Simple question, but much room for diversity: who's your favourite Muppet or Sesame Street character and why?

Too old/young to remember Sesame Street? Have no idea what a Muppet is? Just let Homer Simpson's description of one to his daughter enlighten you:

To answer the question, my fave is obviously Cookie Monster. His glorious obsession with cookies aside, he's also the wittiest, funniest, most sarcastic Muppet around, and brings chaos to everywhere he goes. Wonderful!
