Your face above mine
In the crystal morning light
You've got that smile
That sends shivers down my spine
Hot headed you
Ripping at my sleeves
Scarlet stained clothes
Bound to a lie so tight my wrists have rope burn
Passion like salt on a cut
A blind dog following its master's call
Doing as it's told
Cute but dumb
If the gag wasn't so tight
I'd tell everyone the truth
But would they get it?
Probably not
In the crystal morning light
You've got that smile
That sends shivers down my spine
Hot headed you
Ripping at my sleeves
Scarlet stained clothes
Bound to a lie so tight my wrists have rope burn
Passion like salt on a cut
A blind dog following its master's call
Doing as it's told
Cute but dumb
If the gag wasn't so tight
I'd tell everyone the truth
But would they get it?
Probably not

Just to clarify, this poem is about two guys, not a guy and a girl. Although it could be seen either way.
