My favorite type would be Water because I'm calm most of the time, which water is represented by. It also has good neutral coverage. Fighting comes in at a close second.

Me, I like sinister and scary pokemon...most of which happen to fall under the banner of Poison/Dark/Ghost/Bug. :P

Bug, they are so cool! Different flying insects, ground insects, and they all seem to freak out Misty!

1. Grass: I've always loved grass Pokemon. I think they have the most visually pleasing designs and tend to relate well to my personality. I love nature, gardens and the sweet aroma of a beautiful flower. There's nothing more beautiful or dangerous in the world than wild, untamed nature. <3

2. Psychic: Mysterious and intelligent, I adore psychic Pokemon. They tend to be connected with dreaming, which is one of my favorite passtimes. In addition to being inherently awesome in every way, they're incredibly fun to train.

3. Electric: Electric Pokemon are just plain awesome. There are a few that come off as pretty 'meh' to me, but the cool ones are really cool.

4. Ice: I can't give an exact reason why, but I've always liked Ice Pokemon. Maybe it's because they are so few, it adds a sense of interesting obscurity.

5. Ghost: I didn't really appreciate ghost Pokemon until gen 5. Desukaan made me give them a second look. There are plenty of awesome designs and their seclusion is relatable in many, many ways.

6. Dragon: I'm not as obsessed with them as some people, but I do think many are great Pokemon. I also have an interest in mythology, so I appreciate them from that standpoint as well. The elegance, mystery and rarity behind them are all wonderful characteristics.
Stand out Pokemon:

7. Dark: Underhanded trickery is not commendable...but it is cool in its own way. Dark Pokemon are facinating and maybe a little misunderstood. :P

8. Fire: Fire Pokemon are pretty cool. I can't say I understand the cult-like following they've gained, but I think fire is a very respectable typing.

9. Water: I like some water Pokemon, but I think there are plenty of boring ones. I think it's a cool type overall though.

10. Rock: Rock Pokemon are awesome only because this type contains most fossilized Pokemon. Other than that, it's pretty bland and tends to blend in with Ground.

11. Ground: I find this typing a little boring. There are some cool Pokemon, but most are pretty forgettable.

12. Flying: There are some gems in what I consider to be a rather boring typing.

13. Poison: Poison Pokemon have never stood out to me. There are some cool ones, but most are forgettable.

14. Normal: Normal Pokemon are useful in some occasions, but usually very bland. There are a few normal Pokemon that are incredibly cool though.

15. Steel: Ugh...This is a type I just never got into.

16. Fighting: I've always loathed this type. Some humanoid Pokemon are okay, but most fighting Pokemon are just too hard on the eyes...

Although I like more Grass Pokémon, my favorite TYPE is Water, becasue it's well balanced in my opinion, and I'm so used to spamming with Surf. xD

I don't know why I always feel the need to answer this thread when it pops up, but my favorite Pokemon type is grass! In real life I suppose you could call me a nature lover, (as dumb as that sounds) but I've just always had a big respect for the outdoors. Grass Pokemon being based on plant life really centers around my in real life love for plant life.

I've really come to like every Pokemon type, but if I had to name a few others that stand out I would say fire, steel, normal, and fighting. In no particular order of course. :)

I'd say Water is one of my favorites, just because some of my favorite pokemon, like Squirtle and Feraligatr are Water-Type.

My favourite type has always been Grass despite the fact that it's the one of the worst types in the game. I suppose it has to do with the fact that green is my favourite colour.

Mine has to be either Ghost/Dragon/Grass. They are all incredibly useful yet powerful. xD

Dark
because they can totally kill Psychic and Ghost Type Pokemon.
Flying
because they can use fly to avoid attacks.
Fire
because they can burn all my enemies to ash.
