The biggest Cricket event for The English and The Australians started today!.

England won the toss and chose to bat,
    The day ended at 336-7.

So yeah, go England and such.

    Discuss please.

    Aha!
Yay, we've got lots of runs!
Hopefully we can get them all out, which is likely, and win the Ashes once again!

Yeah, we didn't do terribly today.

But our batting prospects tommorrow aren't looking all that seeing as we only have bowlers left.

    Damn, no cricket fans here?

End of the 4th day and only 2 results possible. An Australian win or a draw. A lot will depend on whether the weather holds up. Australia need 8 wickets with 98 overs to play. If they get a full day's play, then Australia will have more than enough time to bowl England out.

  • Wahey for a stereotypical English game for the Americans to scoff at! =D

But yes, I was looking forward to the Ashes and like to play the game with friends during the summer, but I predict a loss for us again. From what I've seen, read and heard, our bowling attack just isn't potent enough.

    *revives*

    Anyway.

It's 1-0 to England after a brilliant display at Lords.

Freddy was as good as he's ever been.

    discuss plx.
