Welcome to the Wonder Trade Challenge!
This challenge makes use of the unpredictable Wonder Trade feature in Pokemon X and Y. You'll never know what you'll get!
So, in this challenge after you receive your starter pokemon, go catch five more in the first patch of grass you walk into. After you've got your six pokemon, you must use the Wonder Trade and trade all six of them. Whatever the six new pokemon from the Wonder Trade are the pokemon that you must start your journey with.
There are a couple more rules for this challenge;
- E A S Y -
- You may only catch one additional pokemon per route. The caught pokemon must be wonder traded for a new pokemon.
- All pokemon you receive must be wonder traded. You do not have to accept the gifted pokemon if you don't want to.
- Mega stones may be used for pokemon obtained through the wonder trade.
- You may catch ONE HM slave if needed. You may NOT battle with this pokemon.
- Trading to evolve a pokemon obtained through wonder trade is permitted.
- You may catch and keep legendary and/or shiny pokemon if you wish but these pokemon are not to be used in the challenge.
- Challenge ends when you've battled AZ at the end of the credits.
- H A R D -
- All of the rules above apply.
- Once a pokemon faints, you must wonder trade it for a new one.
- Absolutely no using pokemon centers (unless you're using the pokemart or PC).
- If all of your pokemon faint, the challenge ends.
- You must wonder trade one pokemon after each gym battle.
- Trading for evolution is NOT permitted.
