    This is one of my favorite poems that I've written, it always makes me feel better somehow...

    * * * * *

    The rain falls only on the outside,
    Tiny droplets cannot kill the spirit,
    Minds are not shattered by gray clouds.
    The rain may wash, soak and rinse my body,
    Damage my temple as it wishes; I will survive.
    Break me, batter me, beat me senseless.
    Do your worst, but no matter what,
    You will never touch the flame inside.
