Alright, so I'm new to Blogs and all that.
But, I'm hoping to take up a general theme here that I've not seen in other places, and that's of course thinking outside the darn box. Namely, competitive Pokémon.
So, I'll be posting all about the tier that everyone loves to hate: OU. I'll be trying to get something up at least once every two weeks. To get this little ball of insanity rolling, I'll be out with this round's theme... Lapras.
Yep, you heard me right. Why the heck would someone use a stinker like this in OU? I have one good answer: We all hate Vaporeon enough to bring its partner in crime out to stall it.
Lapras @ Red Card
Hydration
EV's: 252 Att, 252 Spd, 4 w/e
- Waterfall
- Ice Shard
- Rest
- Dragon Dance
Alright, so this set beats a whole slew of stuff in two ways. First off, it's got that wicked setup in D-Dance, something that Vaporeon is already blue with envy of. Secondly, you've got about the same amount of bulk -- even though typing is sometimes a let-down. And let's face it, Lapras's physical movepool is about as sparse as a Magikarp's.
But don't let that get you down. There are about a million different things that you can go completely to town on, such as anything that has Stall stamped on its forehead. Once they actually decide to hit you with something, they get forced out, and you've been able to go to town and set up on them... or Rest and recover every last drop of HP that they worked so hard to drop.
I'll get battle logs for this leviathan later. But feel free to post your own comments on this guy! Next round will be another gimmick to rock your Pokeworld with! Tune in for next time, and leave your comments!
