I would pick a Bagon, since it becomes such a strong Pokemon when it evolves into Salamence.

-Fighting (No 3-stage Fighting types exist!)
-Psychic (Ralts, 'cuz Gardevoir's awesome)

If I had to pick one of three starters the starters would have to be Chikorita, houndor or Totodile I voted houndour though since I love that pokemon :D oh and sudowoodo would be nice too.
