There?s something amiss in that house over there..
That old run-down house,
With windows that glare.

For hours on end,
I?ll sit down and stare.

I?m very sure of myself-
For deep in my heart, I see,
That there?s something amiss in that house over there..
'Tis very clear to me.




Last night I saw a monster..
In the window of that house.
The very windows that glare at me,
Just like an arguing spouse.


Mother says it?s my imagination,
That what I say ain?t true.
But I know there was a figure there,
Real as the deep sea blue.



One by one,
A mystery is spun,
From within that old weird pad.


I know you?re just as baffled..

I know you?re just as rad.


You know you are, so will you..
Just go to that house with me, please?


The weird old house is inviting..
The other kids won?t tease.


So come on, neighbor, come with me-
You know it needs to be.
Come on, neighbor, come with me-

And unravel the mystery.
