps if they were interested we'd compete in Pokemon Contests.

    Ah yes! Many of my friends love Pokemon, too, but are more serious trainers than me. But I'd love to travel the world with them and our Pokemon! I've a feeling they'd want to teach me to improve my skill at Pokemon battles, though. {XD}

Oh, I think about this situation all the time. In the Pokemon World, I would likely not have all that many Pokemon on me. Wouldn't be able to handle collecting so many and giving them all attention. Instead of carrying six, I'd probably only carry two or three on-hand. It's more realistic that way. All of these creatures are living beings, and they require love, attention, and food.

Also, whilst I'd occasionally battle for fun and sport, it wouldn't be my main focus. I've seen in the anime and such that many people use Pokemon in their jobs. I would likely work as a kind of administrator/manager of something. Perhaps the head of the Gym Quality Inspection Team for the Pokemon League. And it would be my job to travel around the world for these inspections, with my Braixen, Espeon, and Flygon. The first two would help me with the inspections, using their Psychic abilities. The last one would mainly be for travel purposes.

I would also be an artist on the side, using my Braixen to help me with my pieces. I'd probably cover her stick with paint and collaborate with her.

It would be perfect for me. Whilst I enjoy doing art in real life and want it to be my job, I would much prefer a job that involves more importance, managing and enforcing standards. Something practical so I could feel like I'm doing things. And I could still have my art be an important part of me and as something I do for fun/to express myself.

This is just a thought. I don't really have a full idea of what I'd do in the Pokemon World. But it seems most likely.

A loyal trainer. I'd have one pokemon, keep him/her as a pet, then train it to destroy everyone.

I would probably have one Pokémon that I'd keep as a loyal pet. Something like a Growlithe. I wouldn't want to have a lot of Pokémon and I wouldn't be interested in battling.

Same here. I'd probably have a cute Pokemon, like Deerling or Skitty or Piplup, and we'd just roam around the Pokemon world. I'd join Pokemon Contests, though, but not actively.

i'd at least get the gym badges to use fly and surf n stuff, but i'd probably be traveling most of it. the best parts of the game for me is the wandering and the growth gained from it. i might not train my pokes to be the most terrifying force in the world, but rather i would focus on probably mastering their skills, and from there safely be able to roam the pokeworld.

  • I'd probably be a collector, but I'd be more confident in battling since, in a realistic scenario, any Pokémon can succeed. There are no tiers in the anime and manga, only love and hard work.

  • I'd just be a trainer who doesn't really specialise in a type nor strong Pokemon. I'd basically have a bunch of my favourites from different regions with various types.

In all honesty, I wouldn't be too much like him, but I would probably remind myself as Ash. The thought of getting to travel the world with friends, meeting legendaries (if lucky because it'll be reality and extremely hard to meet them), and raising your own and new pokemon sounds amazing to me. As for competing in leagues? Not sure how I would be there.
