I'm fifteen years old and I'm still running strong with my Pokémon fandom.
Even if most of the school knows me as "The Pokefan"
I'm 14, and don't care about what people say because pokemon is a lot more strategic than call of duty.
I'm 18. I am a little embarrassed still over liking Pokemon even though I know I shouldn't be. I loved Pokemon when I was little and I just started playing the games again a year or two ago, so I guess for my family it is kind of weird. I don't really feel embarrassed that I play the games because THAT I honestly don't care what people think, they're games. But if I want to buy Pokemon merch or watch the anime on TV or something, it's a bit embarrassing. I don't think Pokemon is JUST for little kids, it's just associated with little kids and that's what people think about it, I just have to get over it I guess. :/
That is definitely true, people just don't understand that until they've actually played the games, they associate the games with the anime and think, oh Pokemon, that's for little kids. But man, when I started playing again and started looking online at things, I was baffled by all the ways to train and breed and the events there are, just wow. xD I doubt many little kids understand all of that stuff. If you're 18 then you should be able to understand what our community mate up there just said, most kids can't even get a decent strategy going, they just grab a cool monster, they throw fire blasts and hyperbeams for him to learn and then they think they're amazing trainers. I think that we have so many things we need to be aware of to get a strategy going that I think this is about the contrary, I think this is a game for teenagers, people over 15y.o.
