Not sure on the Pokemon, but you can really do better on the Trainers. Here's my take here...

    Trainers (24):
    3 Candy
    4 TV Reporter
    3 Copycat
    3 Steven's Advise
    2 Rocket's Admin
4 Battle Frontier or Desert Ruins
    1 Retriever
4 (Crystal Shard, Strength Charm, or any of the UFO Tools)

TV Rep is in POP2, legal at the end of the month (technically).

I'm not really sure what you want to do with that. Is there a strategy involved with the deck?

What's your strategy? What do you want this deck to revolve around? How do you want it to work?

Right now, all I can say is reduce the amount of evolution lines in the deck and beef up the ones that you have. 2-1-2 and 2-2 lines are generally support lines, not main lines.

well,, i try to start off with:

Paras using call for family...look for Sunkern and Bulbasaur.

after that if i can't evolve it to parasect do the attack again.look for Spinarak and Sunkern
. prolly by this turn im able to get out venusaur ex and Sunflora

after i get parasect out.. i start to pump them with his Energy Powder ...

i can either switch to use Sunflora to attack or ariados. Sunflora's attack its amazing if parasect is able to do energy powder for at least 2 -3 turns

while venusaur ex is waiting in the bench untill completely pumped.... only bring him out if in need ....

Also a friend of mine recently(today) gave me a box full of pokemon cards... i picked some out to ask if i could use any in this deck and also what could i take out..

    these are the ones.
    Desert Ruins x 1
    wally's training
    Ancient tomb x 1
    Great ball
    masterball x 2
    Professor oak's research
professor cozmo's discovery x 1(although i had 1 in my deck and took itout
    Pokemon Retriever
    Rare Candy
    Professor elm's training method
    crystal shard x 2
    strength charm x 4

    thanks a lot

    att JDF

OK, Paras/Parasect powerup with Venusaur main attacker, possibly Ariados UFO as a backup. Stick with me here...

    Pokemon (20):
    4 Paras
    4 Parasect
    3 Bulbasaur
    2 Ivysaur
    3 Venusaur ex
    2 Spinarak
    2 Ariados

    Trainers (24):
    3 Candy
    4 TV Reporter
    3 Copycat
    3 Steven's Advise
    2 Rocket's Admin
    4 Battle Frontier
    1 Retriever
    4 Celio's Network or PETM (preferrably a 2-2 split, but 4 combined)

    Energy (16):
    16 Grass

REmember that Parasect helps you power up, so you want him out EARLY. Once Parasect has done his job of powering up Venusaur, you let Parasect die and just smack around with that for a while. Late game, Ariados comes in after Venusaur is KO'd (and it WILL eventually get KO'd) and attack with sleepburn very cheaply while you power up another Venusaur. Enjoy!

Venusaur, your main attacker, can't use Ancient Tomb, and Battle Frontier is just so deadly against this deck's main weakness: RocLoc.

This deck needs a LOT of straight draw, and only a very little amount of hand switching.

    Trainers (24):
    4 TV Rep
    4 Steven
2 Mary (early game, b4 Venu hits)
    2 Admin
3 Candy (you've only got a 2-1-2 evo line, that's plenty for that)
    2 ETM
    3 Celio
    4 BF
