Blood Tests

So, I have very low blood pressure and a variety of other ailments that I can't be bothered to go into detail about. Half the doctors I've seen just tell me I'll grow out of it, but that's not useful to me now when I faint at least once a week and have to steady myself whilst I wait for my vision to clear every single time I stand up. I've had countless bloodtests, and the last one I had showed high calcium levels. The calcium levels couldn't affect my blood pressure, but they have various other causes:
- 20% chance that the blood test wasn't taken correctly
- 68% chance that I have hyperparathyroidism ([FONT=Trebuchet MS, Arial, Helvetica]Parathyroid glands are little glands in the neck that control the calcium in the blood. Occasionally one of them will grow into a benign tumor, which is virtually 100% benign)[/FONT]
- 12% chance that I have cancer
- 6% chance that I have Paget's disease ([FONT=Trebuchet MS, Arial, Helvetica]a skeletal disorder that often results in enlarged or deformed bones in one or more regions of the skeleton)

Having medical knowledge is a *****. Now every time something is wrong with me or someone I'm close to, I'll give them my own diagnosis and always think of the worse case scenario.

Fingers crossed it was just a faulty blood test :) Either way, there are thousands of worse diseases than the ones listed. All of them can be treated, yet there are millions and millions of people who die because they don't have access to flu vaccines and cough treatments. This world is messed up.
