  • I'm only 14, so I'll see how this stuff works out.
Most attainable- Author, Photographer, Musician, Advertising Manager (not all of them, I'll see what works out).
Not really attainable- Professional Baseball Player, Professional Rugby Player.
I'm really into the arts, especially writing. For some reason, everyone thinks I should be an engineer. No way. Never.

When I was younger I wanted to do everything. And guess what? Now I can.

I pretty much liken my life to this:

If you mean my career, I'll just tell you what I tell my mother every time she asks; Con Man.
    She can't tell if I'm serious. . .

I want to be the very best, like no one ever was. B]

In all seriousness however, I've always wanted to be an author for fictional books. I've always enjoyed writing as a hobby and to be able to make money out of something I enjoy doing, would be wonderful! Other than that I've never really considered anything else or thought about the topic that much. My parents used to ask me what I wanted to do, but I would always shrug in reply. Now that I do think about it however, my first option would be an author or a person who makes the props in movies. Why I chose the second one is probably because I thought it'd be a lot of fun making various costumes/designs. :p

  • I always wanted to be a Soldier after my grandfather would tell me old war stories from the Korean war. I'm living that dream now, but not sure if I'm going to stick with it for a lifetime. Now I'm studying to become a mechanical engineer.

Don't let the physical aspect of the Army discourage you, it's not as bad as it seems, they will work with you to get you at where you need to be. The Army only gives as much as it receives. The harder you try the better your career will be. So if it's something you really want to do then go for it. Live your life with no regrets, hooah!

  • I've always wanted to be an artist...I've been told I've had a really creative mind, and that I have many ideas for art, now the problem is if I can actually perform it >.>

I now have a real sloppy hand, I can't draw anything without it looking shabby ;~; I can still try though!

  • What's my dream job?
That's a really tricky one since there's so much I want to do and so much I love doing. But I honestly have to go with teacher first and foremost. I just love working with kids and sharing my knowledge with them and helping them achieve their goals.

When I was quite a bit younger my main goal was to be an author. I loved writing stories, and still to this day enjoy coming up with stories - and even have pretty good ideas (even if I do say so myself). But I have a tendency to run out of ideas or get bored of my own plot after a while and scrap the idea. I'd still love to publish a book - perhaps a short story anthology - but I lack the time and the focus I think.

The other profession I'd consider my dream job is I'd love to go into coaching dance properly. I have done some work towards my qualification so it is attainable for me but the pay isn't to great if you're as inexperienced as me. So it will only ever be a secondary job at best.

    What am I doing now?

I don't actually have a job right now. I am however studying primary/elementary education at university (I'm in my second year now) and as I said before I have done some limited study towards my coaching qualification too. I'd say I'm pretty much on track for having not even turned 18 yet.

    Why those jobs?

Well I have pretty much summed it up already haven't I... ? :D

  • Since I was young I always wanted to be the next greatest football star in the world, sort of like the next "Pele" or "Maradona" or "Ronaldo" a name everyone would remember. I never took that direction

What is your dream job? - not sure anymore, maybe a chef.

Are you doing that job, or doing something else? Do you think you can achieve what you want? - I plan on taking college courses for a culinary education - so yes I can achieve it if I want and put effort into it. During the mornings to around midday, I get to help out elderly/disabled in their home (it's called Community Aide - 3 times a week, part time), every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at nights I get to do some janitorial work (part time) - I just needed some sort of job to buy medication and (non-important) Pokemon items.

Why do you want to do that job, or how does it suit you? Always interested in the world of food (blame it a lot on Food Network)

  • when I was younger I wanted to be a Postman because I liked postman pat. As for now I am trying to write my short stories Talli Tales. I chose to write my stories because I failed at most jobs I have had, part from being a mum.

  • When I was younger I alternated quite a bit. I went from wanting to become a Dentist to a Lawyer, a Policeman etc. Right now my goal is to achieve a career in Medicine, whether it be as a Doctor (GP or Specialist) or as a medicinal research or chemist. I also wouldn't mind teaching at university or secondary schools in my later years when I've had enough of Medicine. I'd probably teach, Mathematics and Chemistry, and perhaps English; you never know.

  • Up until a few months ago, I had a burning desire to be a lawyer. However, it struck me that I've always been far more interested in medicine-related fields of study than law, notwithstanding the fact that I consider myself quite educated in medicine for my age. Being a general practitioner or somehow involved in medicine is my current goal.

I'm quite confident in my ability to achieve my goal to get into medicine. Should I knuckle down in the later years of high school in an attempt to achieve the ATAR required to pursue a medicine career, I'll get there.

A career in medicine would suit me as I am intrigued by the subject matter and I have already extensively studied it. It's quite an interesting topic.

  • When I was younger I alternated between three career choices. First I wanted to be a teacher, but that didn't work well because I hate kids. Then I wanted to be a secret agent, but I got scared of getting shot. And finally I got settled in for meteorologist. I still have that dream, but I really need to fix my ongoing math struggle. To be a meteorologist you have to be very good at math.

Today, I'm a college graduate from IT, but at the moment I'm working on getting a higher degree. I really love my field. It makes me aware of what technology is and how it's becoming important to the world.

  • I wanted to be many things when I was small. The most outstanding one is probably an astronaut, but I doubt I'll ever be smart enough to become one haha. Floating around space sounds cool though.

Right now I'm looking into architecture. I love the idea of shaping buildings and having your own vision, your own designs onto something such in a huge scale. I'm normally conserved and don't really like showing off but for some reason I feel like I would love being an architect for the opposite reasons.

I have been told several times that I should work with a friend of mine to publish books. She can write well and I (according to other people) can write/draw, so they think it's a good combination.

There really isn't any job I particularly want, honestly. I'm just going to go along with whatever I end up doing with my life.

My dream job was to be a doctor. I've always been a fan of doctors, especially my pediatrician. But as time went off, I gave up on that dream. I realized that first, it's not something I want to grow old to. Also, the life of people are in your hands and that is a big responsibility. The last one is that I discovered that I hate internal organs and any deep wound scares me. I realized that I don't have the guts for that.
I still want to work somewhere in the sciences, if I could be a meteorologist, I can live all my life being one. Although right now, I am currently taking a Physics course. I think that will make a good background for taking meteorology as it involves that. But whatever, I just hope I enjoy the job that I get after I graduate. I also hope I finish this course well :)

When I was really young, I wanted to work in a grocery store. Specifically, I wanted to be the one who collected the carts in the parking lot and brought them back to the store's entrance.

Then for a while, I wanted to be a vet because I really liked animals. Turns out that I have panic attacks if I see a needle and hate the sight of blood and get all emotional if an animal's in pain, so that career didn't work out!

Then I wanted to be a writer, since I was always writing fanfiction. Turns out that I only really have an interest in fanfiction, so that career didn't work out!

Which leaves me with the grocery store job. And that's where I work now: the same store that I used to sit in the parking lot of and dream of collecting carts. I actually did that job for four years before getting promoted to what I do now. And I love my job. It's perfect for me, working alone, getting a lot of hours, only being responsible for myself. It's a quiet job.

Though now that I know more about retail, my dream job is to work the overnight shift, stocking shelves. Another perfect job where I work alone in a quiet store, responsible only for myself, except I can actually sleep my normal hours and spend time with my family and friends.

I wanna be a congressman. Making Bank and important decisions

Also wouldn't mind being president but that seems a little unrealistic of a goal
