What is my cgi-bin actually used for...?

Is there any cool things that I can do with it?

That's where you would upload your CGI scripts. That's all. CGI isn't really good anymore. PHP and ASP.NET replaced it.

  • While many CGI scripts have been replaced with PHP scripts, you'll still find some very useful CGI scripts. The CGI-BIN is a repository for those scripts, although nowadays many hosts allow you to put CGI scripts in any folder. It's always best to confine them to the CGI-BIN just in case. ^^
