    I usually use:
    Ash
    Hiro
    Kenji
    Flora (for the girl)
    サトシ (in the Japanese versions)

    Maybe some more but those are the most common. One of my friends always names her character Pika... no matter what game ><

    Oh yeah, I use タナカ alot, too.

    サトシ= Satoshi
    タナカ= Tanaka

    i named mines in sapphire bacura,cuz hes my farivorite character in any anime ever.

    crystal: Crystal
    yellow: Ash(back then wen i used to like ash, now he gets on my nerves)
    red: red
    blue: blue
    silver: silver
    silver(the second time) gold XD
    sapphire(the first time) may(played as girl)

    i guess that i ussually call them by the games name.
     
    I usualy use Ash but in ruby i've used Sea
     
    If I play a female, it's Winter. If I play a male, it's usually Michael. If I don't have a choice, I'll name them Winter.

    I used to name all my characters Umbra (I still go by the name of Walks-the-Umbra in some places), but I lost touch with that name, and Winter seems to suit me better.
     
    I Usually just use Tyson. Considering it's my name.
     
    lol, I've always used AJ or Aj. On a japanese rom, I just looked for symbols that looked like "A" and "J" LOL. Then I got a book on Japanese writting, and tried putting that in. Then I couldn't find "J (ay)"
     
    I always name them Martin, but in r/b/g/y and fr/lg Ash. And Violet if I choose female.

    Could have used the katakana and made yourself 'Jei'.
     
    here's what i named my self in all the versions:
    Red: Red/Dustin (always like that name)
    Yellow: Ash
    Gold: Gold
    Ruby:Ruby -Girl/Matt orDustin -boy
    Fire Red(when i get it)-Lexy or Lil Schu
    I always named myself after the versions for some odd reason...can't really do that in fr/lg though can i?

    Yellow - Ash (couldn't think of anything)
    Red - Aaron (my first name)
    Blue - Josh (my middle name)

    Gold -boy- Jesse (my best friend)
    Gold -girl- Athena (my other best friend)
    Silver - boy - Justin (my older brother)
    Silver - girl - Sarina (sailor moon's name, don't laugh)
    Crystal - boy - Dhani (sounds cool and it's my cousin's name)
    Crystal - Girl - Annika (Dhani's sister)

    kin - boy - Hiriyu
    kin - girl - Ayumi
    gin - boy - Honda (street fighter guy)
    gin - girl - Kimiko (japanese friend) or Hotaru

    Ruby - boy - Josh (duh...sensing a trend here?)
    Ruby - girl - Callisto
    Sapphire - boy - Jesse
    Sapphire Girl - Athena

    uh...that's about it, right now in both my ruby and sapphire
    they're what I mostly play now

    I have Josh and Jesse as my characters respectively.
    I don't have much imagination for names...
