    • When Life Gives you Lemons...​


    When life gives you lemons​
    People say make lemonade.​
    But how exactly do you make it?​


    The lemons of life, squeezed and stirred in a pitcher.​
    Add some suger. Add some more.​
    Too much sugar and it's no longer the truth.​
    a fountain of sweetness that hides what it is.​
    Too much sugar makes bad lemonade.​
    My mouth is dry from over saturation.​


    This time aim for less sugar, more water.​
    Add some sugar. Add water, more water.​
    But the lemon is toned down, too much so.​
    Leaves a bitterness in the mouth​
    that will stay with me for weeks to come.​
    A bitterness in life is too much water.​
    Too much fact for the lemons.​


    Aim for a balance. Don't overdo it.​
    Lemon, water, sugar, lemon, water, sugar.​
    But in the end, you have what you started.​
    A sour taste that puckers the lips,​
    and waters the eyes.​
    The taste ruins the buds and leaves me​
    tasting sour for many meals to come.​


    So when life give you lemons, how do you make lemonade​
    Without making the lemons worse?​

    Wow! That poem was really cool Pogi! <3 I like how it's showing to not overdue life. You shouldn't have to strain yourself so much just to end up hiding behind a smile. Life is about being who you really are, not mixing and matching things to hide behind.

    But once you find the right combination, then life is set and ready to drink! =D
    Awsome job Pogi, I wuved it. ^^

    • Um... Thanks.. Except that wasn't what the poem was about. :\ It was about how hard it is sometimes to make the best of a bad situation. Especially since sometimes when you try it just gets worse.

    Hence "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade."
